Thanks Moorebaby for updating the board for everyone. I go in for b/w to check my levels on 7/26, second day of cycle but surprisingly NO birth control pills, this time yay! Need to find out exactly when the follistim starts, I might even call them tomorrow to go ahead and find out-- since I would whether wait till the week before I'll need them to order those expensive meds. :)

Nancy - I feel great! I am not really having anymore symptoms of anything. I am getting some brown spots on my face, that I think is due to the drugs. I hope it goes away! Thanks for all your support! :) Are you feeling sick still?

Moorebaby - Thanks for updating the board! This cycle is yours!! :D

Anton - Happy, happy, happy for you that you started your drugs! Sure wish Happy would come home. I would die if my Lucy (miniture beagle) ran away. Your posts make me HUNGRY!!!!! Jamie Oliver is the bomb! Love his accent!

Tryn - my RE and embrologist always said 5 day is optimal and the success rates are higher (I think there are so many variables). We only transfer 1 expanded blast and the embrologist was confident about transfer.

Easley - Well said!!!! :D Congrats on the beta! I am glad it went crazy!

Kbanks - I had OHSS and we canceled the transfer. I was almost severe and they said it will not get better until the 2nd trimester. Try to rest and drink lots of gartorade. They also told me that those of us who do overstim, usually get prego easy.....Which you did! :D I feel your pain sister! Hang in there, you'll have a wonderful outcome! :)

RMB - Congrats on all those heatbeats! God only gives us what we can handle. You are very blessed.

WeHaveHope - the ladies on this board are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll find lots of great support here.

Sorry about those I missed. My dog is demanding attention...good training as I see it for when we get a baby!
FET #1, #2 - M/C
FET #3 - @ 7 weeks
FET # 4 - Canceled. Hysoroscopy and DnC

Hi ladies, thanks for the support and encouragement regarding the OHSS. RE said today after the exam that it is moderate and should last about another 2 weeks. NOT to drink fluids unless I need to because it will only create more fluid in the ovaries and then in my abdomen and to stop taking my prenatals until it gets better because the high iron upsets the tummy (Regular vitamins will suffice). My lungs sound great so we aren't going to drain. He's been right so far, so I'm not questioning it. Today I feel a little better, but he said it can go up and down. ****REVISION*** 1st beta was NOT 151, it was 111 (I'll still take it though!). Today's beta came in just shy of tripling at 351, WOOHOO! I feel such relief now. My RE said he'd bet on twins but he's not puting money on it just incase  . Sorry for not doing personals right now but I have a raging headache and 2 papers due tonight. Congrats on the great betas easley and akdelp!!!

Anton- Good luck! I love reading your posts. You are like the rainbow of our board. So bright, cheery, and full of vibrance.

The BFPs sound promising and I'm sure all will be fine with our new soon to be mommy's.

AFM- I checked in with my surgeon and she also recommended removing my endometrioma before proceeding with another transfer. She said to wait a cycle because the pelvis is so hyped up from the drugs and the endometrioma may go away on its own. If it's still there in 6 weeks then we should talk about removing it. So that is two drs saying get rid of it vs my RE saying it doesn't matter. I'll take the advice of the nationally recognized endometriosis specialist over the RE. I haven't gotten the nerve up to call the Vegas dr yet. I've been in a bit of a funk the past few days. I think I'm good now and will call tomorrow to set up my call with the dr. I'm anxious about with the RE will say next week about the immune testing.

My dog Bella is getting spoiled from having me home for summer. I'm starting to pick up some work so she is going to have to deal with some alone time!

Happy Friday to all.

Hey blue just a quick word about surgery..

2 of my REs thought surgery is not good for egg quality and recommended that I should do it only if the symptoms are unbearable. I have done 3 surgeries due to severe symptoms and I think that might have affected my egg quality / reserve. I might be wrong. You can ask 1 or 2 more REs as they are the one who specializes in making babies. I had a surgeon who always recommended surgery. I think it also depends on the way they do surgery. You can ask them to be careful around the ovary area or something and not use laser to burn endometrioma as it will also damage eggs I believe( pls confirm with a doc)

Blue: I am so happy that you are starting to feel a little better. I do hope and pray that you will have your BFP with this next cycle. As for the surgery, I was advised by 3 different RE's that I should have the surgery. The short version of the bottom line was that the endo would interfere with my uterus absorbing the meds and lining properly. Also, stage 4 is the most severe and I was pretty much incapacitated for a few days every month because of it. Since yours is severe I would bet that they are advising on what is best for you. Having my surgery has made the AF cramps go from a 10+ to a 2 (no pain killers needed at all since the surgery). Good luck on whatever decision you make.

Jerseygirl - You have your beta tomorrow right?!? Sending you tons of BFP vibes :)

Anton - So happy to hear you have started your stims again! It's so great to get into the cycle because you constantly have something to look forward to. Your cooking sounds fabulous by the way! I need some of your cooking skills (it's a good thing my hubby does most of it around here) :P

Fruit - Also good luck on starting your stims! Time to get the ball rolling on this cycle and coming towards that BFP 8)

Blueeye - Best of luck with whatever you decide about the surgery. I know you will make the best decision for you and DH!

Kbanks - OHSS sounds so painful! I wish you a very speedy recovery with that and you have every reason to relax and take care of your bean(s) you have! :P

RMB - To hear 4 heartbeats must have been unreal!! I can't even imagine how I am going to feel when I hear my 1 (or possibly 2) but 4 is just incredible! I wish you 8 more months of an uneventful pregnancy :D

akdelp & easley - Congrats on some great 2nd beta numbers!! Next stop - ULTRASOUNDS!!

Moorebaby - Hope you are having a fabulous time in Canada and enjoying your time with DH! :D

AFM - Had my third beta and my first u/s today! The u/s was amazing even though all I could see was a little black dot that the nurse said was a gestational sack. She said it was about the size of half of a pencil eraser! She wasn't able to tell how many are in there yet due to the size and that they could be sitting right on top of eachother. I did get a nice picture to bring home which is great b/c DH is on a golf trip and couldn't make it :) So the nurse also said she would call with my results this afternoon but to not get to stressed about it not doubling in 48 hours last time as I had bloodwork done in 2 different locations which can screw up the results/doubling calculations. So I waited all afternoon and by 3:45 still had no phone call. I called the office to find out they close at 3:30 on Fridays so I called the other location that they have which does all the IVF procedures. They were still open and called the office for me and asked them to return a phone call. So the nurse called and apologized and said RE said my numbers looked good and therefore didn't need to call me. She couldnt remember what my beta was either :( So needless to say, I have the comfort that the RE said my numbers were fine, but have no beta till Monday when I call my office. I do have another appointment next Friday (7/15) for another u/s. By then they said they will be able to tell me how many bean(s) are in there!! :D HAPPY FRIDAY!!

Hi Everyone!
Sounds like our SummerBoard is moving right along, cannot wait until our next cycle which will be very soon! :D Today we got the boat back from the repair shop and decided to take it out. However after the second attempt it wouldn't crank and then it came a downpour! So we pulled the boat under a nearby bridge and a couple of strangers in the rain spent over two hours with my dh trying to figure out why it wouldn't crank. Still a mystery, but next time I've decided to let dh take it out on the water by himself b/c I'm thinking maybe it might crank without me.

Anton- Your cooking sounds fabulous! I also have rosemary growing outback and practically inhale it everytime I walk by the gazebo. It's so strong but I've been wanting to cook with rosemary. Once of my best friends used to make me an awesome dip using rosemary with cream cheese and after the 2nd day it's so fabulous on a ritz cracker. For seasoning meat, do you dry your rosemary out first before cooking with it?

JerseyGirl- Good luck with your beta!

BlueEye- Could there be a chance that the surgery might increase your chances of getting pregnant naturally? Regardless I would let the RE you trust perform the surgery so he will know the underlining factors and treat you in the very best light.

RMB- Very well blessed with four heartbeats! I cannot wait to hear you next progress report and see some ultrasound pictures too! :D

***CRASHING***

Anton: Yum--your menus always sound so delicious and make me hungry! So glad that you are on your way my friend!! Keep up your wonderful spirit, and know that you have lots of us praying in the wings for you.

Longtimerivf: Congrats on being PUPO!! Let those embies stick!!

Easley: Awesome betas!! And yes, it does go from one worry to the next, but in the end you will hold your baby and all the pain will disappear!! Peek over on the pregnant after treatment board--it is exploding with beautiful babies that will melt your heart. And all of these brave women have been through this journey.

Akdelp: Wonderful news on second beta!!

Amanda: Yeah!! You are starting on Monday! I have everything crossed that this is your cycle and you get lots of nice looking embies for later transfer!!

Kbanks: Sorry about the OHSS...I know how miserable it can be. Did your RE recommend Gatorade? Salty foods? Definitely take it easy.

Fruit: I know that change is sometimes hard, but sometimes it can be just what you need. Congrats on starting stim!

Ester: Gonal-F did the magic trick for me. ;-) I am sure it will be the lucky drug for you too. And yes, I think it is much easier to give.

This summer board is off to a terrific start!!! There are lots more BFP's on the way....
