Lou - love the pic.. funny to think that only 13 weeks ago you barely had a bump. Ice cream is good. we have an ice cream vending machine at work and i hit it up about once a day.

I know!!! I "popped" somewhere around 23-24 weeks. My baby is also big... measured 3.25 lbs at 28w6d. This chart has averages. http://www.babycenter.com/average-fetal ... ight-chart. I was told she's 75th percentile. I've been concerned because we have a marginal attachment of the umbilical cord. So I'll have frequent NST's and growth scans starting at 32 weeks. Time for lunch.... and some ice cream!

Lou - Thanks for the link.. very interesting. My boy is also big compared to this. I didn't get his length yesterday but at my 22 weeks u/s he was measuring 12 inches and the charts says that at 24 weeks he should only be at 11.81 inches. wowzers, though i know ultrasounds can be off on their measurements. I figured he might be a long baby cus DH is 6foot7 and donor was 5foot7.. I'll be the shorty of the family.

Lou- What a great pic!! You are looking good and I cant wait to see more pics. Im hoping we can get some good pics before I end up with stretch marks all over...so far so good but I know its probably inevitable.
Fun- Im wondering how accurate that chart is too. Last wk at 19 wks both girls were measuring 10 oz each...and per the chart they should have been just over 8. I guess its good that I have some chunky little ones but I have heard that Ultrasound measurements can be off by quite a bit. My sister was told her baby was 8 + lbs and he came out 9 lb 14 oz...and that was with a scheduled c section at 38 wks! Hopefully Jake will keep up his kicking so DH can feel him soon.
Super quick! Bravado nursing tanks for 50% off! Black and white sold out I got a blue one and total cost was $25, the other websites are min $35 plus $10 shipping! It is selling off fast, those have a built in bra that rocks!
I am now having heavy bright red bleeding. I am so overwhelmed with sadness. Nothing i can do. Going home early from work. They will repeat Beta tomorrow instead of Friday. Everything was going so well. What has happened???

Wehavehope -- Try not to worry too much yet. I've seen many.... and I do mean many.... women on these boards bleed A LOT and their baby or babies are OK. In IVF, SCH or sub-chorionic hemorrhages are fairly common and more often than not, the baby is unaffected. And get off your feet! You'll be in my thoughts. Maybe that's what you are having. I had a small one at 6-8 weeks and spotted every day which was nerve wracking since that's how my m/c started. Margi has had a SCH almost throughout her entire pregnancy. Even more common in twins.

I went home early from work after the bleeding started. I was having some lower abdominal discomfort maybe cramping not sure and lower back pain. I went to the bathroom and the bleeding continued and then I noticed two blood clots that came out. I feel so absolutely devastated and hopeless. My God, why? I am not feeling optimistic. I realy want to believe that this is nothing to worry bout bit I can't stop crying

wehavehope...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news from you!
Lou...Your pic looks awesome! It's so good to hear that Chloe is doing so well! Yay for almost 30 weeks! Where the heck does the time go?!
Chris...Great weight on little Jake! My Isabella was stubborn too!
Blair...Congrats on hitting 20 weeks! That is such a big deal, I remember celebrating with DH when we hit that marker too!
Anna...I'm sorry you arent feeling well, but you have made it so far! The night my water broke the last thing I said to DH was "I know this is going to sound selfish, but I am so done being pregnant." Low and behold...a few hours later I was in labor! Yikes!
Margi...I hope you get the green light to go back to work!!!
Rio..Lizzy is beautiful! I love the pics with your DH too!
Alisa...That is just terrible about your friend. Her family is in my prayers.
KJM...Yay for last full week of work! You look great by the way!
Sorry I don't have time for more...I know one will be waking up very soon!
AFM...3 weeks old today! I cannot believe it! They had a pedi appt today and Dylan is 7lbs13oz and Isabella is 7lbs1oz...they chunked up pretty quick! I was hoping we could switch from the preemie formula to regular formula, but doc said not yet. Its pretty hard to find! I've been pumping for them and I hate it. My milk is dwindling down which bums me out, but I just always have sore boobs and a fever! Sorry I don't post as much....quite sleep deprived with DH back at work!
Good luck to everyone...I follow every day and love to read your updates!

Ryann: have you looked for formula on amazon? They have a program called Amazon Moms, where you spend $25 a month and you get free two day shipping, plus no sales tax! I bought all DD's diapers (additional 20% off each time), formula, wipes, toys, etc. from Amazon . . . saved a ton of $$$$$ . . . one you spend $250, you have free two day shipping for the whole year (3.99 for next day--no matter the size!) . . . tremendous deal . . . oh, and once you have free shipping for the year, it can be used on anything that is shipped Amazon prime: clothes, bedding, stuff for you/DH, etc. I should be a spokesperson for Amazon
Alisa -hope your friend is holding in there - that has to be so hard. Hope your travels have been safe and uneventful!
Margi - This week is getting harder for me - maybe I know I''m towards the end... I'm not really tired but the last couple of days I go back to work after lunch and my bladder is constantly tight and I can not move very well - esp going sit to stand or bending over - things I do all day long. Guess my body is saying rest more!! I hope your OB appt went well. It would be hard returning to work after being off so long, esp at this stage when you are already getting bigger and more fatigued. Sorry you are having problems sleeping.
Lou - Yeah - 5 is a lot but most of them are small - just very different groups of people and very different locations - MN, IN, AL. Great job passing GD test. Yes, iron and me are not friends - I can not get mine to raise. I am afraid the doctor will make me get IV iron when I see him on Monday. Doesn't sound fun. Also I love your picture - you really have popped - you have been so small for so long - you look terrific - all belly!!! Are you still exercising? If so how much? I try but am down to 1-2 times a week on a bike trainer and 2 nights of pilates. Feeling like I have given up but just don't have it in me most nights.
Rio - thanks for keeping us posted on all the great deals!! I need the advice on nursing bras as none of my friends have breast feed and I have no sources. I hope your incision is all healed. I know you are loving every minute with little Lizzy.
Wehavehope - I hope you are doing OK. Like Lou said - a lot of the ladies on this board have had some bleeding. I so hope that is it. You will be in my prayers for nice, high beta numbers tomorrow. Take it easy and try and rest.
Anna - complain away - we are so glad to have you here yet and complaining about pregnancy. I know I will be the same way in a few weeks if not sooner. Keep up the great work - you are getting so close!!
Blair - Congrats on 20 weeks - I kept thinking now I am more than 1/2 way there!!! I do plan on going back to work after my FMLA runs out. My job is just getting to be too much, I am constantly changing positions (which was great early on but now is wearing on me) and I have to do a lot of pushing and pulling. I try to modify but I am so stubborn I forget to ask for help. So I put in some "planned" vacation so I would not have to start FMLA too early.
Chris - wow - way to grow Jake!!! Sounds like you are doing great considering some of the other medical conditions!
Ryann - I can not believe they are 3 weeks old already. Time is going so fast. They are really growing fast, that is great. So are you able to give them breast milk as well or no because of the fever? Hopefully you will start getting more sleep in the near future. Great job momma!!!

Kjm...yes they are getting breas milk too. At first all of their day time feedings were breast milk and night time feedings were formula. Now with their growing appetites and my dwindling supply they prett much only get one breast milk feeding a day Oh well. I did as much as I could for as long as I could. I'm gonna call my doc tomorrow because the fever is up to 101* today. No symptoms other than sore boobs and fever aches. Hopefully I'll be able to keep pumping a little longer, but I also can't tale care of the twins when I feel so icky!

Ryann -Sorry you have the achy fever thing going on - that would be very hard to care for twins. You have done very well getting breast milk to them, they are growing well and that is what is important. I hope you feel better soon! I too am going to try and breast feed. I know I can only do the best I can and it has to be so hard with twins, esp when they are your first.

DH came how and he is visibly sad but trying hard to keep his spirits up. Mostly, I think he is doing it for me and I love him so much for that. I am so scared because of the cramping, bleeding, and especialy the blood clots. This was alot of blood. I just went to the bathroom a while ago and there is still blood but a bit on the darker red. It is also not dripping like it was initially but i am still having cramping I think that's what it is. The bleedibg has slowed down after expelling what I think were two blood clots. God, I pray really hard that everything is ok. Please, please, let everything be ok. Why does this have to be so difficult? And, God I know others have gone through worse and I know you have a plan, I do. I just wish I knew what that plan was for us. Sorry guys
