So glad this list has expended to all of 2012. I'm thrilled to say I am now 12 weeks along and am almost done with my first trimester!!!!!!! Our due date is 2/15/12

We have only told family about our "secret surrogate" and will tell our friends after maybe about 20 weeks or more want to make sure the baby is healthy. But we will do a gender reveal of some sorts to our family but since they are scattered all over we will probably find some cute picture of either pink or blue and then text or email it to everyone. We have a chance to see the gender with a BIG maybe on Friday (16 weeks on the nose, dr said something about the uterus already being stretched out since this will be her 7th pregnancy). But might not be until the next appt at 20 weeks.....maybe we will splurge & do a 3-D in the mall and see the gender! Got to run ladies but will check in later.......Kt

Wishingandhoping- of course I remember you! I would have stalked you but I found the summer board really hard to keep up with along with this one. I was so sad about your mc and so excited that you had another BFP. Welcome! Your beta doubling time is faster than mine. I was really worried about it being 53 hours. As you can see, it turned out to be nothing to worry about. Just below is a link to Ghost's response to my question on doubling time. This is the place to share and we have all had the same fears, so don't worry about sharing your fears. We are here for support.

Dogzrule- DH loves your screen name. He is a dog nut and I assume you are as well. Congrats on your terrific Beta's and welcome to the board. I look forward to finding out if you have one healthy bean or a couple in there. I am so excited for you ladies to have your first ultrasounds!

Dallas- your reveal sounds complex and wonderful! How thoughtful of you to include your family in TN in the fun. I think we are going to wait until the weekend for family to come together so I am going to try to schedule the appointment on a Friday. It will be so tough to wait! I am glad your fam understands that. I can't believe it is already almost here. So anxious to hear what flavors you are baking.

Easley- I already had you on the list from when you stopped into our old "Due in Winter" board to ask about beta levels. Glad things are still going well for you and "welcome back" to the board. Thanks for the due date. Woohoo on making it 9 weeks! Thats a BIG deal. So sorry for your losses in January.

Addy- I was hoping you would share your announcement photos. Just adorable.

AFM- the anniversary trip was amazing. I can't believe how silly I looked in lingerie though. Ha ha. I feel like I am really, really big for 15 weeks and the black lace, fitted, VIctoria Secret outfit I chose for Saturday night accentuated every curve...including the bump. It was hilarious. I will post an updated bump pic soon (NOT a lingerie pic...lol).

Okay, so I know we all feel like we are supposed to LOVE being pregnant because we had to work so hard at it...but be honest...what aspect of being pregnant is driving you nuts? And what do you like most about it and look forward to most? (We know its the baby...but what about the pregnancy itself? )

Hello everyone!

Addy- That announcement with m&m's was so cute! I love it! I also love all of the gender announcement ideas (IVF often ruins the surprise of the original announcement!)

I'm having a pretty tough day. It started off well...beta is now 9964 and my progesterone is up to 21.2...all good news. Unfortunately I started bleeding (bright red) this afternoon. After my last miscarriage, I'm obviously fairly worried. I called my RE, and the nurse said to get off of my feet. I'm a physician, so I can't really sit all day. My DH rushed over to my office to pick me up, and they rescheduled my patients (who are probably not very happy). I'm having an ultrasound tomorrow...more rescheduling patients. Now that I'm lying down, the bleeding has turned brown. No more cramping than usual, but we'll see what's going on. Saying lots of prayers...

Wishing - I am praying with every fiber of my being that it was nothing and everything is OK......please stay off your feet and remain hydrated. I will check back for an update.....try to relax and stay calm and take care of your self....

I still have morning sickness! Nausea, vomiting, etc. Still getting up at night to eat too I was looking forward to the second trimester because with DD, that's when I started to feel like myself again . . . Looking forward to my DD grasping the concept that she's going to be a big sister . . .

Thank you everyone for all of the prayers and encouragement! I saw my RE today, and he saw 2 gestational sacs with yolk sacs and fetal poles. He could even see the little flicker of a heart with one. It's too early to be able to get a rate, and the other was harder to see. He was very reassuring. Unfortunately there is some bleeding around one of the gestational sacs. I assume that is the subchorionic hemorrhage that so many women seem to have. He said bedrest may help, but he didn't say I had to go on bedrest. I'm going to try to go back to work tomorrow and see what happens. Lots of continued prayer!

Bliss- To answer your "question of the week"- What's driving me crazy? Mainly worry...unfortunately for us IVF ladies, the worry doesn't seem to stop. I'm also having a lot of nausea...morning, noon, and night... Zofran seems to help some.

I'm really looking forward to having a real bump and getting some cute maternity clothes. I know women complain about their bodies changing, but I'm really looking forward to that bump! I think there are a lot of cute maternity clothes out there!

Wishing- I know you aren't exactly excited about the potential issue with one baby...but I am still so happy that everything remains okay today and you even saw the flicker of one little heart. That's a great sign! I'm betting both babies continue to grow just fine.

Hey guys - did any of you have cramping shortly after your 1st positive beta. i am cramping now. no bleeding ( at least not yet). but pretty bad cramps. is this normal?

LYD10 - I commonly had some cramping after positive BETA one thing it could be is your uterus stretching I was told that a few times & also don't let yourself get dehydrated drink lots of water that can cause cramping too. I don't think you have much to worry about especially since you have no bleeding. BTW....Congratulations! I am so happy for you!
