Tonight I was in the grocery store with dh when my stomach started to bother me...felt like I need to use the ladies room with 5 min we got home and went to the bathroom and noticed blood in my underwear. The pain stopped but one I have cramps and of course I am a mess now fearing the worst.....is this what I think it is? I had a beta yesterday it was 5795...my betas have more than doubled every 2 days.....

Some bleeding is normal in any pregnancy. Try not to worry. Are you on suppositories? a lot of times those can cause some irritations. If the bleeding gets bad, call your Dr.

have you called your RE? I had bleeding at 4 weeks, 5 weeks, and 8 weeks, and each time, my RE brought me in for an u/s to check on the little guy and bring me some peace of mind . . . like I said, I've had unexplained bleeding three times so far and the little guy is still going strong . . . maybe your cervix is irratated, maybe your glands are expanding . . . drink lots of water and lay down for the rest of the evening . . . I would go in to the RE in the morning regardless to check on the little guy . . . good luck
Def- I called and the on call said that even if I came in that he would not be able to tell me 100% that everything is ok as I am so early..I'm trying to stay calm but I'm scared. Was it constant bleeding? I noticed it over 90 min ago and it seems to have stopped? Idk

Was the bleeding red? If so I would definitely go in for reassurance in the morning. And as deftonesmo stated, drink lots of water and rest up. Yes, 5w3d is awfully early for an u/s, but they should be able to tell you if there is a sac there or not...they may even be able to see if there is a hematoma or something to explain the bleeding. If you choose to wait a few days, I would definitely take it easy and really push the fluids. (My first u/s was at 5w6d and we saw one sac/yolk; then at 6w4d we saw 2 sacs with HBs!)
Again, as Deftonesmo said, there are lots of causes for early bleeding--cervix being irritated, suppositories, low progesterone, implantation blood coming out, or, as I have, a hematoma.
I hope and pray that all is well with you. Take care, try to remain hopeful.
And don't worry about begging RE or OB for reassurance. I went 7 times (including 1 trip to ER) in a span of less than 3 weeks....my OB was very helpful and reassuring and has continued to see me every two weeks since (as my hematoma has yet to resolve).

each time it stopped after a while . . . one day, I started and stopped three different times! Even at 5 weeks, I went in for an u/s and my RE could find the sac and fetal pole and even the flicker of the HB . . . she could also tell that there were no blood clots in the uterus . . . I would go in tomorrow morning and get checked out . . . they will check your cervix to make sure it's high and closed and also to see if there is a polyp on the cervix irratating it . . . they might even do a beta to check your numbers . . . good luck
If I were you, I would try to take it easy as much as possible because you said that your stomach felt like you had to go to ladies room so that sounds like cramps. It is always a good thing to try to rest your pelvic because the more moving around the more irritated it can become. I have had cramps with several of my pregnancies and most of them didn’t turn out well but with my last one, I became lucky.
I do agree with your RE that you are too early and they can't be sure so the best thing you can do is rest as much as possible. I definitely wish you all of the luck in the world!!!!
in both my successful pregnancies i've had significant first trimester bleeding.. in my current pregnancy, it was at 6 wks. major gushes of bright red blood. with my son, it was at 9 wks and then i spotted til wk 13. it was very scary but worked out ok. i pray the same is true for you, as this is often the case

I also had significant bleeding with my first pregnancy. I went to the ER in a panic and turned out everything was okay. My baby is now 3 and healthy. The bleeding did seem to come and go but there was usually always some kind of bloody discharge up until 26 weeks or so. Good luck.
Went to dr this morning us showed a blood clot...this is the cause of the bleeding. The sac was seen which was good...now home resting and hopes the bleeding does not return...it became brown this morning.

brown is good. very happy for you and fingers crossed. both times mine was a clot too. also called a sub chorionic hematoma (sch).. but mine went back to bright red at some points, and although this is more concerning, it turned out fine for me. best of luck!

Brown blood is old blood, which means your active bleeding has stopped . . . you should send a PM to margi26 . . . she's had a blood clot (sch) for a while now and she's almost in her third trimester with twins . . .
