I cannot help but cry as I am typing this post, as I can relate to exactly what you are going through. I wish I could shed some light on why we aren't getting our BFP this month, it's really perplexing. I am like you in having to pay for everything out of pocket, and I really didn't know how we would scrape up 17 grand for more treatment, but we found a clinic that does offer financing and the IVF Attain program. (6 tries, 70% of your money back if no baby). You might could google IVF Attain program to see which clinics in your area offer that as an option? I keep praying something will happen naturally too, it did once before so we must keep on believing in miracles too. ((((((((HUGS))))))))

Wndrgrl- I am so sorry. It is awful to go through a chemical, and they can't tell you exactly why it happened. I like your DH's attitude though. You WILL be a mom one day. You should talk to your clinic about ways to try another IVF. There are always programs and ways that they can help you finance a cycle. I am 100% self pay... No IVF covered, so I understand. Take care of yourself and hug DH tight.

Just got a call from the RE - beta today was 772. Generally my doctor only does 2 beta's...but he wants me to come in for a 3rd beta on Friday because it didn't double all the way over the 4 day period. With a beta of 248 on 7/1, it should have been in the high 900's today. I am really concerned that something is going to go wrong now I asked the nurse if I should be really concerned and she said they just want to monitor it, but I now I just have this deep sinking feeling what if everything turns around.

Next Beta & U/S on Friday - 7/8.

Dreams- do not lose hope. It takes 48- 72 hours to double. Your bean is snuggling in! I'm sure it's just a precaution to recheck it.

Wndrgrl - so sorry about the chemical pg. i also self pay IVF cycles so i know how it feels to put everything u have and have a negative result.... as sunshine said, if u can try to find a clinic who has some options... i wish u all the best in whatever u'll decide.

Dreams - don't loose hope, i remember once i read about a lady who had low beta nbrs but on her third one it more than doubled, will be praying for ur baby to stick to his momy.

AFM - today AF started to give some signs, hope that by tomorrow or thursday it will be strong enough (sorry TMI) to visit my RE and start with the new protocol, im excited and anxious at the same time, so i think that i should have my BFP the first week of august

Ok AFM~ Just got the call and my beta is 88. My RE says that's a great solid number. With my twin pregnancy my beta was 450 so to me the # seems very low. But he said it's a good number and not to be worried. My U/S is the 19th at 11:15. What do you ladies think...sound like a solid number to ya'll?

Dreams - Maybe because you were so high with the first beta it is just evening itself out....

Easley - YAY on the BFP!!!!!

Always - rest, rest, rest. 42 eggs is a lot! I had 59, 39 fertilized. I got OHSS and could not have a fresh transfer. Can't wait to hear fert report.

AFM - You guessed it, BFP!!!!!!! Beta was 252!! They said they only need to see it above 50 this early and I am 5 times that! She said that is excellent! More blood work Thursday (we only do two draws), U/S will be 7/22.

Akdelp-Congrats! This is my 2nd fresh cycle last time different clinic 53 eggs and severe ohss as I was at 12000! But I still did transfer despite getting sick minutes before the transfer...hense why I changed clinics!!

Wndrgrl, words cannot express how sorry I am for you and your loss. I know all too well the crushing feeling to have it and then lose it before it was really yours. Where there is a will there is a way. Give yourself time to heal and everything will work out. God works in mysterious ways.

Dreams, I know it's hard not to worry but it can be perfectly normal for your beta not to quite double at this point. You are in my prayers, don't lose hope! I have a feeling everything is just fine.

AFM, got the call today and it's a BFP!!! Beta this morning was 151, which he said is great considering how early we are (8DPT). I have another one Thursday morning to ensure it is doubling and then the u/s right about the 26th. Thank you for the prayers, they worked!
