Ok ladies. I know it is absolutely way early but I POAS. I couldn't help it. I have felt so good and so positive about this cycle that I thought I would take a chance. Today I am 5 days post transfer which means that my embryos are actualy 10 days because they were 5 day blasts when frozen. There is actualy the faintest of blue lines on the test. Am I seeing thing? Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I actually wraped it in toilet paper and threw it in the garbage. I have now taken it out of the garbage three times to see if I have just gone off the deep end. But it's there. Super super light but there. What do you think??? Why do I do this to myself?

WeHaveHope- I would think that if the line is there, you are not seeing things! You are so funny- throwing it away and then digging it out! I'm right there with ya- I would definitely do the same thing. Try not to go too crazy (I know easier said than done).

Thanks. So I finally dug it out one last time and put it away in a drawer. The things we do!!! I'll give it a few days and then test again. I still have two more tests left.

Ester: Yea! Great to “move down” on the list...that much closer to your BFP! I know what you mean about feeling like a “vet” with the injections....when I think back to how stressed we were the first go round, and then by IVF # 4 it was like...okey dokey, here we go....I even gave the majority of the shots to myself on that round and gave DH a break (he is a bit needle phobic).

Lauren: Waiting for news regarding your ER...I am sure that all went well!!

Wehavehope- I can't see the picture, but since you didn't trigger with HCG, any positive HPT is a true positive! Congrats!!!

Anton- Congrats on being PUPO!!! It sounds like you had a crazy ET, but I'm sure that perfect embie is getting comfortable in its home! Your BFP will be here before you know it!

Fruit- glad you had such a great ET with 2 beautiful blasts! Our BFPs will be here soon!

My heart skipped a beat when I read that you ladies could see it. I thought I had gone over the deep end and was seeing things. Still trying to remain calm, grounded, and realistic, but happy to see this tiny light blue line. I hadn't seen one in over 13 years.

anton - congrats on being pupo!!! i am a strong believer that you'll get a bfp this time around. the worse the Er thebeet the results

afm - i am transfering my leftover frozens on friday. i have 3 so-so and 3 either possible activated eggs or embies - unclear - she didnt see the proper fertilization on those 3. in any case - all 6 are getting thawed on thursday and on friday we will transfer as many as look like embryos. i am hoping for 4 or 5 to transfer. so far i've had 4 ivf cycles and transfered a total of 2+3+2+3 = 10 embies and got pregnant once. so 1 out of 10. that's why i figure i am safe transfering 4 or 5 so-so ones - i am lucy if one of them sticks! here is hoping this is the cycle for me. i am bringing an accupuncturist into the office . never done this before - but pulling out all stops - really want this cycle to work. i discussed bedrest with my doc and he doesnt care - studies dont show it helps. so i am going to rest the day of transfer and that night. but the next day back to normal.

Thank you all for your constant support. I thank God everyday for putting this board in my path. Below is s pic of the second test today. Hi everyone!

Today is 1dp5dt and I feel great! I am visualizing my beautiful blast sticking and growing inside me! I keep tell her to stay with us and she will like us when she get to know us...silly me! I know! ...funny thing, I probably mentioned and in other cycles, my DH is dreaming of having a baby girl since ever! not that if we make a boy he would object, but you know what I mean. So he got me into the baby girl idea and now every time we are referring to our little blast, we believe it’s a she. So my DH asks me several times in the day, “..how’s our baby girl doing? Or “ ...how are my girls feeling?” ...crazy daddy like always. Please let it be and we get that BFP this time! That will take us over the moon! .....so, I didn’t take the strict 3 day couch rest like I did in my previous cycles but I took it easy in general. My DH gave me off yesterday and today and so he did all the cooking and cleaning after...this morning we made some gardening arrangements, ok, my DH did and I was watching and supervising...my parents were out of town and so he kept the Sunday tradition and made BBQ just for the two of us with chicken marinated, corm on the cob ( I love that stuff!) , jacket potatoes and green veggies on the grill. Can’t complain! He made a delicious lunch! ...I am going to get used to this I told him for the next 9 months! He told me “..you get pregnant baby and don’t worry about the food! I will not let my girls starve...” ...We too are having a heat wave in my part of the world so drinking a lot of water it’s the minimum I can do! 40c degrees today! My DH enjoyed the pool but I couldn’t even let the sun see me!! I am too afraid to go to the sun just in case I harm my embie...silly I know! Besides, I have this patches and if i wear my bikini to go into the pool, the sun will leave marks on my tammy...after I remove the patches I will look like a Dalmatian dog!!! And nope! we don’t want that! do we!


Wehavehope- U are so funny!...and silly! A line is a line! Even a faint one!! I am excited for you! You should POAS everyday now, just to see the red line getting darker and darker! How exciting! You got your BFP girl!!! can’t wait to hear its getting darker and darker!!....JUST SAW YOUR NEW POST! I SEE IT!! I SEE THE LINE!! CONGRATULATIONS MY FRIEND!!!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!
