ttc 9 years. 38 yrs old, dh 8 hrs younger!First IVF in Aug 2002 and had ectopic.2nd IVF neg.3rd FET and negative.4th FET and positive but sadly lost our little boy at 20 weeks.5th FET and Alice Isobel and Emily Charlotte born 5th Aug 2004!
excellent news about your scan, def not long to go - how scary is that!!!
Your next scan will be worse they (and me) could hardly make out anything at my last scan at 36 weeks, it was a jumble of limbs and not sure who.
Its strange how much it effects your legs and hips I think its often the strain of the extra weight and them lying on our bits and pieces, I still get quite a bit of 'bikini line grinding'
I am going to attempt my second shop on line, first one unsuccessful after sitting here for an hour, hopefully this one will be better. Have decided it might come in handy after the twins are born and it will take me all day to try and get dressed never mind attempt any shopping
rest up and take care, try and enjoy the tennis, if it ever stops raining that is.
Dear Tracey - I'm so glad the scan went well. I know you pop in on the "life afters" from time to time, and I pop in here too (and also to the babies loved and lost pages, which was such a good idea and invariably moves me to tears). Anyway, my reason for posting to you now is that I'm going away for a couple of months and by the time I return I hope that you will be home with your two precious daughters, and may have rather less time for posting than you have over the last couple of years! You're a wonderful friend and inspiration to so many people through these boards, and I know you'll be a wonderful Mum. I'll be thinking of you while I'm away, much love
great news about the scan going well, and how exciting that your little girls will be here very soon.
What will we do without you sticking your nose into everyone's threads! I found that when Dan was first born, I had loads of time to get on here because he was always asleep. It was as he got a bit older that I had less time to trawl the boards. Of course I did only have one baby though, so who knows how much time you'll have to check in with us all.
Anyway chick, glad all is well, and am really excited about your impending delivery, I think you'll make a truly lovely mommy.

ttc for almost 4 years, diagnosed as unexplained. Just about to begin treatment when we were lucky enough to concieve naturally. Our beautiful baby boy, Daniel, was born on 27 Sept 2003. Now expecting again, baby due 22 Aug 2005.
Top news Tracey, your babes sound like they are doing fine.
Not sure I agree we were robbed at the footie. I didn't think we played that well. Beckham in particular was rubbish! Can't be long before Tim goes the same way....... Enjoy this Wimbledon. It will be the last one you will be able to watch in piece until Alice and Emily are at school!!!!
Oh what lovely messages - and how nice to see my special friends from all over the place and different boards etc!
Lisa - online shopping - can do that - just give me a shout for tips
Alison - I will pop over to the life after again - don't like to keep thrusting myself on there if you know what I mean........... it's a special thread and I always keep an eye on you all. You are a special person Alison and have always been there for me - I am sure you will have a wonderful time away and I look forward to hearing your exploits when you return and we will swap stories if that's ok! I am sending you loads of love and hope you find peace and happiness and fulfilment of dreams in the future!
Sue - how lovely to hear from you - how is Dan? Keeping you on your toes? Can't wait to give you the news - seems such a short time ago you found out you were pg and now look! Massive hugs to you both.
Fiona - how right you are about the footie - Beckham did not play well all tournament really - shame about Roonie - I would like Portugal to win now! Hope Timmy does a bit better today = I nearly had them yesterday. Look after yourself and hope all well with you - your mother know yet?
Love

No, I haven't told her yet. I have my nuchal scan a week tomorrow so, all being well, I will tell her after that. Not looking forward to it at all. Supportive is not her middle name...
Have an awful feeling Tim will be beaten by Phillithingy this afternoon. Still, it's a win win- one is British, the other good looking! Don't watch if you fear the onset of premature labour.
Wish you luck with the mother thing - would just be nice if she was pleased............... here's hoping. You made me laugh about Tim - you do the phillything and I can do the pouissisthing!!! As long as it's not "push this"
Catch you later

Hi Tracey,
Just wanted to say i was very happy to hear all was well with the twins, it is such good news that they are developing so well that they already would hardly need the help from the hospital! (this is my new paranoia, with DP telling me evrey day that I have to keep them in longer!). I have to admit it's terribly exciting even thinking about you giving birth so soon - for you and the girls and dh, but oh god what are wel all going to do without you here I don't know!
I hope you are not too tired today and manage to get some sleep now and then (I am sleeping very badly at the moment and worried as i am 'only' 25 weeks, hope it's not like that till the end...)
love,
juliana
Thanks honey and try not to worry too much - have seen your scare stories thread so will read and reply to that after this. As for sleep I found it awful at 25 wks and then improved when I got extra cushions. I have a bump one each side so I don't have to keep taking one with me when I attempt to turn over and a pillow betweeen my legs. not sure where you are with cushions etc but try and fiddle around a bit - can't believe they don't put a chapter in the books on this!
As for worrying - DP is worried but I know you will do the best you can. Try not to think about it - I know I did and then stopped myself as worried they would come early etc. 25 wks means they have a 50% chance of survival but try and take each week as it comes. Rest when you need to and drink plenty of fluid and keep as mobile as you can. Think walking the dog has helped me but we are all different. Think of all the lovely twins we have had on here and how you will be one of these and push the horror stories to the back of your mind. Just shout if you need a kick or any support ok and I will see what I can do for you!
Am now an honourary Dutch supporter in the footie since England......... well won't go on about that.
TAke care

Hi Tracey, so glad your little girls are growing well and will be here soon. Don't forget to pop back in whenever you can. Can't imagine how I will cope without your sound advice.
