Amanda - Maribel is gorgeous and the 3 of you are glowing! I love it that you indulged us with pictures so quickly! THank you!!!! I wish you a speedy c-sec recovery and a wonderful time with Maribel, sorry about her needing a little help, our son needed a little help too but he was super fine after that as will Maribel! Congratulations!

Sonya - what a handsome boy! Gorgeous and love the hair! I am glad you had a good labor and everything went well! Can't wait for more baby updates!

Annas - way to sport that bump! You look gorgeous! Great news on the cerivx!

Margi where is an updated bump pic? :)

Happy Bunny - we totally understand but we need our baby fix so we will wait but post pics of your gorgeous girl when you can! Being a mom is the most amazing thing!

Karian - how is baby girl growing, glad you are eating well!

Ryann - glad to hear the babies are staying put!

Blair I know you went through the same thing and it is hard to see the baby and measure it US after US but I am very grateful for my healthy girl, Wow it will be odd knowing what Baby C would have been. THe good part is pretty soon the other babies will be so big that there won't be such a reminder, s/he will live in your heart forever though :)

Stephanie - are those gorgeous babies letting you sleep?

Lou - awesome baby bump you got there girl!

Oh my I just looked at the list and I am next, so no one jump in front of me and let's wait a couple of weeks, deal? ;) let's bake those babies to perfection like our friends!!!

Rio-So exciting that you will be next to go. It’s a little weird thinking that I would be right along there with you had I not miscarried in Dec but I know everything happened for a reason and now I am going to have 2 little ones. I cant wait to see pics of your little girl soon!!

Sonya- What a handsome little man you have there. I love the up close pic!! Glad you had a smooth and easy labor- I think we are all hoping to follow in your path in that sense.

Crissy- Long time no talk. Hope you are doing well.

Alisa- I do feel better and have had less of whatever the pain was. As for the Lovenox both the MFM, OB, and DH have all read the most recent studies that show treatment of MTHFR with Lovenox is no longer standard. They all agreed that if necessary it would be at the very beginning of the pregnancy when my body could potentially clot of the babies growth, but now that they are bigger its not necessary. With all that being said I think I have decided to start coming off of it around 20 wks. I would drag my feet more but since it cost $335 for a 10 day supply yday I think I can come to terms with it eventually. When do you go back to the MD?? I cant wait to see a new US pic of your little one.

Margi- I will have to look into photobucket. I guess now I can wait for tomorrow and post a 16 wk bump pic, so hopefully I can figure it out before then. Im so glad your increased activity is going well. Good luck at the OB today. As for the sleep…Ive always heard that you don’t sleep well during the pregnancy to prepare your body for whats to come.

Kjm- Thanks for your comments. I did talk with the OB who said she thought it was normal pains associated with pregnancy especially since I was smaller and have 2.

Amanda- What a beautiful baby girl!!!! Maribel is adorable and I love the family photo. Sorry they had to take her to the NICU but hopefuly shes already doing better and back with you.

Anna- Glad your cervix check went great! Also glad OB is going ahead with steroids in case Paul decides to come anyway.

crap i just lost my post.
oh well will be short this time. congrats to sonya and Amanda. those babies are just gorgeous. want to hold them tight for you. Enjoy mamas they say those babies grow to fast for words.
Rio- dont worry you will be next.
Margi- hope you will be cleared for light duty and soon you will be behind your desk.
Lou- go girl all that energy. i envy you.'
Blair- i hear you on the loss thing. any little thing to remind you brings but memories. but just know that is an angel watching over you.
SOrry ladies i missed many of you. but i read to keep up with everyone even if i have been mia for a minute. i just dint have anything to say.]
AFM i finally go to the Obg this friday. the crazy thing is i have to take the glucose test. Really why this early? i was told coz of my age.anyone over 35yrs at my clinic has to take it at 12 weeks. oh well am so scared i will fail it coz i have a sweet tooth lately. i was never a sweets person but now that is all i want. i try to limit myself but lol. i guess that was my trade of for not having morning sickness. i hope i get an ultrasound. am going to insist on one.

OMG!!!
Beautiful babies!... I can't believe it!... It getting so close.

Amanda: Maribel is gorgeous!... I'll be praying so she can be out of the NICU ASAP!.

Sonya: He is adorable!...I'm so glad you had an uneventful delivery! Congratulations!

Rio: That was the same thing that went through my mind..... you are next!... but take your time and bake that baby to well done! thanks for keeping the list up to date... I love it!... It makes it so much more real!.

Blair: I'm also on lovenox, although I get the generic brand Enoxaparin Sodium which is a lot less expensive. Maybe you can find out if it will be cheaper for you.

Margi: 9 more weeks to go!... I also had trouble sleeping at 20 weeks, but thankfully I started sleeping better after a week or so.... Maybe is something related to knowing that your are half way there... I remember I was sleeping good until I read on the book (What to expect when you are expecting) that at 20 weeks you could start having sleeping issues... and that same night I couldn't sleep..... Since then I don't read the book until AFTER the week is done... I think my subconscious takes the book too serious!.

AFM: The fluid was a little low on my last US (yesterday). They said to drink more water, so now I'm eating, and drinking plenty of water. Thankfully everything else is good. Can't wait for her new measurement next week.
I'm still a little in denial... I can't believe this is really happening! It took us so long to finally be here and now that we are it seems incredible!. I'm so happy for all of us to finally be having our little ones.

Congrats to all to new mommas!... Cant wait to join you!.

Mellow -- Marlo is just precious! Thanks for the update. I'm so glad she is doing well.

Leora -- Never been to a concert? Whoa... that is strange to me. You need to go! Who would you see if you could see any artist?

KJM-- The concert was a blast! So glad the 3 hr glucose test went well for you.

Rio -- I thought of telling her that, honestly! She hasn't RSVP'd to mine yet, but I did to hers. Love the pics! Are you next my friend?

Blissful -- Cute what your DH said about wanting a boy.

Ryann -- How are you doing? Still baking?

Annashope-- Yay for a great cervix measurement!!!

Amanda -- Thanks! I am still playing tennis for now. Congrats on Maribels arrival! Glad all is well.

Karian-- Almost there! 9 weeks will go by fast.

Margi -- Thanks! I love my bump too. I see you're at 20 weeks now... that's AWESOME!

Sonya -- A 4th of July baby! Welcome Brogan! He's amazing.

SD -- My bump is tiny???? I feel so BIG! LOL

AFM -- Should I be concerned that I don't feel my baby move a lot? I mean... she gets active at night when I get into bed and if I were to count kicks, then there would be 20+ in a half hour. My doc says not to count kicks until 28 weeks but other sources on the internet said you can start at 24-26 weeks. What do you all think? I use my doppler and can hear her moving and often the doppler makes her move so I feel it. I am thinking I just can't feel EVERY movement at this point. Her heartrate is typically 145-153 bpm with occasional drops to 138-140 and accelerations to 155-158. It's probably my paranoia but I need reassurance. Anyone? I just had an appt last week and all was well. I'm leaving for San Francisco tomorrow and will be back on Sunday night. Just visiting a friend. :D I'll read along from my phone but might not be able to post much until I'm back at a computer.

Sonya and Amanda - CONGRATS! wow... we have a bunch of good looking babies on this board! :D Hopefully those born later in 2011 will be just as adorable!

Anna - looking great! SUCH good news about your cervix. Seems bed rest is helping. Just a few more weeks!

Blair - I was thinking that you lost one of the identicals, so when you find out baby B's sex, you'll also learn what baby C was. That's kinda bittersweet. Big hugs honey. Also - stores around here are REALLY not stocked for twins! Most have 50+ single strollers, but only 5 or so double strollers. Weird. Good luck stopping the Lovenox (don't people usually take it all the way until delivery? I'm not sure. My doctor offered to put me on Lovenox because of my history of loss, but since my losses were all different and I have no signs of a clotting problem, we skipped it).

Barbara - you are so sweet. It's so nice to hear that you are enjoying being a mom.... keeps me going even with the heartburn and other icky side-effects that in the end, I'm going to finally be a mommy too

Margi - 20 weeks! Congrats! More than 1/2 done! --- I have issues sleeping too. I'm finding it really hard to get comfortable - and it doesn't help that I wake up to pee and then have to get comfortable again. For the first time ever, DH is falling asleep before I am (I usually fall asleep super fast).

Rio - yup! You are next! :D And your belly pictures look great - I love the way you 'decorated' for the Fourth of July! As for me and bathing suits while pregnant - I tell people that if I would normally wear a bikini, I would wear one while pregnant. Since I don't wear a bikini while not pregnant, I'm not starting now! You look amazing though!

SD - we are both sooo close to viability. Of course, I know that I do NOT want these babies born at 24 weeks (my personal goal is closer to 30 at least!), but last time we only lost them becuase they were born too soon (both were perfectly healthy). So it is SUCH a relief to be getting closer and closer to that milestone. Less than 2 weeks away (hmm.... seems like every single thing with the TTC and pregnancy has a "2 week wait"!)

nwquiz - I've heard of people taking the Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) at all different stages, depending onwhat their risk factor is. For people who are super low risk (carrying a singleton, younger, average weight, no history of diabetes, etc) - the 1hr test at 24-28 weeks is good. For people who are higher risk for many reasons, doctors do it earlier. I haven't had mine yet, which is surprising to me (I'm carrying twins, I'm PCO and insulin resistant).

Karian - I hope everything is okay! Low fluid can be fine... at least they are monitoring you closely!

Lou - I don't know who I would see in concert. I've been really into pop/country for a few years now. I'd love to see Brad Paisley or Carrie Underwood or the Dixie Chicks. But there are also artists whose music I don't necessarily love, but would probably put on GREAT shows - like Lady Gaga. Elton John would be a dream come true, but I don't think he tours anymore.

AFM - Anatomy scan tomorrow! I'm trying not to be nervous and just excited. I'm off to bed now.... so let's see how well I sleep!

hey ladies, quick question for ya! i have tried to use my home dopplar to hear my twins hb's, but no such luck yet. i am 12wk1day and i only find my own hb. i have noticed that i sometimes hear a "swooshing" sound. has anyone else had this noise? could it be my little ones swimming around??

So funny you mention that Dallas. I went to the doctor today and they tried to listen with the Doppler. It was too early for a heartbeat unfortunately, but we definitely heard a kick! You can certainly hear movement. Not sure about swooshing though. I'm interested in what the other ladies have to say. Naturally I did research when I got home though and lots of ladies reported being able to hear the babies moving around.

Have a great, exciting day tomorrow Leora!

Margi - Good luck at your OB appt. Hope you get an US and a measurement but I am so happy you are able to do more. Hurray for making the half way mark!!!

Sonya - Brogan is so ADORABLE!!!!! Congrats! So glad you had a good delivery and all are healthy!!

Rio - I guess you are next in line. I agree, hopefully everyone stays where they are and you lead out the next bunch of babies to be born.

Blair - You will notice (if like me) that you will have times (days, weeks) where you get more round ligament pain - lower on the sides - and stretching as you grow. It will then subside only to return when you hit your next growing phase. Hope you are feeling better.

nwquiz - I did fail my 1 hour but passed the 3 hour. I was actually glad because I learn how to eat a little better. The ladies on this board have some great advise and diet plans if you do fail - it is not that bad.

Leora - Good luck with your anatomy scan - it will be great. I hope you are sleeping!

Lou - I think if you stay busy - like I think you do, you just don't notice the movement as much. I know when I am at work, if I am busy i dont feel them move but as soon as I sit for a little bit my belly is wiggling all over the place. Sounds like she has a great heartbeat so I wouldn't worry. Have fun on your trip, again!!!

Karian - Drink your water!!! I hope your next US is normal and the fluid comes back up.

Ryann - Hope you are doing good and resting. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

AFM - I have to start taking 2 iron pills a day now. Is it colace that is safe to take? I think that I should start taking something cause taking 2 is really going to mess me up. Has anyone else had their iron levels drop even when on additional iron? Good news is that I have my 4D ultrasound on 7-20.

Dallas- the swooshing sound on the doppler is likely the placenta. Could also be movement too.

Kjm- thanks for the reassurance.

SD- I hadn't heard that about ab muscles, interesting. Thanks.

OMG, I have missed SO much!! Barbara, Amanda, Sonya, and Mellow, what pretty and gorgeous babies you have!! I just LOVED looking at all those pictures! Keep 'em coming, ladies!

Not much time to post, but wanted to let everyone know that the drive to TX went smoothly. The gruesome 28-hour drive ended in 2 days for us. Drove 14 hours each day with 4 hours of sleep in between. I had pretty bad swelling in my feet after the drive, but it calmed down after 2 days. I've been sleeping on a damn air mattress until our stuff arrives on the truck this Friday. My lower back is killing me, but other than that, I'm loving TX already (except the heat!!)! I have my commencement ceremony this Saturday in Dallas! I just got my final grade today and I'm graduating with a 3.94 GPA! Pretty damn excited! :) Oh, and hubby and I got LOADS of stuff in the mail today from Amazon so we already started putting the nursery together. I believe we get the crib delivered tomorrow, so that's next on the agenda. We got the crib mattress delivered today and I was shocked at how huge it was! For a second, we thought we ordered the wrong size, lol. Other than missing my family loads already, I think I'm liking being out here. :)

I have a lot of catching up to do. Will try to catch up as soon as I get a chance to be on the computer for longer than 5 mins! Take care, ladies!

Hi ladies - I know I still have a million things to read to catch up on personals so forgive me for being brief.

Sonya - Congrats on the birth of Brogan!! I can't see the pic here (the hospital blocks photobucket & other photo sharing websites) so I can't wait to see his pic when I get home. Sounds like you had a wonderful labor & delivery though! Woo-hoo!!

Leora - Good luck with your anatomy scan today! I know it's going to go great!

Ashley - Nice GPA and excellent news that you made it to TX after a smooth trip!

Kelley - Yes, my MFM had me take Colace during my pregnancy if I was constipated.

Annashope - YAY for an awesome cervix check! That's what I love to read!

Everyone - Thank you all so much for the thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and congratulations! I appreciate it all so much! Maribel and I are doing really well. She's still in the NICU, but since 10am Wednesday she's been off the oxygen and is breathing on her own. I was also able to start breastfeeding her again at that time (they'd stopped feedings because she was having a hard time breathing through her nose which makes it really hard to eat) so that was welcome news too. They're keeping her in the NICU until they ween her off the IV fluids - I'm hoping she'll be back in my later room today, but you never know. Also starting yesterday morning I got my catheter out so I could now walk down to see her. So my days are filled with 3 hour cycles - walk to the NICU to feed her and snuggle for about an hour, walk the halls for a bit to help with my incision recovery, go back to my room to eat/drink/take painkillers, and nap for about an hour. Then just keep repeating the cycle all day & night. For some reason on this latest cycle I had too much energy for the nap portion so I figured I'd jump on here and catch you all up. :D Again, the hospital blocks photobucket so I'll have to just attach a photo, but here is one more of Maribel from her birthday after her bath & hair styling (courtesy of the nurse.)
