Rio Lizzy is soooooo cute and your son is such a cutie pie I love his golden hair..You must be such a proud mama :) :)

Blair how awesome that you could see a your little one has such a personality...lol The only thing we know about baby Paul is that he hates having pictures taken of him. Every time we have had a scan he always covered his face with his hands and we could not get any good pics..lol

KJM I love the belly pic you look great!

AFM I am on cloud 9 today....Girls we made it to August!!!! I know it may sound a bit trivial but for me this is huge. I had to stop working in my 12th week of pregnancy an leave my 7th graders to a long term sub because of cervix and low lying placenta and was told that I would never see the month of August pregnant and here we are!!! I have been counting down to this day since the middle of FEB...lol (Thank you God)

On another note I finally went to the pool for the first time this year and wow it felt amazing to swim around...I felt my extra 38lb just melt away for a bit and it was such a wonderful experience

Kjm1824- Ya that is weird you don't feel tired with that low of an iron level. Glad they caught it and upped your iron. Your belly pic is awesome. You are just belly,.

Blisfful- I'm so sorry about your friend. That is so very sad. Did they know she was delivering a stillborn or did something happen during delivery? As far as support groups. The hospital gave me a list when I lost Brittnie back in 96 but the internet really hadn't evolved yet so they were actual groups that met monthly.

Riogrl- Love your pictures she is beautiful.

Blair- That is so exciting you are feeling them kick more often know. Glad DH got to feeel the kicks.

Anna- I'm so very happy for you. I't's a great milestone. Don't you just love the pool?

AFM: Went to my gf's baby shower. It ended up being at The East Bay Grille on the water in Plymouth, MA. It was held outside along the water. It was so beautiful. The weather was gorgeous. It felt more like a wedding reception than a baby shower. So I have one down 4 more to go;)

Rio -- Awww.... Lizzy is beautiful, just like her mom! Thanks for sharing.

Leora -- I hope you were able to find peace and relaxation this weekend with David. You are in my thoughts.

Blissful -- Gosh, I'm so sorry about your acupuncturist having a stillborn baby. That is honestly my worst fear. Do they have any idea what went wrong? My friends sister just lost a baby at 30 weeks due to HELLP syndrome. Tragic!

Annashope -- You are next girl! And you've made full term! :D Anything happening?

KJM -- Great belly shot. You look fab! And I have those same shorts...lol.

AFM -- Do you all believe that I had my GD test on Thursday and I still haven't heard if I passed it! I left a message with the nurse but no one has called me back yet. Frustrating! I am now getting a "bumpy belly" that moves a lot. Knees, elbows, feet sticking out everywhere. I can push on them and she'll push back. If you run your hands over my belly, you can clearly tell what is what. (arm, leg, foot, shoulder, etc) So strange! I also look HUGE. I can't imagine I'm going to have room for her to grow for another 8 weeks or so. When people ask when I'm due, they act shocked that I"m not closer to my due date. My shower is Sunday.... I'm excited. I have 47 guests coming. But my registry shows not much has moved yet.... either people are coming to have lunch and go home or they're waiting until the last minute to buy something....LOL.

Rio - Lizzy is so sweet. What a precious little baby girl. I love the ones with your DS - he is going to be such a great big brother.

Ashley - The ultrasound tech said I was at a 27 week weight (at 28 wks) so you maybe even larger. I still can not get over how they kick. My little girl almost seems to kick on command - I will say Ella, where are you I haven't felt you for a while and a couple of minutes I will get a kick or two - could be that i rub my belly at the same time too, but I like to think she hears me!!! Both my DH and I were smaller babies and with twins I guessing they will be small - I would like them to get to atleast pounds though!

Blair - I agree - I think 13 lbs is great considering the ms you had. We need a new belly pic of you too! I love it when my DH gets to feel them kick. I was giving him a hug goodbye this morning and he got a couple of good kicks in his belly - it was pretty cute. I just tell him, now imagine that all day long.

Anna - I am so thrilled for you. Always believe and don't let anyone tell you different - yes thank you God - now for a safe and healthy delivery. I am so happy for you and little Paul. Glad you had fun swimming - I haven't braved it yet.

Kat - yeah, I am kind of worried about the iron. I guess if he is not happy with the little increase I may have to get IV iron. Not really looking forward to that but whatever I have to do... Sounds like a fabulous baby shower - glad you had fun.

Lou - yes I love those shorts but I still fold down the elastic - I hate it over my whole belly. Sorry you haven't got the results back yet. Hopefully that is a good sign. Thats what I love about working at the hospital - I always try and get my OB to send the blood work there and I can check it on my own - I usually get the results faster than the Dr. When you feel huge - look at my picture and imagine having 2 in there. I think we just feel huge at every stage of the pregnancy. I too can not imagine going another 8 weeks - I just don't know how much more I can stretch either but I guess we both will. Have fun at your shower - 47 guest that is going to be huge. I have just had a bunch of small ones - 2 down - 3 to go.

Thank you all for the compliments. - And - Monday work day is over - YAY!! And by the way - this is my last full week at work - then down to 30-32 hours for 2 weeks and then likely off - unless I still feel really good.

Hey ladies! So sorry I didnt post more details about my friend. I was trying not to bring anyone down but it was really silly of me because of course you would want to know. She went into labor and went to the birthing center where she had been regurly monitored by her midwife. As soon as they hooked her up to the fetal monitor they knew there was no HB. She tried to deliver there but decided she wanted drugs and was transferred to the hospital. After two hours of pushing she delivered her little angel, Zoe Amora, who was 8 lbs 13 oz with brown eyes, and cute little chubby cheeks.

A fabulous organization called "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep". Helped her dress her, take photos, and spend time with her for a couple days. The way she describes it, it was still a special and beautiful time and one that she says she would not change if it meant not having her at all. So amazing and sad.

They estimated that the heart stopped three days earlier. In the autopsy everything looked perfect, but of course they sent tissue samples off to be studied.

I'm sorry to have brought this up with so many of you in the late stages of pregnancy... And like me I know you are also easily worried because of all we have been through. But I really appreciate all your kind comments. I am still in tears for her. Nobody should have to go through that and what too many of you have gone through too.

Anyway...I'm traveling in business and on my phone so no personals except 3 I cannot wait on...

Anna- congratulations on your big accomplishment!

Rio- you are truly blessed, mama! They are both perfect. Thanks so much for sharing.

Blair- yay for DH getting in on the fun. Such a special moment.

Kim: You look terrific! And congrats on reducing your work hours...I know you have to be tired. I am exhausted and so worried about returning to work next week and I am 5 weeks behind you!

Lou: Sorry you don’t have your results yet. I would probably assume “no news is good news” but, for heaven’s sake it would be nice to get the official word!! Have fun at your shower on Sunday!! It will be great.

Alisa: So heartbreaking about your friend--but we are here to hear it all--so no apologies for sharing. Did you make a lot of progress on that paper you had to work on this weekend?

Rio: She is really, truly, beautiful. As in, take my breath away beautiful. And DS is adorable....you are truly blessed. I hope that your body heals up--you don’t deserve the pain during this time. And I hope you are ok with the bleeding...that doesn’t sound good to me. :-(

Annas: Yippee!!! Yes, indeed, August is HERE and Paul is not. (well, he is but you know what I mean!) Congratulations ...you are in the home stretch now. You have done such an amazing job baking him and it will all be worth it to get your big baby in your arms. And yes, isn’t the pool amazing?

Blair: Glad that you are getting to feel those amazing kicks...and DH too. It was really special for us when I could share it with him as well as feel it myself. And regarding the weight, I have gained a total of 15 lbs and my OB says that is fine, so I think you are doing well.

Leora: I continue to pray for you and David. You are indeed such a strong couple. Sending you a birthday ((HUG)).

AFM: Not much new to report. I have been trying to build up my energy level the past 2 weeks so that I can (probably) return to work next week. My hematoma is still there (grr) but appears stable . I see my OB tomorrow to double check on everything and confirm the plan. Sleeping has gotten really difficult for me, so most nights I am in the recliner. Feels early for me to be doing that, but sleep is important, and I'm not getting much, so whatever I can do! DH was sweet to drag it into our already crowded bedroom.

Margi -- I think we need a belly pic! I've been contemplating the recliner as well as my GERD is HORRIBLE!!! I am seriously talking a cup or more of liquid comes out my nose in my sleep! Sometimes it burns real bad and others it's just like water. I have to get up and change the sheets at least twice a week. I don't have too much trouble with heartburn during the day when I'm upright.... just this darn reflux at night.

Blissful -- Gosh.... that story is horrible. I can't imagine losing a baby at 40 weeks. I have to admit, that does scare me a bit. Did the baby die during labor or before? Is the cause unknown? I'm so sad for her.

KJM -- Wow 5 baby showers!!! That's a lot! I'm having two. One at work which was last week. It was nice and I got a lot of baby clothes, bibs, blankets, room decor, and a baby bjorn carrier. And then my "friends and family" shower is Sunday. I'm really excited. I'm not used to being the center of attention and it will be fun for a change...hehe.

AFM -- The nurse from my OB office left me a voice mail that I passed my 1 hr GD test!!! Woo hoo. I don't know what my blood sugar level was though. She also said I'm anemic and she is calling in a prescription iron supplement callet Ferralet 90. I'll have DH pick that up later. Next appt is August 10th. Then I start weekly NST's on 8/23. I feel like this is finally getting closer.... this Friday I will hit 30 weeks!!!! EEEK!

Hi ladies,
I initially began posting in the Feb/Mar board but after a cancelled cycle due to OHSS and a failed cycle in June I moved tithe Summer board. We had another attempt at an FET cycle in 7-20 and had a positive HPT in 7-24. On 7-29 1st Beta was 275 and today 2nd Beta was 1,513. I have to admit I am a bit nervous about the possibilities of multiples but I trust that God would not give us twins if we couldn't handle it. So we are happy with what're God's plan is buy I am still quite nervous. I think the Beta's are a bit high but don't really know for sure. Next Beta is this Friday 8-5 and 1st u/s on the following Friday 8-12. Not sure if I should be joining this board or the "Winter 2012" board because of the EDD is probably in early April. What do you ladies think? And what do you think about the Beta levels? I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Blair how awesome that DH finally felt both babies move :) It took forever for my dh to feel the baby kick and I so wanted to share it with him. I am so glad things are going well and deff smart move for registering already...the closer you get to the end the less you will feel like walking around the store

KJM So happy to hear that things are going well and yay for working less.

Lou and KJM I totally relate on the feeling huge..I am just not sure I have another 2 weeks in me. When the baby kicks now he kicks really high under my rib cage and his head is really low resting on my pubic bones and there is always an arm or an elbow or sticking out of my sides...lol as a matter of fact my belly moves like waves and often ends up uneven depending on which way he lays but I feel bad complaining after I witnessed baby blue give birth to two big boys on this board...I guess we are much stretchier than we think

Margi i am so glad you are getting your strength back and that the hematoma is stable. So have you and dh picked names yet? how is the nursery coming? Please know you are always in my prayers my friend

Rio it is great hearing from you how is your c-section scar healing?

AFM I have to admit I am starting to feel ...um not so well. At my check up on fri everything still looked stable but the pain in my groin bones is so bad now and when I lay down for a bit I feel like I can't walk at first....The heartburn is also through the roof even though I am taking stuff for it....Honestly I feel like my stomach is in my throat and I can barely eat at all and even when I manage to eat I feel nauseous and even sometimes like tonight throw up...(sorry tmi) I totally understand Margi on the whole sleep issue...I sleep in 1 hour increments. I sleep for an hour then have to go pee and then turn on my other side and repeat the process in 1 hour...lol Honestly the worst part is the heat outside but....enough complaining and thank you girls for listening to me whine  I do feel very blessed and will endure as long as needed. I have been having more pms type cramps the past couple of days and lots of BH contractions but otherwise still just waiting for my little miracle to finish cooking :) Only 16 days to my c-section :) :) :)

Anna- I am sure you are getting uncomfortable at this point so don’t worry about complaining here. The good thing is that means you are getting sooooo much closer to meeting baby Paul!! Its so crazy that you made it this far after everything you went through. Just a little more than 2 wks now!! You are definitely right about registering….even the other day I ended up taking a break in the glider section about half way through. Luckily DH was supportive and we were able to get in and out of Babies R Us in about an hour and a half so it wasn’t too tormenting. I can definitely see that both girls are developing different personalities which is exciting. Hopefully Paul will get over his camera shyness so you can post tons of pics once he is here.

WeHaveHope- Congrats!!!!!!! So exciting that you finally got your BFP! With the boards I would just post where-ever you want. Lots of ladies jump around and we have some people on here who aren’t due until 2012 anyway. The more the merrier! As for your betas I think they sound very healthy!! Ours were 667, 2244, then 15,181….but we had triplets that were making the levels shoot up. Either way sounds like you have a healthy little bean or two in there. Good luck with the next beta!!

Lou- Congrats on passing the GD test! Sorry to hear your anemic but sounds like almost everyone on this board will eventually have iron supplements. And almost 30 wks!!! Cant wait to see pics from your big shower on Sunday!

Margi- I was glad he finally felt the kicks…for the past few weeks whenever I said they were kicking and then he didn’t feel anything I almost felt like he didn’t believe me. He said maybe it was gas…but they really have been kicking for awhile now. At least now I know he believes me lol. Good luck at the OB today- hoping everything is still going well!! It was very sweet of DH to drag the recliner into the bedroom so you could at least still be together. As for the weight gain- I feel like even more of a chunker since Im already at 13 and 4 wks behind you. I know that they wanted me to gain a few extra lbs since I was on the verge of being underweight before though…as long as I get to 35-40 I will be happy though.

Alisa- Still so sorry to hear about your friend. How are things going for you? M/S any better?

Kjm- I promise I will post a new belly pic tomorrow or Friday since Ill be hitting the big 20 wk mark tomorrow!! Little milestone but feels like a big accomplishment in my books lol. Its so exciting that you get to start cutting back on work after this wk! You mentioned that you will likely be off after you do the 2 wks of 30-32 hrs…does that mean you are transitioning to be a stay at home mom? Congrats either way since Im sure less work may give you some extra energy.

Kat- Your friends shower sounds wonderful. I will admit its much easier going to baby showers now that Im pregnant too. Before I just got a little sad every time I went shopping for other peoples babies all the time.

AFM- Anxious to hit 20 wks tomorrow! Not sure why but I always heard that twins hitting 20 wks is like singletons hitting 12…less chance of issues. So im excited and we are more than halfway there! Getting bigger and will be hopefully posting a new pic tomorrow. I tried using the Doppler on the girls the other night and it was so funny because baby A must not have liked it and kicked so hard that she knocked the Doppler off. Nothing too exciting other than that. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi ladies,
I was finally able to log onto the Beta information site. Trust me, I know I am obsessing with this. Below is my Beta doubling time so far:

DPO Beta Doubling time from previous test
14 275 (none)
18 1513 39.03 hrs

What do you ladies think? I hope I entered it correctly.

Sending you all lots of love and peace,

Wehavehope - I just posted on the other board but I think you are defiantly pregnant.. LOL!! Your #'s are awesome. Try to sit back and enjoy.

Rio - Your baby girl is beautiful. How is your c-section scar doing?

Anna - I am so happy that you have made it farther then they Dr's predicted. Sorry that you are feeling so uncomfortable now but your in the home stretch. Not too much longer.

Lou - Congrats on passing the GD test!!

blair - That must have been an amazing feeling for your DH when he got to feel the kicks. My DH hasn't been able to feel them yet. usually if Jake gets into a mood to be kicking, as soon as i try to point them out he stops. One of these days I'll be able to catch him in the act for DH. Congrats on hitting the 20 week mark.

Margi - Hope your return to work is uneventful. I know at this point i would hate going back to work after being off for so long.

Bliss - I feel so sorry for your friend. that is one of my worst nightmares to go all the way through pregnancy and still not have a child to take home. Prayers to her and her family.

AFM - Nothing exciting to report. I went to the Peri for another u/s yesterday. Jake is stubborn and they are never able to get the pics of the heart that they want. Still the same yesterday, he either had his arm in the way or his spine cast a shadow. The peri did say from what he could see everything looks good. I will go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound. Since i have high blood pressure, insulin resistance and AMA the Peri wants to see me once a month. So much fun will all the Dr.'s appointments. The good thing is that Jake is now 1lb13oz which is in the 80% tile. I still haven't gained any weight so i am happy that he is still on the ball. Hope his weight gain keeps up so i am not bugged to eat more. Seems like i am eating all the time. Lots of times eating when i am not even hungry. If my non-weight gain is the only excitement in this pregnancy, i will be happy. oh and Darn it i sill haven't been able to get a 3d/4d ultrasound. Guess i will just have to pay out of pocket.

Wehavehope -- Welcome and congrats! My first beta on 14 dpo was 290, which is sorta on the high side and my RE said maybe the embie split into identicals because we only transferred one. My second beta was 3 days later on 17 dpo and was around 800. I had a doubling time of 48 hrs. It was a singleton. I don't think your first beta is indicative of either one or more but that your doubling time is less than 48 hrs could be more than one. My guess is TWO.

Chris -- Great to hear from you. Glad Jake is growing along nicely. Great for you keeping your weight in check. I'm up about 10-11 lbs as of last Thursday, which I'm fine with considering I eat chocolate and ice cream at least twice a day...lol.

AFM -- I'm doing well. A friend of mine who dabbles in photography took a few pics of me and sent me one of them which I will attach. It was done at 29w2d. I can't wait to see the rest of them! I'm alllllll belly!!!!! LOL
