I had a 3day FET 10 days ago. Should I expect a HPT to be positive at this point? Why does it take longer for frozen embryos to implant? Thanks! Hope your vacation was wonderful.

I have heard some speculation that frozen embryos need a little time to recover, perhaps to replace damages cells. Or maybe it's something to do with the different uterus in an FET. Or maybe this effect of later implantation is not even real. I don't recall seeing published evidence of it, but I have heard statements about it from time to time.

Your HPT should be turning positive now or within the next few days. These things are all over the place. Some women get negative HPT on the day of their positive lab test (their "beta").
