AFM-I am feeling realy good. I spoke to my RE today and he was feeling very positive about this transfer. He said he was very happy with the two blasts that were transferred this time. He is very optimistic. I am as well but trying to remain realistic.

Looks like ER is set for Tuesday and the donor looks good. They said since we will be the second couple on the donor split we could get anywhere from 10% to 50% of the donor eggs after the 1st couple get the amt.of eggs they want. then we have to pay for them. I have no idea what that cost will be??? What would 10% be and how many or how much would 40% be and how many..I have to go back in on Sunday for another US to get ready for Tuesday. Has anyone done a split donor before?

I forgot to mention that my Beta has been moved up to Friday, 7-29 instead of 8-1. The last FET was also on a Wednesday and the Beta was on the following Friday. My RE agreed that this should be the Beta date. I much prefer the Friday Beta because, God forbid it is bad news then at least I have the weekend to greave like I did last time. It would be tough for me to go back to work on Tuesday if the result was negative. So I am happy with the new Beta date.

I'm hoping that it's ok to join this board. Right now I'm on bcp until 8/11 and then I start stims on 8/15 for a possible end of August transfer. So, I guess this could fall on summer and fall . Anyway, I've been lurking around and reading all of your posts- hoping and praying for positive outcomes- behind the scenes. You all are such a positive support to each other and it's just wonderful! DH and I go next week for the bloodwork, SA, and saline sono. I regretably had a TL postpartum when I was 23- biggest mistake of my life. I then lost a tube and ovary, due to a very large dermoid cyst. This will be my first IVF cycle and I am hoping for the best, although I have to admit that I am pretty anxious, nervous, scared, etc etc.

Welcome. I recently moved from another board to this one due to a failed IvF cycle. The ladies on the other board were great but all eventually moved to other boards including this one. The ladies on this board are great and you will get alot of support from all of us. It is ok to feel are of the emotions that you are feeling. We have all been there. Wehavehope- Good job getting your beta moved up! Mine was supposed to be on 8/2, but since I have to go back to work that day, I had them move it up. I'm sure that I will POAS before my beta. Will you POAS?

Welcome mandarae! This is a very supportive group, and so far there have been a lot of BFPs! Hopefully that trend will continue!

Adkelp- I'm sorry that you are having a stressful time right now! Just rest and let that baby grow. It seems that there are a lot of women that get subchorionic hematomas, and they can deliver healthy babies. I will continue praying for you!

Alwaysangel- Cramps can be very normal as the uterus expands. Keep up the PMA!

Amanda- Glad to hear that everything is going well with you and the donor!

AFM- Just relaxing at home...letting my husband pamper me. Can't wait to start POASing, but I'm holding off for now. I know that it can't be positive yet, but I'm really addicted!

Went to the store first thing his AM with DH. Went to go get out of car and had a HUGE gush of brown/fluid. I looked like I peed my pants. Called RE and they said just watch it until tomorrow and maybe do US Monday. No bright blood yet.

Fruit: Hope all went well with your ET today as well!!

Akdelp: I would take it easy--as I said in PM, most women with bleeding turn out ok, but still I advise you to chug water and rest as much as you can off your feet. U/S on Monday sounds like a good plan. And, brown blood isn't as worrisome as red bleed. ((HUGS))

AFM - my behind is looking much better! I'm very happy with the way it has been resolving!! on the other hand, my stomach is crying... it's really upset from the antibiotic... but will keep on taking it until the last day because I never want to see that ugly nasty thing coming out of me!! (sorry TMI)... Apart from that, nothing much happening... no symptoms, nothing, not even sore boobs... hoping this is ok... have another beta monday and an US on wednesday... my RE wants to make sure it is an intrauterine pregnancy... haven't told anybody yet... well only my friend that knew about the FET and all of you... will probably wait until RE says it's ok to share... may I stay here for a little while longer???

Wishingandhoping-I did POAS last time. I have mixed feelings this time. I may towards the very end. What I van yell you is that last time I did and of course it was negative. I think it kind of prepared me for the BFN. But again, I don't realy know what I am going to so this time.

Longtimerivf-glad the bottom is better. Sorry to hear about your upset stomach. Ask the doctor if there is anything at all that you van take. Maybe tea? I am praying that you feel better soon.

Hi everyone!

I am PUPO girls! We received the call from my RE this morning that we have 1 beautiful, perfect blast ready to transfer and so we went at 11:30am and had the transfer at 12:15. Unfortunately the other one wasn’t good for transfer. But it’s ok, I am really excited about transferring our perfect Grade A blast!! and with first time AH Please God let it stick and grow!!!!!! .

....it was a very event full transfer girls!...I will explain,...so we arrived and got prepared for the transfer room, my RE came and he was so excited to see us, he even kissed me on my chick to show me how glad he was about us transferring a perfect blast. Don’t get him wrong he must be more than 60yr for sure! But a lovable RE that always glad to see me. I always have big smile on my face and he likes that....So, he asked me if I feel bloated enough (with water I mean) and the nurse prepared me for the transfer room to check me with an ultra sound. So I was load and ready (like a gun! ) he then showed us on the TV the blast we were about to transfer and I was amazed! So far so good...my RE was looking at the monitor to find the perfect parking spot when the electricity power was off! I was like OMG! This can’t be happening now! My RE was furious! Apparently there was this electrician that came to install a second generator at the clinic and was stupid enough not to inform the RE that he was going to cut the power! My RE couldn’t believe it him self! He kept saying that this is a clinic, couldn’t the electrician have the courtesy to inform the staff.... Anyhow, the power comes back again, and he finds the spot again, and the power cuts off again! This cannot be real! I told him to wait a bit and then bring the blast for transfer...he arrange with a staff member to let the electrician know what’s going on and to wait until the RE gives the word to cut the power supply off. We waited a few minutes and we started the ET with great success! I believe me, DH, the RE, the nurse and the embryologist witnessed a miracle happening there! our baby miracle! ... Now the funny part, while transferring my RE’s cell phone starts ringing and the ringtone was guess what!...the song ”Loca Loca” with Shakira! I wanted to burst and laugh right there! It was SO funny!! But I tried to control myself of course and continued praying that our blast comes home safe and stick and grow to a baby! my RE said, "Antonia, this trasnfer has a soundtrack especially for you! you will have this to remember telling your baby when she/he borns" Over all me and DH we are very happy and we can’t wait to get that BFP in 10 days!!!!

Fruit – We are PUPO chiquita!!! Congratulations for transfering your babies home with you!!! 8/2 is my beta day. I can’t wait to cheer you on your BFP!!!
