Welcome to the world baby Paul!!! Glad mama and baby are safely with us. Can't wait to hear the details.

Blair- I think you are right on track lady! And I also think we also view pregnancy in our own unique way. As thrilled as I am about finally being pregnant, I have been getting nervous since reality has settled in over the last few weeks. Nothing we can however...the pain train has already left the station...so why worry? :D

Kat- it is so sweet that you are sad about your son leaving the nest. And so cool you are welcoming a new LO into the world too.

Lou- the nursery is gorgeous!

AFM- took a vacation day today to rest up for a busy and intense two weeks ahead at work. DH and I went out of town to celebrate our last anniversary as just the two of us. He golfed and I exercised by walking most of the holes and putting for "Baby Winslow". He hit two balls off the tee...one for him and one he scored under Baby Winslow. I did the putting for his second shot once he had it on the green. I don't feel like twisting and jarring the way you do when you play golf. However many friends have told me they played the best golf of their lives during pregnancy due to loose ligaments. It didn't seem to help my putting at all. :-) Baby Winslow and I were beaten by a stroke. :-(

My dearest friends,
I am on my iPhone so I will try an do personals a but later. Just wanted to let you know that, as I thought, the Beta came back even lower at 428 today. I sm officially at the end of this road and will stop all my meds today. May my little ones rest peacefully in the glory of God and the angles who visited me to let me know they were going to be safe.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for showing mr so much love and support. Thank you for always keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. I love you all more than any words I can ever post on this board. I am eternally greatfull.

For those of you going through difficult times, don't give up hope. Stay focused in your dreams. Have faith that this difficult journey will lead to where it needs to lead each and everyone of us. It's not an easy journey, but I haven't given up and neither should you. My next cycle will hopefuly, God willing be sometime in October. I'll give you all more details later but I am thinking that maybe I should start a "Fall Cycle" board. Only thinking about it right now. We will see. I am officially leaving this board but will check on each and everyone if you from time to time.

Sending you all much love.

Miss Lizzy gained 5oz in 3 days! Woohoo! Also the pedi said he could not hear the murmur today and thinks it might have resolved itself!! I have to stay on the mommy torture for a while longer but it is paying off! For the girls with c-sec, my scar has a 1 in gap that is still oozing and bleeding some, the ob on fri said it looked fine, argh, anyone experience this? Also my german shepherd missed the bed and jumped on my scar, ouch! I am 2weeks post csec.

Annas. Big huge congrats on baby paul! Cant wait to hear all about it!

Amanda thanks for the advice, our ds had bad colic and mylicon worked wonders also burping him sitting up helped a ton, you put one hand on their chest and the other hand you ppat them.

Gina thanks, we went to a lactation consultant and she helped, we need more pics of your gorgeous boys!

Leora i would look into coming to the us too, seems like from what the girls said a tac should help, your ob might be great but he scares me...

Blair i think we are more prepared for pregnancy because it doesnt just happen to us like to other people, our fears are on losing the baby and something going wrong not so much the regular fears of your life changing

Bliss so glad you had fun and played it safe

Lou gorgeous nursery! I love how our nurseries start out prefect then whenkiddos take over they put their own touch on the decor :) i have the same bassinet! How was the shower?

Sweetpea wow i cant believe you have a kid in college already, must be so hard to see them go, makes me want to cry just thinking of that day, good luck!

Margi i second belly pics, have you gone back to work yet?

SD- I cant believe you are already creeping up on 30 wks!! Guessing things are going smoothly.

Rio- Woo hoo for 5 oz in 3 days!!! That’s great. And also exciting news that they think the murmur has already resolved itself. Hopefully the torture will end soon but at least you know its worth it. I think you are right about us experiencing pregnancy as opposed to people who just get pregnant. We worry about all the things that could potentially go wrong between now and birth...and are less worried about once the baby is actually here.

WeHaveHope- So sorry to hear that the beta continued to go down, but very glad to hear you are not going to give up the fight. 4th time was the charm for me and Bliss I believe so hopefully this 4th shot is what you needed. Wishing you all the best.

Anna- Cant wait to see those pictures and hear all about how Paul made his appearance into the world. Hope you are both doing well.

Alisa- I think you are right-it still shocks me sometimes when I look down and realize I really am pregnant. DH even said the other night that sometimes he forgets I am pregnant until he looks down and sees my big belly. Glad you took a vacation day to relax and celebrate your last anniversary as just the two of you. I haven’t been golfing recently because I didn’t want to jar the babies around but it does sound like you had a good time. Our 4 yr anniversary actually falls on Thanksgiving this year, which would also be the 36 wk mark…so we could very well have 2 new additions by then. Maybe we will take a wknd trip somewhere close though just to enjoy each other before then.

Klinger- I honestly cannot believe Maribel is already 1 month and 4 days old. Despite the “cry-a-thons” I'm sure you are enjoying every second of having her with you. Hopefully you can figure out which tricks really work for her.

AFM- I think my girls were in a battle yesterday. For most of the day there were punches/kicks from both sides back and forth. Then there was a jumble of bumps that came from the middle (since they are laying next to each other who knows who those were. They are definitely getting stronger as now you can see the kicks from the outside. My brother, sister, and brother in law all witnessed the battle last night from afar.

Rio - So glad to hear that "mommy torture" is working for Lizzy! Also, YAY for the murmur resolving itself! Sounds like everything's going well with little miss.

Lou - I can't wait to hear about your shower and all your new goodies!

Wehavehope - So sorry to hear about your loss. I was so sure you were experiencing a SCH, it broke my heart to hear about your numbers dropping.

Amanda - Sorry to hear about the cry-a-thons. I know how frustrating and heartbreaking those can be. I hope little Maribel gets to feeling better soon!

Blair - I completely agree with early prep with twin pregnancies. You just never know what's to come! Mine was held during my mid-20s weeks, too. Even if everything is ok (aka no bed rest or restrictions) you want to be somewhat comfortable so you can enjoy yourself and that's very unlikely the closer to 30 weeks you get.

To everyone I missed - Keep on growing those beautiful babies! I can't wait to see all the pics that are soon to come!!! And to move everyone over to the PARENTS AFTER TREATMENT board

afm - Jaxon and Brady are really growing so fast, around 11 lbs apiece already! They both have been officially nicknamed. Brady is "Fuss Fuss" because unless he's eating or being held, he's fussing. And Jaxon is "Sprinkles" or "Squirt" because he messes on Daddy during most diaper changes. LOL

I'm heading back to work a week from Monday... :( I'm gonna miss them so stinking much! My MIL will be coming to our house to watch them since we work nights, it'll just be so much easier on everyone, especially the boys. But if all goes according to plan, she should only have to be here a handful of hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

We're in desperate need of a family vehicle, which we should be able to get once I've been back to work for a couple of months. Right now, DH and I both own Grand Prix and the Safety 1st onBoard 35 car seats we have are way too big for our cars, but we make it work for now. I really badly want a Chevy Traverse (due to the fact that I desperately do not want a minivan UGH!) but the gas milage isn't the greatest. We need room for 7, so our options are limited.

Sorry I'm babbling.

Hope everyone's doing great!

Annas - CONGRATS!!!!! you have to be such a proud momma. Way to carry him to term. You have had an amazing journey and I am sure this is just the beginning of the happiness Baby Paul will bring you.

Blair - yeah, I think I am going to pass on the belt - cant see myself liking it. I have found standing or leaning works better so I try and do that often though out the day.

Margi - I hope work was not too bad for you today. Sorry about your back hurting - we have opposite problems. But it has to be hard after being on bedrest for so long - you lost a lot of your muscle to support the back - not to mention the growing belly. I try to do a lot of stretches during the day - arms over head, side leans, stretching arms forward and then behind my back - also lots of pelvic tilts and kegels!! (is that OK with your hematoma?)

Wehavehope - I am so sorry to hear about your loss - I was so hoping and praying it was just a vanishing twin (which would be hard but you have atleast one). Good luck for your trial in the fall - sounds like the 4th try has been lucky for several of the girls. I know it is hard but just focus on it working and don't let your mind over doubt that - I believe in the power of the mind. All my best...

Rio - yes yes yes - little lizzy is gaining weight. Great job mom!!! I know it must be horrible on you but look how it is paying off. that is great that the heart murmur is gone too! I don't think your scar should be open and bleeding/oozing at this point. Mine was well healed by 2 weeks (even though not c-section, but same scar). What color is the oozing and does it smell funny? Is there redness around the area or streaking red lines? I would worry about infection. That can cause wounds not to heal. You also my be healing slow due to no sleep and lack of rest - wounds need that time to heal. And the dog jumping on it couldn't have helped. Best of luck - hope it heals soon.

Alisa - I hope you are feeling better. What you have gone through sounds horrible. Hopefully you are on your way to recovery. I don't know if I played the best golf either pregnant but I sure hit the ball straight. I took so much off my swing that I also didn't hit the ball very far. But I had a lot of fun cause it just didn't matter, I just enjoyed being out with my husband. I think I was golfing again by 15 weeks - how are the ovaries feeling? Have they gone down yet?

Leora - you are never crashing. I am so proud of the steps you are taking to have the best outcome next time - and I am excited that you are thinking about a next time. I don't know much on TAC etc... but it sure sounds like you need one with as quickly as your cervix disappeared. You are very strong and I know you will have your baby soon. You have so many followers and well wishers. We are all with you every step of the way - lean as much as you need, vent or whatever - we are here for you.

Lou - I love you beautiful pink girlie nursery. It is gorgeous. Hope you had a good shower.

Blair - you are right on target as far as getting things done. Does you friend not understand that you have twins and the increased risk of preterm labor you have. Not to mention getting so big you can hardly move later on. On your friend being afraid - I think with everything we have had to go through we just don't think about that side of things, yes I am afraid but it does me no good to worry about it - I've gone through so much without a wonderful baby at the end - It just seems worth it, so I will deal with that at the time.

Kat - Wow, one of to college and one on the way. It must be hard, but atleast your mom is close by. From what I understand the belt helps with back pain but may be uncomfortable. I think I am going to pass - I just don't think it would help my situation. Now standing and leaning as helped - I try not to sit as much.

Amanda - Sorry Maribel is crying so much. Hopefully she outgrows it or some of the suggestions the other ladies had will help. I have never gone through it so I feel silly giving advice but I read the happiest baby on the block book and it talked about the 5 S's. Have you heard of it? or tried it? I dont know if it works but is sounds reasonable.

Stephanie - wow, they are growing so fast. I can't believe you are heading back to work already - time flies. Love the stories.

AFM: I had a great shower with my volleyball and mountain bike friends. they really surprised my with their gifts. It was also just to have a chance to sit down and visit with some of my best friends - there as only 10 of us so it was very relaxed and enjoyable. I also saw the OB yesterday. I am measuring at 37 weeks - which I figured. wow - I will likely be at 48 if I deliver after 36 weeks like I hope. Otherwise all is well. He recommends that I do not work afternoons but I have so few left (4)... I said I will see how I feel - if I am not having any problems and my bladder isn't too tight. My husband yells at me. I have always put my patients ahead of me - it is just so hard giving them up. But I know I have to put myself and the babies first!

Hope everybody is doing well!!

Kjm- Yea since you are further along and already have bladder issues I would probably pass on the belt too. We spent $30 on mine and ive only used it a couple times. I thought it was a good idea to get things done sooner than later so that I could be a part of it. Not to mention- my first shower is only 6 wks away so we had to register so people had some time to look around. And like you said- I'm already more than triple the size that my friend is (shes barely showing at all), so I would much rather be able to walk around the store and not be wheeled around…or have to take breaks every few minutes. And I think you are right- weve gone through so much to get to this point that the pain/discomfort of labor is just a part of it. Glad you had a great shower and were able to relax with your friends. And measuring 37 wks is right on track since youre supposed to be 6-8 ahead.

Stephanie- Its so good to hear that other twin moms had earlier showers. I just wanted to play it safe since theres a chance I could end up on bedrest or with PTL. Since one of the showers is an hour and a half away I didn’t want to delay it too much. I'm sure finding a vehicle to fit 7 (2 of which are in carseats is tough). How are you liking the Safety 1st OnBoard 35 car seats? Those are the ones we registered for and I loved them in the store.

Margi- How was work? Hoping you survived without too much pain or discomfort.

Ryann- How are you and those babies? We never heard back from you after you said you thought it was mastitis so hoping its better by now.

I was thinking the same thing, Blair. Ryann, hope you are doing okay, I've been thinking about you and hope you are feeling better. I'm sure those babies are keeping you super busy. :)

After being gone 7.5 weeks, my hubby is on his way home from Australia. Can't wait to see him, and can't wait to see his face when he sees Marlo tonight at the hospital...yes we are still there. It's endless. She is almost 14 weeks old, and her due date was Monday. Eating is the issue keeping us there. Hopefully soon. She is up to 5lbs 10oz now!

I hope you all are well. I love reading how things are going. You are all in my thoughts.

Thanks for checking on me ladies. I have mastitis so the doc put me on an antibiotic. My boobs feel better but I can't kick the darn fever! I made the difficult decision to quit pumping. I was drying up anyways and only getting 1oz total each pumpng session.

We found out Dylan is lactose intolerant so that explains part of his meltdowns. We switched him to soy and can tell he's a little better. I had tried gas drops and gripe water, but the boy just likes to cry!

Isabella was chosen to be my baby because someone knew Dylan would be difficult :) She is an absolute angel. She eats and then wants to be swaddled back up and put down. She doesn't even really care to be held much...little miss independent!

They are 4 weeks today, which seems absolutely crazy to me. I'm sorry for the lack of personals...this is a lot of work!!!!

I miss all you ladies and read multiple times a day still!!!!

Mellow...Marlo is doing awesome! I'll keep praying for a release date soon!!!!
