Hi Kel....don't forget you're full to bursting with hormones, it's hardly surprising you're up one minute and down another....I've asked my clinic specifically and they say there is no influence on the result of doing nothing vs. doing things slightly more gently than normal. I asked on Friday and she laughed like a drain then said 'no housework' wink, wink. Like Dagny, I've never heard of not going on journeys. In fact...after my first tmt, I had to fly back to my previous home city, so an hour to the airport then a 2 hour flight. My result was still a +++++ so go visit your Mum and enjoy Monday. It will be a great distraction plus pass yet another v. long day!

take care and hoping all other buddies are feeling happy and positive.
hugs,
Debra.

Kel,

I think it's definitely safe to blame it on the hormones. I remember feeling really sad and moody over the 2 ww last time. I didn't even realize how much of it was due to the hormones until a week or so later when I started to feel like myself again. I think it's definitely a good idea to get out of the house if you're feeling up to it. I'm sure it won't do any harm at this point.

Hang in there!

Hi Loopy and DeeDee:

DeeDee : how did EC and ET go? let us know when you're on your feet again.

Loopy - good luck with the final scan...socks? really? isn't it too warm?

Hello to everyone else too.....all fine here. Slightly worried that I'm doing too much picking up of a certain 24lb'er but with DF at work, I've no choice.

Good morning girlies!!!

Hi everyone, how was the weekend?? Mine was fine, just jabbing and stimming with no obvious side effects - yet! I have started to get a few spots that I don't remember getting previously  Anyone else get spots during treatment??

Kel - Honey I hope the spotting ha calmed down and you feel a bit more positive. Have a good day at your Mum's. Thinking of you.

Loopy - I am still waiting for Beckham to come and get his ball out of my garden  I hope he doesn't see my spots  Good luck with your scan this morning. Your socks made me laugh, where did you get them? I hope the scanner see's the funny side of them  Your pond/waterfall sounds very nice. My DH is opposed to water features but I am working on him.

Debra - How are you doing?? It must be hard for you to relax with your little girl needing so much attention. I am sure you'll be fine. She probably takes your mind off it doesn't she?

Staci - Any news on AF  yet??

DeeDee - How did ET go?? How are you feeling??

Teresa - You have been very quiet is everything OK?

It's really hot and sunny here today, long may it last. Wimbledon is not too far from me I wish I had tickets this year, oh well never mind I'll have to make do with watching it on the TV. Go Tim, Go Tim!!!!!

Keep up the PMA and *babydust* for us all

Hi...Dagny how can you have such good weather when my parents in Suffolk had INCREDIBLE rain yesterday?

Just wanted to say 'me too' re. spots. Sooooo very unecessary at my age!

Having lots of twinges and I'm v. conscious it's day 4 so maybe the day they should attach???? I don't want to do anything. I've a friend coming over later with a toddler so that will help keep my mind off it. I'm starting to obsess, just as well I've 2-3 hours work everyday until Friday now. I can sit and make them do all the work, usually I'm very active but will be calmer this week I think.

Just remembered something else my clinic told me after EC, to wait 5 days before having intercourse again. Hahahahahaha....it will be a little longer than that I think! I won't be doing the BD until the results are back and probably a bit after that too......

Kel - the end of your 2ww is in sight. Did the bleeding stop? Loopy - it's finally EC week!!!!!! DeeDee - how are you?

Happy Monday. Good stimming and down-regging.
hugs,
Debra.

Grils

Hold tight for my update.......

EC on Friday, all went well, apparently I was talking about my 2 cats during the whole thing, just as well I haven't got any state secrets or else they would be out by now, honestly my CATS, DH said that sounded about right for when I had been drinking as one was a stray who had been so badly treated that I tend to focus on that when I have had a few!!!!

Collected 5 eggs and can you believe it 4 out of the 5 fertilized and were top graders - so difficult for them to choose which 2 to put back, the other 2 will freeze if they keep doing well, will know for sure later this week.

So ET yesterday and all went very well, text book apparently. Since then have been taking it easy but the clinic has assured me that they can't fall out, although I have been examining the loo very carefully after each wee just in case!!!

Feeling strangley calm, but I think that is just relief to have got this far, trying to take each day as it comes and not to have any baby daydreams but its tough. Am off work now for the next 2 weeks so expect more from me than before.

A BIG thank you to you all for your positive thoughts, it means a lot.

Kel & Debra - hope you are both well and taking it easy, my clinic said no intercourse for 3 days, but like you I can't think about that right now.

Loopy - thinking of you this week, Dagny keep on jabbing

Have a good weekend everyone and thanks for being there

Off for a gentle stroll later, and am trying to remember to breath deeply, and imagine extra oxygen to the womb

Take Care

Hi Debra

I know what you mean about the weather. I expect the rain is on it's way but for the moment it's clear blue skies and lovely sun. It's 95 degrees in my conservatory right now  Your twinging sounds like good news!

DeeDee - That's fantastic news. 4 out of 5 and top grade is super. I have never had any frosties so well done. Take it easy and enjoy the 2ww as best you can!

See ya

Dee Dee

Fabby news - well done - now relax ? well just try and take it as it comes - everything crossed.

REckon this is gonne be a great big+++++++++++++ board.

Kel - car journeys - no problem - they can't really shake themselves out - you are feeling hormone effects and pessaries. I was the same and went and finished off the blue cheese and had some large glasses of red wine - am nearly 34wks pg with twins! Oh and was whizzing alll over the place in the car - especially fast over hump back bridges - what am I like?

Debra - hopefully twinges are a good sign - your turn again - let's hope hey!

Dagny - had to laugh over the penalty joke - am an honourary Holland supporter now! Keep up the stimming!

Loopy hope the scan goes well

Love to all

Hi Peeps,

Loopy - 23 follies sounds great. You're right, by your next scan some of the tiddlers will have caught up. You'll have a humungous number then!

DeeDee - congrats on EC and ET going so well. Welcome to the slowest-movement-of-time club!

Dagny - I'm still chuckling about that penalty joke....very funny. Wasn't over impressed to hear him complain about the fitness regime at Real Madrid. If he didn't think it good enough, why not do some more?? How's the stabbing going?

How's everyone else doing? Staci? Teresa? (maybe I should check the July board too?), Kel - nice visit today?

hugs all round,
Debra.
