Madame Zaritska, using her mystical powers, has the following prediction:
The day you deliver, outside will be dark. Your baby will arrive in the late night. After a labor lasting approximately 4 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 11 pounds, 1 ounces, and will be 19,19-1/2 inches long. This child will have light green eyes and barely there black hair.
Do you like to play with tarot cards or enjoy getting your palm read? Visit http://www.psychics.co.uk/psychictests/ ... ction.html for instructions on making a pendulum predictor. You'll make the pendulum by suspending a ring from a piece of string. You start by holding it near familiar objects and asking "Is this a phone book?" or "Is that the dog?" Watch how it swings; it can go back and forth, clockwise, or counterclockwise. You should see that one type of swing always represents "yes" and another one stands for "no." Now, hold the pendulum over your pregnant belly and ask if the baby is a boy or a girl.
Mora- you are cracking me up with your 11 pound baby boy! I am glad you are having fun with this...I am too. I took the Parents quiz you sent along and it said girl for me. I thought that the other link I sent also told me girl but it didn't, it said boy. So I now have two girl predictions and one boy prediction.
Addy- Bummer!!! I was really hoping you would know today and I know you were too! Oh well...4 weeks isn't too long to wait (even though it seems like ages). Oh...and YAY!!!! for a strong heartbeat.
Katie- August 12th seems really close to me now after Addy and I are waiting 4 and 7 weeks respectively. Can't wait for all of us to start getting the news. It will be too fun.

Alissa - I agree now after seeing you guys are waiting so long I think it is pretty close too.....now I am just hoping August 12th is the day and they don't postpone me until 20 weeks too but if they do waiting is part of the fun and looking at all the gender predictors has been fun! I am 50/50 on having a boy and the one that gave our birth plan said she would be in labor for 17 hours (which will never happen since this will be her 7th live birth!) and that the baby would weigh something like 9 pounds 11 ounces....OUCH!
Mora - 11 pound baby!!! If you deliver that, you will officially be my rock star! YIKES
Addy - I was so bummed that you have to wait until 20 weeks now....but I guess we can continue to have fun with all the predictor tests.....
So here is a new question I want to pose....what kind of dreams are you all having? Some say that they knew from the moment they got pregnant that it was a boy or girl...so what do you all think....my birth Mom is convinced that it is a boy (she never has morning sickness unless she is carrying a boy) and I have had some pretty vivid boy dreams as well. Would be fun to get one of each but we are happy with healthy!
Have a good night girls, xoxo Kt

GREAT QUESTION. 100% of all my dreams have been a about a little girl...and I have had lots of them! And she is all different ages in the dreams too.
Speaking of...I have had a ton of weird dreams since becoming preggo. And a fair share of nightmares too Awful!!! (including one terrible one where I hurt the baby ) But most the dreams are beautiful and sweet.

Havent been posting much, overall everything has been uneventful. Which is GREAT! I am now 15wks! I am having alot of swelling in my feet and ankles and today I noticed my calves too. I dont know if this is too early for swelling, but it is twins. My bp is great though, 106/60. I am getting cut back to 8hr work days in just 5wks, cant believe it. Dont know how long I will be allowed to work after that. Guess we will see.
I haven't had any dreams. Well, nothing baby related, that is. With DD, I swore I was having a boy until we had the anatomical survery 4-D u/s at 20 weeks. I feel it's a boy again, but who knows?
Oh, one more gender predictor, but it only works if this is your second baby . . . am I the only one working on #2?
Supposedly, you can tell the sex of your next child based on the previous child's hairline (At the Base of their Neck)... After you have your first child look at the back of their hairline- if it is pointed your next child will be of the opposite sex- if it is straight across it will be the same sex.... if it works, then I'll be having a boy . . .
Hmmmm I just put Emilee to bed so in the morning I will definitely check the hairline out! I guess since she has same birth mom as the new baby it should work. I love playing this game it is so fun!
We got all our background checks, national child abuse registry clearance, and paternity search out of the way this week so we are pretty clear from here just waiting for 32 weeks so we can do a home study & file the petition for adoption. Seems so easy this time around last time we were a mess but I guess having done it once before makes it so much easier. She says she feels great except for a little morning sickness here & there and still convinced of a boy and she now has a definite protruding bump (she lives about 45 min from us so we see her about 1 time a month). I guess when you are on your 7th pregnancy things happen a lot faster and you feel less stressed about the pregnancy terminating spontaneously.....I am covering that for her I am stressed for sure!
Have a good night ladies....xoxo
BTW...Dallas I would think with twins that it puts much more of a burden on your body so you would have some swelling earlier in your extremities but not to worry my friend had twins & once the kiddos were out she went back to normal it a little bit but not too bad.......I can't believe it is 15 weeks for you already! Seems like just yesterday you did your transfer! Congratulations!

Hey Dallas! Welcome back and glad to see things are going well with you (except for the swelling). It is hard to believe how quickly time seems to be going by now. How about you and the gender prediction? Its a little easier for you, the odds of guessing at least one right are higher for you.
Mora- that is one strange gender prediction but since I know you are hoping for a little boy I hope this wive's tale is true!
AFM- I just got back from the road (the usual work travel with a couple of hotel nights). I had a pretty stressful meeting at work and a long drive home and I was worried about the baby. So I immediately broke out the Doppler which I haven't used in two weeks because its so hard to find the heartbeat. Well... tonight I found it immediately! It was loud and perfect. Just love it.

No, I havent tried the gender predictor bc Im not sure if it will really tell me anything since they're r 2 of them. But..... my anatomy scan is just a little over a wk away!!!
Hey Girls.... CRASHING! And checking on many of my former cycle buddies.
Saw you were all discussing gender prediction. Here's one that uses biorhythms I believe based on mom and dad's birthdates and conception dates. I tried it with a bunch of people from work and it was right 15/17 times!!! But only when conception date was used (not actual birthdate). For babies already born, mom's knew how early or late they were and we just counted 38 weeks back from "due date" to get conception date.
Lou - I was wondering, what hospital are you going to delivery at? I live about 20 minutes from you, so I was curious. I am going to highland park because that is the only hospital my OB does deliveries.
