anton - im sorry that you are going through a hard time..i just wanted to tell you that, please don't lose hope about the slow growing embryos..this time all my embryos were slow growing, and we put back 3 4-cell embryos on day 3 and i got pregnant. i was never lucky with 8 cell perfect embryos...

may be you can put those 2 good looking embryos and 2 slow growing embryos back..i have a strong feeling that this cycle will work for you.

i will keep you in my prayers..

Anton- I'm sorry you have had such a stressful day. I have no idea how to advise you on the best decision. I'm glad that you have a good RE that you trust. I think you and DH need to talk it over and decide what makes the most sense for you. I am praying for you, and I agree with Sunshine. I have a good feeling that despite all of this stress, this cycle will work out for you!

Always- Congrats on a great beta!!!

Lauren and Amanda- Keep up the good work of growing those follies!

AFM- My progesterone this morning was 29, so everything looks good for Thursday transfer! I start my heparin tomorrow morning. Last day of work tomorrow, then I have time off until August 2 to let these little ones snuggle in and grow!!!

Anton- I'm so sorry you have such a difficult decision! I'm sure you'll make the best decision... Trust your intuition and your Dr... And most of all talk to your DH... I'm sure he's as nervous as you!!... In case it helps, my RE who's done a lot of research, has always told me that it has not been proven that testing embryos does not improve chances unless there is a precise reason to test... I will be praying for you and your embies so you can make the best decision and you'll get your BFP!!! Keep up the PMA we're all here for you!

Amanda- glad you're cycling and I love your plan!! Best of luck!!

AFM- Went to RE at 7am... It's a one hour drive... My behind looks so bad that his face was not a happy one and looked quite worried and disgusted... At one point had 5 people staring with disgusted faces at my behind and all wanted to see... No one had seen something this ugly!... Feeling better than yesterday, but worried because its a big infection... Praying for the best!
And now.... The beta number: 428!!!! Extremely excited!! Hoping he/they stay despite the nasty infection!...

AFM-Just hanging out...back to RE in am to see whats going on. I cant imagine im gonna trigger already. Ive never done it so soon! will see. Im not even sure the size they have to be to trigger lol....if not by thurs or friday im sure! I will be taking some more time off from work...not sure if I feel like explaining myself to my boss or just going on on family medical leave...I just hate everyone knowing my business at work especially since all I do is deliver babies! anyway im hungry gotta figure out dinner...hope my friend Anton is ok....

Lauren- Looks like ER will be Sunday or Monday I will go Friday for another us & blood work Friday We did start the ganirelex tonight and he is dropping my gongal-F to 225 come Thursday. I am getting excited. I want to do the frozen bc we have had no luck with the fresh, but at the same time I want to just put them all in..lol Oh well hopefully we will have a donor too. What is your protocol this time?

Longtimerivf- What a GREAT BETA!!!! WOOHOO I am sorry to hear about the abscess though. I can't imagine how much that hurts. I always do the shots instead of the inserts, but have never had a problem. Now I am reconsidering the shots..lol Let us know what they plan on doing and enjoy being official PREGNANT!!!!!!!!

Anton - i would forget about the testing and just transfer all of your embies! since you have had so many negative cycles - the chance of multiples for you is quite low. i would just transfer al of your embies to give yourself the best chance at it. frankly testing is not going to tell you anything. it will tell you that some are good and some are bad - well you know that already. this ivf game is about the numbers - i would transfer lots of embies with each cycle and keep trying a few more times. also i wouldnt wait till day 5. embies do better inside of you - put them all in on day 3 to give yourself the best chance.

AFM: called the embryologist today to check about my little babies, and she said everything is great i told her i need more details daaaaa and i was shocked when she said that today she is off and she didnt check on them and that i have to call tomorrow for more details how stupid is that!! tried to talk woth the RE but he has operations all day long and couldnt answer my call i hate this new clicnic (even though they have very high success rates - which made me switch to them- ) but can't do anything about it now, i have to get back my babies... so now i have to wait till tomorrow to know how many fertilized and how they are doing!!!

Amanda-Yes SOmetime soon is my ER....I dont blame you for wanting to put all yours back in! Its a tough decision to freeze and wait but Im sure things will be perfect for you As far as my protocol....I did the estrace/antagonist protocol..its there most aggresive protocol. I took the estrace for 10 days before AF and then started stims...Follistim...menopur and added ganirelex on day 6 I think! So far I have around 10-12 follies growing!

Fruit-WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!!!!!! Your clinic serious?? I would be FREAKING out! Did they warn you of this ahead of time? I get a call from my RE every day with an update...its the IVF coordinators that handle it! Well at least you know there ok but you want DETAILS!!!! and all of us wants details too!!!

Sorry I have not posted. I tried a few times and my post was deleted. I hate when that happens. I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for everyone's support here and on the Feb/Mar Board.

AFM-today is the day. Transfer is scheduled for 11:30am. Due to our Last failed IVF with only one frosty, we have decided to transfer two this time. I am nervous and excited at the same time. Please say a little prayer for us.

Hi everyone,

Total # of embies is 3. Two good ones and one that is catching up nicely. I guess 3 is better than 2. I try to be positive about this... I had a long talk with the embryologist today and he will call me tomorrow at 9am to let me know the embryo status and if all is growing nicely to decide if we are doing a FISH and take it from there. With the FISH we will see if there is any abnormality in the basic and most important chromosomes and that is pretty good. I will get a good feedback from my embies situation. He was very understanding and analysed everything and answered to all of my questions. If we have good results (with the FISH) at the end we will proceed with putting back all embies that are good (1 or 2 or 3 of them) and also do AH (Assisted Hatching). My DH was in favour of having the ET as schedule for Saturday (5dt) without doing FISH or CGH only the AH and hope for the best. He agreed with me at the end that if all look good tomorrow we proceed with the FISH and take it from there. Needless to say that I wonder all the time if this is the right decision. I ruled out the frozen option b/c after thinking about it, in our last FET we had two blasts and only one made to thaw and so we transferred that one. So now what if I freeze these 3 and again one makes it to thaw later on. Does it worth it to freeze them and not proceed now with the FISH and transfer if results are normal? The idea of the freeze is to have more to add to the next fresh cycle where together with the fresh embies and the frozen to have more to send to the lab for the CGH analysis. OK I get it, but something inside me is telling me that we should deal with what we’ve got now. I haven’t spoken with my RE at all after the retrieval and according to his instructions I talk directly to the head of embryologic dept. According to the embryologist, we are a special case that needs all the attention needed to bring light into our case. He said that after so many IVF’s with so good results from the beginning of stims until the day of ET, I should have been pregnant by now! He told me that we even done blood test that not everyone that does IVF does them. He was very optimistic but cautious at the same time with the situation we are now facing. He will call me tomorrow at 9am together with the RE to make the decision all together. Wish me luck girls. I feel optimistic today for some reason. Maybe is from your prayers girls!

Hi ladies! I missed you so much! I can't believe I haven't been able to post since Thursday, July 7th!!! That was the last time I posted the list! I have been reading EVERYDAY though! After that day, I only had my phone, so it was easy to read, but not to post. Anyways, vacation was AWESOME! We got back this past Saturday & ever since that day, we have been busy hanging out w/ my SIL (DH's sis) & her family (they're from AZ). They just left to go back home this morning

So, it's back to reality for me. Well, almost...school doesn't start for about 6 more weeks, so it's not complete reality just yet.

I just confirmed my baby-in-a-box order w/ Freedom Pharmacy. Everything is due to be delivered this Friday. Well, almost everything...Lupron is out of stock...ugh! So, I have about a quarter of a bottle left from my past cycle in March/April, so I should be okay to start w/ that. I called my nurse & she'll have to ok Freedom to submit my Lupron order w/ another pharmacy in AZ & I should have it by the beginning of next week or so.

I don't have the time to do personals right now, but I will soon...I PROMISE!!!
