2wwing. Anyone else?

Post by sharishu »

Well, here I am in my 2ww. One week down, one to go. The last time I began a 2ww thread, it ended in my ds being born! So here goes ;) !

How are all you 2wwers doing? I am surprisingly more relaxed than last time, although I'm beginning to feel nerves as 'test time' approaches. I had one embie transferred this time. No major cramps so far, just little twinges here and there.

Hope you're all relaxed and resting AMAP!!!

Oh one more thing. A tip: I've read that walnuts aid in implantation! Been munching a few in my salad every day, can't hurt! :D

I am at the end of my 2ww, beta is scheduled for Thursday, July 21st at 8:15. I have been poas since Saturday and have been getting positives since then. We had to move to donor eggs since my eggs are not so good. We transferred 2 8 cell embryos. Trying not to go crazy with all of the questions. I am nervous but trying to remain positive.

Good Luck to you...

Alas, this 2ww turned into a BFN :( . I'll be ok, I am a pretty strong girl. DH and I are just not stopping until we are holding that little babe (babies) in our arms. For today, however, I am feeling sad and low energy.

Hope everyone has their bfp's soon, and that we will all soon be celebrating.

G-d bless

Shari,
Sorry to hear about your BFN....it was a BFN for me as well. I too don't have any energy and was disappointed. My son ended up sick the day after my beta and made me forget about it though! I was happy that it wasn't a chemical or anything like that. We too won't give up :)
Take care of you and lets cycle together soon :)

Hi ladies, :D

Question :?:
I am in the process of my first IVF, I have my ER tomorrow. Just wondering do's/ don'ts during the 2ww. I haven't asked my doc yet but, I'm wondering about traveling and how soon after IVF I can fly... also curious about foods- what to eat/ not eat.. swimming??

Your help is really appreciated, :)
Thanks!

Firstly, all the best, hope it works! I'd say do try relaxing, don't overdo it. I've read that flying is best after first trimester is done, just because it's a delicate stage of pregnancy and best to be close to your doctor. I read walnuts aid in implantation, and also pineapples, esp. the core. Acupuncture is also helpful esp b4 and after ET.

Good luck!

Tinaaaa Ooooooo!!
I was hoping I'd see u on here at some point! Man, u are a breath of fresh air. I can sure use some Tina humor during this whole 'fun and exciting' IVF process! How is Noa? Eliya will be three Aug. 9, and he has become a curly-haired mischief maker with a smile and shining eyes to match :). I look at him jumping and playing, and I marvel at the miracle that he is. Please G-d, just one more miracle!! (for me and Tina! :))

Hope all is well with u. When will u be starting? I'll be starting a fresh cycle right away (as soon as the doc gives me the go ahead). I have AF already, so if we could start immediately, I'd prefer it. We meet with our RE Sunday to discuss.

All the best Tina. I want to see pics!
