I posted this link on the other thread that you started, but this has lots of information for anyone curious about averages, means, medians, doubling times, etc as far as beta levels are concerned.

Yes, looking at your numbers, you do appear to me closer to the
median for twins, but if you look at the
range of scores then you will see that the range is very wide. So--high levels can sometimes mean a singleton as well as sometimes lower #s can be deceptive and could still be twins.
My scores (see in my siggie) were more in line with triplets, so I was a bit freaked, but turns out I have healthy twins growing. You may have twins, or just on strong bean that is kicking out a lot of HcG. You really won't know until u/s and even then, you won't be really sure until time progresses. There are times were two sacs are there, but only one really develops--and sometimes (as with us) we only saw one sac at first u/s and then 2 sacs and 2 HB's at the next u/s.
Enjoy the fact that you are PREGNANT!!! When is your first u/s scheduled for?
(And if you do end up with twins, as an "older" mom-to-be--I turn 44 tomorrow- I'll be happy to talk with you about it. If I didn't have a stupid hematoma, I would be doing just fine!!!)
