Anton - hang in there, girl! just one more day! i know what you mean - its's really hard to be positive. i am definitely struggling with it, too. i've already started planning the next cycle and having DH taking his supplements for 3 months from now. But its nice that your DH is taking on the cheerleader role for a change! its nice to have someone else provided that much needed support!

Wishing - congrats! i think its most likely twins - how many days post ovulation is it for you? i doubt its triplets - dont worry.

as for me - i've been waking up at 2am and not able to get back to sleep till 4am for the last several days. damn progesterone!!! and teh night sweats seem tohave started as well. oh joy!!!!

Lyd10- Thanks so much for your encouragement. I am 16dpo, so I'm hopeful that I have 2 very strong embryos, but we'll see!

I'm a little worried right now about my progesterone. I called to ask what my progesterone level was (they didn't have it yet when they called with the beta), and it is only 10.6. Unfortunately my RE was gone for the day. I asked if I could do PIO and suppositories and the nurse just said that she didn't know if my RE every does that. Have any of you used both PIO and suppositories? I'm thinking I'm just going to have to page the on-call RE tonight. With my miscarriage in May, my progesterone was low. I really don't want that happening again :(

Like I said on the thread you started, I would definitely call the RE & ask to increase your PIO!

Wishing-so I wrote this whole elaborate post using my iPhone which is not easy and of course it got erased. So, let's try thus again. I saw your post earlier but was soooo busy at work I was not able to post. OMG, whT a great Beta. Try not to worry so much about the high number. I too was a bit worried and after surfing the net I noticed that the Beta is quite unreliable for determining single pregnancies vs multiple pregnancies. I have seen single and twin pregnancies with both my Beta of 275 and your Beta of 980. So, enjoy your pregnancy. Trust the God never gives us more than we can handle. Sending you alot of live and congrats!!! Can't wait to see the next number. When is your next Beta?

I, like wehavehope, had a full reply ready to go and have no idea what I did but it all disappeared! So here is a much shorter synopsis!

Anton: I really hope that you get your BFP tomorrow. Your mind is trying to protect you from the possibility of bad news - but that doesn't mean it will be bad news - sending you the stickiest baby dust :D

Wishingandhoping: I am really ignorant about Beta levels and progesterone but if you are in any way concerned about them - call the RE on-call. Seriously, don't go through the day/night without some information and hopefully some reassurance.

Fruit: Did you POAS? :D

Lyd10: How are you doing now?

I'm really sorry that I havn't included everyone, I'm going to head to bed now and talk to you all tomorrow. As we say here in Ireland - Oiche Mhaith agus Beannacht (good night and blessings).

wishing - the progesterone levels in your uterus are much higher than what's in blood because suppositories are local. my first pregnancy i only did suppositories and they never even meaasure my prog levels. but looks like more and more docs are prescribing PIO shots just so they can measure the prog in blood and feel good about it. now i am also on PIO and suppositories. i guess better safe than sorry - so maybe ask your RE for PIO as well. although i do feel that they over prescribed it now - way too much progesterone just to be on the safe side.

thansk, Ninde - i am doing OK. thanks for asking. i am just not very hopefull about this cycle, i even considered exercising - but overslept this morning and probably for the better - i should follow at least some of what the docs say, right :)
i dont know - on my succesful cycle i felt twinges, but then i had a cycle where i felt lots of twinges and it was a BFN and another cycle where i felt nothing and it was an ectopic. i dont feel anything on this cycle and i am not particularly upset i guess - seeing as just in my previous cycle i felt so many twinges that when the doc called i thought for sure he was going to tell me twins - instead he said my beta was zero. i was shocked. so i stopped looking for feelings. which pretty much leaves me with nothing. i guess i am just working and taking care of DS in the evenings and letting the days go by. i have 3 sticks so i'll probably poas sun nite, mon nite and tue nite and then go in for beta on wed - all prepared one way or another. i know POASing is turture - i probably will regret doing it - but hopefully i will just be really busy at work and even if its negative i'll b etoo busy to think about it.

oh well in that case, 2 days ago which is 14dpo you were probably at 500 and that's not triplets - prob twins or singleton.

"Regular crasher"

Longtimerivf: Congratulations!!! That is wonderful and exciting news!!

Wehavehope: Thanks for asking...I am doing ok. Feeling huge and having to sleep in a recliner these days. LOL. But all worth it. I see my OB tomorrow to see if I can go back to work next week--I have been out on bedrest for 17 weeks, which seems like an eternity. Good luck with beta #2 tomorrow!!!

Lyd: Sorry about your parentals. My mom makes me absolutely nuts as well--but in different ways. Try to adjust your expectations--although it is hard. Your embies didn’t fall out--remember, your uterus is awfully “sticky”...hang in there...and vent as often as needed. These ladies are the best place to do it.

Wishing: Congratulations on a wonderful beta!!! Try not to freak out--betas really range. I too, was worried about more than twins with my high #s (see siggie) but I am happily carrying twins. Hope you were able to get in touch with someone on-call to get more information and potentially more progesterone.

Fruit: You were quiet today...doing ok? I know the end of 2ww is nerve-wracking...hang in there!!! 2 more days until beta for you.

Anton: TOMORROW is your day!!! Keep up your PMA!! I am saying prayers for you tonight sweetie. And, your DH is the absolute sweetest.

Lauren319: So sorry about the crap with your mom, but seems like you have the coping figured out. I am soooo happy to see you back in the game. Me? Well, DH and I bit the bullet when our insurance cap was lifted, found the best clinic that would accept our insurance, flew to Cali for IVF (since the IUI’s weren’t cutting it) and here I am 24 weeks preggo with twins! One of each flavor. We are pretty psyched--especially since we did it with my “old” eggs. The only wrinkle for me is that I have had a SCH (subchorionic hematoma) that was bleeding for weeks--literally--so I have been on bed rest for friggin eternity. But, whatever it takes!! I see the OB tomorrow and things are looking pretty stable so I will probably get my sorry tail back to work next week. Now that I am big as a whale and with little energy. LOL. I will definitely be stalking you and celebrating your BFP!!

Newbies: Best of luck...tons of baby dust, and I strongly recommend writing long posts on Word and then copy and pasting into site....I decided to do that after losing a few long posts of my own which can be very frustrating!! I think it happens more frequently when multiple people are posting simultaneously.
