Just got call back from re...2 day 6 blasts were frozen....not the number I was expecting.

I spoke with the DR today so I am hoping for a 5 day transfer. He is going to call me tomorrow with another report.

Anton - YAY for the great news, it seems that ur current RE is very nice, ur BFP is getting closer and closer and yes u r right maybe i should stop worrying and focus more on the BFP

Sunshine ( Christy) - u make me laugh, u & Anton, u naughty girls hahaha so i guess i must say hope u r enjoying ur afternoon

Alwaysangel - 2 frozen blasts are good, and for now don't worry about them and focus on ur little beans growing inside u and sticking to their mommy, ur BFP is on its way.

Wishingandhoping - hahaha u made me laugh, POAS addict, im sure one of them will give u those 2 dark lines very soon and good luck for friday, hope everything will be great.

Hello - This is my first time on this board it was recommended to me by a close friend. I'm 36 years old and attempting my first IUI, I am triggering tonight and procedure is Thursday morning. I am not familiar with all the acronyms yet so I might actually spell something out LOL. Anyway, I have 3 mature follicles and my lining is 11.6 all good things! I trigger with Ovidrel tonight. TTC for 2 years and found that I have multi-nodular thyroid disease that was causing hyperthyroidism with mild symptoms so I had no idea. My TSH is normal now. I had some low ovarian reserve but fairly normal for my age. Anyway I hope for a BFP after me 2ww. I am concerned about conceiving on medicine, but my endocrinologist assures me we will monitor and that it is safer than having a baby untreated. I enjoy learning from the women on the forum and find all the information so helpful. I hope to help and learn myself! Thanks for letting me share

Ok ladies.....Just finished dinner. So heres the story. I am starting STIMS tonight!!!!!!!!!!!! I am actually very nervous! kinda funny. We call it "baby season" in my house...my DH knows I get emotional and all crazy from the crazy juice they give me and we just laugh! I dont go back till saturday I am to continue my estrogen until thursday and start follistim and menopur today! Here we go...........

Brandy-WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! glad you joined us! Best of luck with your IUI...stay positive girl! This is an emotional rollercoaster and we all are here for you to vent and ask questions! Sounds like your numbers are good. Ive never done an IUI but close friends of mine have done them and both had BFP in the end...so theres hope

Anton- Glad to hear things are moving along! Can't wait to get our BFPs!!!

Brandy- Welcome! I had 4 IUIs before I moved to IVF. It is a fairly stress-free process...which is nice! I didn't have success, but I have plenty of friends that had very healthy babies from IUI. Good luck!

Lauren- I use Early Pregnancy Tests (I think it's Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com). The tests are $1.00 a piece for dip tests, and $1.95 for mid-stream. I think I ordered about 30 tests total, so I should have plenty! Can't wait to see those 2 lines!!!

Alwaysangel- 2 frozen blasts is great! There is always such a big drop-off when you go to blast stage. It is always a little discouraging, but don't worry...you aren't going to need them!

Welcome to the SummerBoard, where so many are getting a BFP this summer! I am so glad you joined us here as we go through this journey together. Yay on triggering tonight, the lining with 3 big follicles sounds really good! Will you guys be waiting 24 hours before the procedure is done? I've just recently changed REs and my new RE recommendation is for us to try 2 more IUIs before jumping back into IVF again. As you can see in my signature line we have been trying for a while, maybe sometimes all it takes is finding the right RE who can make the difference? One thing I love about this new clinic is the monitoring, it's done more frequently and they will do bloodwork for this upcoming cycle. My new RE couldn't believe that for my last IUI they did NO bloodwork. He told me they treat every IUI patient the same as an IVF patient with the routine of ultrasounds and bloodwork of at least 6 appointments per cycle. Plus he's going to check my ovarian reserve and thyroid. Told him I've always had trouble with being a little underweight all my life, everyone says it's probably r/t my metabolism but starting to believe it's something more. My last RE said as long as I ovulate every month like clockwork I shouldn't worry about being under the BMI but my new RE says we are going to check everything out. Anyway dh and I agreed the only inconvenience is the long commute to Gulf Breeze/Mobile, AL but I'm willing to travel the distance it takes to bring home a baby. Sorry for my rambling, most of all I wanted to tell you you are not alone in this journey and I really look forward to getting to know you! Sunshine1576

Lauren - YAY for begining the stims, ur BFP is right on its way. yes the ER is getting closer, i may still have 1 or 2 days of stims and i will know when the ER will be.

Sunshine - im underweight too, but it was never a problem since i always had and have regular period, and im always ovulating (said by all the RE and OB/GYN i asked)

AFM: i just came back from the RE office, the u/s showed endo. thickness 10mm and follicles between 14mm and 15mm, i did Estrogen blood test and waiting for the result to see how many days of stims i still have before the ER.

the nurse just called and said my E2 levels are 1546 and i should continue with the stim shots for 2 more days and then go for an u/s to fix the ER date.
do u think that my E2 levels are good at day 7 of stims or high??

Wishing-THANKS! was shopping the website. I used First response in the past but there so expensive and im not sure of the accuracy difference between the two but it seems like a good deal! 30...tests WOW how soon will you be testing and how often?? Thought I was an POAS addict LOL BFP's around the corner........

Fruit-Hey..My RE never reeally gives me numbers for E2 and all so Im not sure what they should be my the nurse told me people average 10 days of stimulation so your pretty close dont stress..........sure things are fine!!! Keep us posted!

AFM----ok so even though I didnt get AF and my lining was 9mm they said I most liekly will get one soon after starting stimulation but nothing...I have a gross brown discharge...sorry if thats TMI but its very scant amount. IDK girls....I started my stims and automatically got a headache! And im exhausted! maybe from my trip but just feel crappy! no energy....it was 100 degrees here yesterday! A few more days off for me guess im gonna go lounge on couch and watch some tv.....I made london broil for dinner last night and a breakfast caserole for breakfast...tonight is chicken and greenbeans w/rice! all i can do is cook and watch tv bc the heat makes me sick with my medicine! ttys

Sunshine absolutley have your new RE check your thyroid, hypo or hyper any fluctuation in TSH numbers can cause infertility! I never knew how much a thyroid, just a little thing in your neck, can effect everything. I have had so much blood work and ultrasounds in the last three weeks I feel like a pin cushion. I think it sounds like getting a new RE was a great move.

I am trying to stay positive it is just so easy to get worked up and the waiting is the worst. I know from just trying naturally for so long that every time my breasts got sore or a cramp felt different just hoping it was because I was pregnant so I'm sure I'll be a basket case the next two weeks.

Oh on a scary note, my husband is out of town flying home tonight to do IUI in morning. His flight got cancelled he is not on the last flight home at 9:00 pm tonight. We are doing fresh so I kinda need him to make it home!

So I pray that tomorrow at 10:00 am that a miracle happens.
