I need a hug

Post by Traci »

Having a really crap day today , feel very hormonal without the hormones!!!!!!! perhaps my body has just realised it has just had another failed IVF! I thought it was too good to be true to get over the last one so easly. anyway I had a good cry and cleaned out my fridge and went on a bike ride and had an hour work out by my trainer. now after spending 2 hours on the msn with my dad I am actually going to plan my meals for the week and then make some cards. anyway just wanted some sympathy really :?

Oh Trace

Big big hugs coming your way - horrible to be having a down day. Cry and eat your way through it, lots of chocolate.

Haven't posted much but still always look out for you - you're the bravest you know.

This IVF life is so rotten, whether you're slap bang in the middle or taking a break from it - the longing and yearning for a baby is always there and I think it always will be.

So cry but know that you've got loads of us thinking of you.

I'm around if you fancy a chat.

Love Jen xx

Thanks jen , its weird I more worry about not having grandchildren too, it is ok some days cause I just deal with everyday then Bang and there is bugger all that you can do except get through the day. I try to think that there is always someone out there that has way more to be down about then me especially when I would much rather have a strait negative then get a + then loose it . do you know what I mean . OH well holiday to Mexico in 10 weeks thank god , I really need this for DH and I . off to make cards now and destress.

Traci,
you have my sympathy and admiration. You seem like such a strong, caring person and are the first to give everyon here comfort and gee them up. You deserve to have the odd off day!

Traci Sweetheart...cut yourself some slack! You've managed soooo well and yet are still here helping the rest of us. Why shouldn't you have a good cry and then feel better afterwards?

It always helps me to think of people I know who are so, so much worse off than me. Friends with health issues, yes they might have kids but that's no blessing if you're too ill to take care of them. A good friend was diagnosed with MS when she was 35. They'd been ttc so rushed to ivf before it was too late but it failed 3 times and now she feels so angry that she didn't try before she became ill. Another was deserted by her unfaithful lying husband 12 years ago, leaving her with a 1 and 3 yr old. He married again, had another 2 kids and then ran away from that marriage too. He's never paid a penny to either family and appears to have dropped off the face of the planet. When still in contact he used to phone every few months, tell her to have the kids ready by a certain time, then not show up. Her eldest boy is in therapy now. To make it even worse, my friend is only 41 but has serious joint, back and shoulder problems meaning she can't drive, work or even do things around the house. Her life is truly miserable.

See....you have your health, a loving DH, a supportive family, friends and colleagues who really care about you. A business and of course.....US! We love you too!

It's good to let yourself recognise life is crap at times. That's our benchmark when things feel better.

I hope this didn't depress you, the intention was the opposite!

love
Debra.

traci,

Big Hugs.

i know how it is to feel so down and it all feel so bleak, i keep telling you though ... IT WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU... but i know its so difficult to believe that for yourself. for sure you will have up and down days. don't beat yourself up over it or think that your not allowed to be down. you'll get through it, and there are so many people here that will help you.

big hugs,

Big Hug from me too Traci, I dont post much now, just lurk in the background!! We all have shitty days, the most frustrating thing is they can happen unexpectedly, without any obvious 'trigger'!!
Like Debra says, try to focus on the good things in life that you have, and there are many!
Chin up honey, hope you are feeling a bit better today, and the sun is shining!! :)
Lots of love always,

Sue

Oh Traci :(

I am sorry it's taken me so long to send you a BIG hug!!!

I had to go out yesterday afternoon.

You are such a special wonderful person and you don't deserve to be going through all of this crap. You do have a lovely husband who adores you and we all love you too. You have been such a huge support to us girlies on here and now you can get back some of the love and support from us.

And look, Loopy streched the page especially for you!!

I hope you are having a better day today and if you need me you know where I am. Just give me a buzz or a text, OK?

Take care my special friend.

Love Dagny xkx
