Ashley- So glad to hear that the drive went well and you are safe and sound in TX. Sounds like a very very long 2 days though. Congrats on the great GPA!!! So exciting that you get to start putting the nursery together now.

Kjm- Yea I must have been growing this past wknd because it lasted so long. I haven’t had it again lately (with the exception of a sharp pain in the same spot if I flip over too quickly in bed). Of course when it happens its not that comfortable so I end up making some weird painful noise and DH freaks out thinking something is wrong..I just have to reassure him I moved too fast. I know with the constipation Docusate is ok to take so hopefully it helps balance the extra iron. That 4D is right around the corner!!

Leora- With the lovenox it was only the Reproductive Endocrinologist who insisted on starting the meds and it was because I had a chemical and then tested homozygous for MTHFR. Both the Maternal Fetal MD and my regular OB have assured me that they are up to date in their reading with this issue and that even though Lovenox was originally used to treat MTHFR, there are no studies showing it actually does anything. They agreed that if I was going to be on it then its best at the beginning when my body could clot off the babies..but at this point they don’t think its necessary and think I could switch over to Baby Aspirin. Who knows….at this point its just a mental thing with me thinking I will go off and something bad will happen. Good luck at the anatomy scan!!!

Karian- That cost was actually for the generic. Right now I have to pay 100% out of pocket since my plan year switches over on July 1. After I meet the deductible I will only pay 10% which is a lot cheaper. So its just a lot of money for right now.

Lou- Im sure the MD would tell you if you needed to be concerned by her kicks. Sounds to me like she is just a night owl and likes to rest during the day. Have fun in San Fran!

AFM- 16 wks…woo hoo. Im already loving the comments I get from family and people I work with. Someone yday told me that I was a lot bigger than another girl who is due Oct 31. I asked if she was having twins and said well ok then..really no need to compare. Im already anxious for the apt next Wed. I think even more so since I know we will be finding out the genders for sure. Soooo exciting. I cant wait to find out and figure out what we want to register for.

Anatomy scan was great! Definitely 2 boys and both look great and healthy.

I have to do a fetal echo also in a few weeks since they couldn't see their hearts well enough and I take an SSRI (anti-depressant). So I have to schedule that.

The doctor doing the scan was a little rude. To him, this was very routine. He didn't feel the need to show us everything. The whole scan was super fast - 30min total. He checked things off a checklist without showing them to us (eye-sockets - check. lips - check. nasal bone - check. 2 arms - check. 2 legs - check. etc etc)

Growth is right on track - one is measuring 22w4d and the other 23w1d. I'm 22w2d today, so a bit ahead, but that's fine.

I'll scan pictures later, but we didn't get any good ones. He didn't take profile pictures, or little hands/feet, or any 3D pictures

At least all is healthy though!

Leora -- I'm really glad your scan went great and you got verification that it is indeed two boys! Now you can go crazy buying two of everything blue. How fun.

SweetPea -- I got a Sonoline B 3 mhz from ebay for about $60. I love it. It came highly recommended from other girls on this site.

AFM -- Leaving for the airport in two hours! I did call my docs office and they haven't called back. I wanted some reassurance about my babies movement. Although I did get about 10 kicks today between 7:30 and 9:30AM. Her heartbeat is good and is in the 140's with some flucutations down to 130's and up into the 150's. I'm hoping all is well. Why do I worry so?

Lou-Hope he calls you soon. I hear you on the worrying. I'm constantly worrying. It's like I keep thinking something bad is going to happen because I'm still in shock I'm pregnant. It does sound like the baby is fine. 10 kicks in a short period is sounds really good. Have safe trip.

I went to my OB and had a NST and an u/s to check fluid level, blood flow, and movement. Thank God all was well! I'm in the taxi on my way to O' hare airport now. I'll be in SF in about 6 hours.

Amanda - love the pic of your gorgeous girl, how is your pain level walking around? Glad she is feeding and doing well, she will be out of the NICU in no time!

Lou - glad baby girl is fine, I didn't feel a ton of movement either until later in the pregnancy but it is alwasy good to check if you are worried! Have fun in SF! Keep your feet up so you don't swell up!

Leora - sorry the doc was rude but what great news!!! Snips and snails and puppy dog tails in double! My boy is such a mommy's boy and I am so happy you will have that in double! The scary week is almost over and you can breathe a little easier!

Blair- what is MTHFR? I guess I should know but I don't... I think you are getting one of each flavor!

Hope - glad the move went well and you are getting the nursery ready, are you buying a place there or renting for now? I would love to hear more about your thoughts on the move as you live there longer!

Kjm - I am doing colace 100, 2 x a day to help ,can't wait to see pics of your US!

Argh the pup just chewed up another baby toy, I tell you, furry toddlers! I am off of work now but feel like I do more work at home than at work! I put together the bassinet and washed everything, argh who makes baby things that should be hand washed and line dried???? What the heck? So I am busy cleaning everything that was in storage, toys, blankets, and everything else. My Dh tells me I am going crazy nesting but if I don't do it it doesn't get done! Boys, the baby fairy is here getting everything ready for baby!!!! Today I take DS to watch Cars 2 so I am excited, I feel terrible still taking him to daycare while I am home but otherwise I would get nothing done! I have been laying down quite a bit. yesterday my ligament pains were so bad I could have sowrn that someone pulled my leg out of my hip! I went to my 2 minute OB appt, so uneventful - not even a cervix check and he said she is definitely head down and ready for the finish line... well, that doesn't help me much... I hope she can hold off to the 26th but sometimes I don't think we will make it! I am very excited to meet her and DS has been saying such funny things, I love it. He loves to go mess with her toys and then tells his daddy to fix this toy or that toy cause it needs a new battery for baby sister. He puts his head to my belly and hears her hiccups and loves the tickle in his ears! Alright back to the grind Oh and you ladies are the best, thanks for the nice comments on my belly, I feel so huge and blobby it is nice to hear compliments from my fellow preggers!!!!!

Rio...I'm trying! DH's brother is getting married in 10 days and I really just want to get to the wedding and then they come if they have to. Our families are close so my whole family will be at the wedding as guests as well as DH's obviously as hosts and DH is the best man, so if I were to go into labor I would be stealing at least my parents from their wedding!SO Dylan and Bella know they can't come until at the 17th! I sure hope you beat me to the finish line though!

Lou...So glad you got the reassurance you needed before flying out! Have a great time! I believe you had asked where I'm delivery and we will be at Hinsdale Hospital, How about you?

AFM...I've started to swell pretty bad in my feet so my new bedrest rule is feet raised! I have a doc appt tomorrow and I'm anxious to see if I've made any progress and we have our final US before the arrive! Nursery is complete so I'm gonna add a few pics!

Have a couple minutes between feedings... My sons have strayed from their "routine" and are eating every 2 hours... but staggered an hour apart. So today's been about half an hour break between when one finishes and the other wakes up to eat. Just when I think we're getting in a groove! LOL!

Ryann - Glad to hear you and your babes are hanging in there! Their nursery is GORGEOUS! Hope they don't get to see it for some time though... Keep 'em baking, Momma!

Leora... that will be you soon... two little boys! As a mom of four boys... they are AWESOME! Boys are so much fun. I can't believe you are already 22+ weeks... I know it seems like forever, but I can't believe how fast time has gone by. You must be so excited!

Margi... congrats on one of each and a clear scan... that is amazing... and you did it with your own eggs at 43! Kudos to you!

Ryan... I know you probably feel huge, but hunny... you look tiny at 33 weeks carrying twins! Now I know why people always thought I was carrying twins... I looked full term at 7 months with just one baby! LOL I bet you'll be in a bikini 6 weeks after they are born!

Lou... you look great and so happy you feel great... that is one lucky little girl!

Amanda... WOOHOO... We were pregnant together back in '09 for such a short time - I remember when we got our bfps I think on the same day. I wish I could have been a baby bump buddy with you this time... but I will live vicariously through you, new mommy! Conratulations!

Sorry if I missed anyone... you are a bunch of lucky ladies! I just celebrated a birthday and wedding anniversary yesterday. I have become content with moving on. I would welcome a surprise bundle, but I am no longer holding my breath for it. Taking life as it come. Enjoy those little ones!
