I am happy for you! ...I saw that episode of Scrubs and I know how it felt...we need to be strong and don’t loose faith and so IT will happen for us too. No matter how hard can that be we need to keep believing in miracles and miracles are going to happen for us too! I see your BFP on the horizon honey! keep up that PMA of yours!

Wishingandhoping- Looks like your FET is going to happen around the same time when my ET is going to happen! I am crossing my fingers for you girl! We are getting a BFP this time!

Blueeyedreamer- I really hope you get the answers you are looking for on your appt on the 12th. ...about tests, is good to have them! You might learn something or you might find out everything is normal! I wish you that! Good luck with everything!

Rypell- I am so glad you are feeling better now!!! You too are almost there!! How exciting! I wish you too the easiest delivery ever!!! ...you doing a C-section or are you having a natural? If it’s a natural, may they both come out with a push!!

Lou- I saw your pic and you look fabulous!! Love that baby bump!!! So cute!...as always!

Leora- So glad your boys are doing ok! And you are out of the risk! ...May you have an uneventful pregnancy from now on!!! I sent positive sticky vibes to you!!! ...btw, its damn HOT here too!!! OMG!! I had my “last” pool splashing fun this weekend and I really enjoyed it! ...and I say my last b/c my 7th cycle begins today! I start my shots (Fostimon and Menoral) tonight and nurse advised me not to do a lot of exposing to the sun while taking hormones. is no good....hmm....and I am a pool/beach girl...huge fan of the sun!! I guess I'll leave with that whatever it takes!

...There is a lot of activity in the delivery room of the Pregnant after treatment board so I want to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all the mommies and their newborns!!! You ladies are the reason we/I still on the IVF rollercoaster!!!! Well done!!! You did it mamas!!!! I sent you my love and Xxxxx


AFM- Good news girls! Our “Peripheral Chromosome test” came back NORMAL!!! Yay! and I am starting my protocol tonight!!!!! I bought the first meds 9for the next 3 days) this morning from the pharmacy and went to the clinic to get free needles from my nurse. The RE is on a medical conference abroad so it was a bit quite there...my fav nurse made me cold lemonade (34c degrees outside!) then her and one of the embryologists had their break with me...so nice of them...so i got the chance and asked them a couple of questions for this cycle I am starting etc. I asked about this CGH (PGD – Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis) thing we are planning on doing this time...I really hope embryos are OK after that and we end up with a BFP this time! I really really wish that! There are so many things to wait for this time and it can be very stressful...as you all know....I hope I produce enough eggs this time so that we have more chances of freezing some too. Last time I had 7 fertilized...if I remember well...which is not bad and the embryologist told me that anything above 5 is good to have so that they can proceed with the CGH. The more the better! So, I am starting tonight with 150 I.U of Fostimon (I think u call it Follistim in the US) and 75 I.U of Menoral for three days, until Friday that is and on Saturday morning I am going for an U/S to see what’s cooking...Last cycle I did the Antagonist Protocol it took 10 days (10th day is the trigger) and then on the 12th day I had the ER and then on the 5dpo I had the ET. So if all goes the same, this time I will have the trigger on the 15th July and ER on the 17th (Sunday! I don’t know if they do ET on a Sunday! ...) If not I guess I will trigger on Saturday 16th July and have the ER on Monday 18th and then (HOPEFULLY) if everything goes OK I will have the ET on Saturday 23rd July! God please make everything be alright and all embryos are normal and make it to blastocycst!. We really need this time to work girls! Otherwise, God forbids, and CGH shows that embryos are not OK then we need to consider egg donor or something...even though my eggs never showed problem the RE and also the nurse and embryologist today told me that if embryos are not ok (the CGH will show if my eggs are ok or not, quality wise) they say that the eggs are the ones most of the time that are to blame for not implantation so they suggested if we don’t get good results to consider egg donor. I have no problem with that but I need to convince my DH to go with it as he is not in favour ...If this time comes (I hope not!!) I am going to have a lot of work to do on that! Anyhow, I am positive about this time girls! 7 after all is my lucky number! And who knows, end of the month I might get my BFP!!!! I got a bronze suntan and nurse told me today that now that I am starting my shots I shouldn’t do anymore sunbathing and what colour I’ve got that’s it for me ....we are going to visit some friends on their beach house this weekend and that means I am going to glue myself under that umbrella!! but It’s all for a good cause I guess!....the bad thing is No sound of our puppy “Happy” yet ...i received a call from a little girl last night at 21:00 saying that her grandpa saw a dog that kinda looks like Happy and so DH and I took the car and drove around that area for an hr hopping we might find her but no luck...I bet we sounded like crazy while shouting "Happy", "Happy" everywhere all the time! DH told me to wait a couple of weeks and then we need to get use to the idea that she is not coming back. I can’t do that! It hurts! I want to believe that we will find her! I put her pic on every kiosk door and bakery door in the area! Someone might see her somewhere! right?!...I am cooking a gourme dinner tonight for DH to celebrate the beginning of our 7th IVF attepmt and we will drink some wine and make a toast may we get a BFP this time and become parents... finally!

OMG!!! I talk/write too much!!!!!! Sorry ladies! I had time to spare and got carried away...

Anton...I just love you colorful and spirited posts! I've been keeping Happy in my prayers. Here's a story to give you some hope... My aunt's chihuahua got loose right before a huge blizzard hit this winter. She was sure she had lost her. Well after the blizzard and a week of searching, someone saw the flyer and had been taking care of Gracie through the storm. She is now home with my aunt!

I'm so excited that you are ready to start again and I will be stalking for your good news

The plan is to deliver the twins vaginally. Baby A (Dylan) is head down, actually already trying to make his way into the birthcanal! My OB says as long as he stays head down then we will go vaginally. My little girl, Bella in breech, but he says he can turn her once the other baby is out! Thanks for always checking in on us...can't wait for you to join us!!!

Rypell- Oh my! you are so brave my friend! I am also in favour of natural births! If and when I get to that I will shurely go for a natural! Sounds like your RE knows what he is doing so I wouldn't be afraid of anything if I were you!

btw I am also a big fun of Breastfeeding! Are you planning on breastfeed? I have read a lot of stuff about it and I believe that besides that breastfeeding is a part of the whole motherhood thing/procedure that includes the pregnancy natural labour, breastfeeding creates a stronger bond between the mother and the baby in your case babies you should consider doing that if not already planning to. You cannot believe the nutritions and antibodies a baby gets from breastfeeding. there was this story on the tv one day where there was this woman that went through several IVF's with no luck conciving so she gave up IVF and proceeded with adoption. So she found this girl that was pregnant and too young to keep it so they made a "deal" to give the baby to this woman. So this woman wanted to be part/closer of this baby as much as possible and so besides being in the delivery room while the baby was delivering she took some hormones a couple of months prior to birth so that she produced milk and right on time the baby was born and she breastfeed it for a month. She said it was the best part of life and that bonded her with that baby as if it was her own! So think about it!

My very best wishes for you and your babies! this time around next year you will at the beach with them making castles in the sand!

Anton...my plan is to attempt breastfeeding, or at the very least, pumping for the twins and supplementing if needed. I haven't bought a pump yet because Ive heard that sometimes women with PCOS have difficulty breastfeeding. I want to make sure it works for me and the twins before I spend the womeny on the pump!

Anton - YAAAY for starting the stims tonight, it seems that we're gonna be twin cycle bodies this month since i'll be starting mine tomorrow night, i'll be on antagonist protocol also and 5 days transfer but will not do the PGD , i'll be praying everyday for both of us i promise, and hopefully the end of the month or the 1st week of august we'll be getting our BFPs
i also did a lot of sunbathing and had a bronze tan and i was thinking if i should stop it once i start my protocol so thank u for sharing what ur nurse told u about not doing it.... coz i was wondering about it.

AFM: Well... FET just two days away... working trying to set everything up to be on bed rest for four days... not on my RE's recommendation but on mine... decided to try anything this time!!!... my behind is purple and painful from the PIO shots... have two huge bumps ... my RE says it's normal... I don't remember them being this big... but I'll do whatever it takes...

Anton: Thank you so much for always adding so much color and positive words to the board. I LOVE your positive spirit and your warm and loving personality. I do hope Happy comes home soon. I have a dog (Sarge- German Shepherd) and I would be devisted if he were to ever go missing.

To all the ladies that are stimming, waiting for AF or in between...baby dust to all! I know this summer will be the one where we are all celebrating motherhood!

AFM: Still in my 2ww and it is driving me insane. I try my best not to think too much about it but I just cannot help it. I haven't taken an hpt but I am so tempted to tomorrrow as it will be 7dp5dt but I do have my BETA scheduled for Saturday morning...so we will see. I am so thankful for this board and all of you ladies. We have a "secret society" that no one fully understands until you are exactly where we are. My first fresh ivf cycle was very lonely as DH did not know what to say or do and I cannot blame him. I have had such a positive outlook since I found this board and I am so thankful for all of you!

Hi ladies,

It is so wonderful to read about all the BFPs!!!!!! I just love reading those.

I'm feeling yuck much of the day, which I'm thankful for because that tells me things are going well. My backside is so bruised and sore from PIO. I did get my weaning plan from IVF nurse yesterday. I stay on PIO until 8/4 but around 7/21 I go to EOD. I'll be very glad for that.

Hugs to those that got a BFN. I'm so very sorry. This IVF road is by no means fair.

Afm-Ok ladies fert report is in.....41 eggs...30 mature....17 fertilized....I was soo excited until I looked back at my records to see last time...53 eggs ...41 mature....20 fert....7 survived....but has severe ohss....I'm just worried number are not that different....I thought it was better numbers this time but I guess not. What are the survival chances for the 17????
