Lauren - I'd be so fucking pissed, I don't even know what I'd do. The weirdest thing is that with all these hormones we all go crazy, so why wouldn't these offices expect for us to go bat-shit insane on their asses when they do shit like this? Oh man, I'm mad for you.

Always - I'm so sorry, hun. Keep us posted. I know you must be devastated and I'm so sorry.

Ester - WOOOHOOOO. This is it for you, dude. It's awesome that you're having so much fun with friends. I think I might try and book myself up a little more this time to get my mind off of all this craziness. I totally understand about the irritability thing. I haven't even started stims yet and all the underlying annoyance with my husband has already started. It's like cognitive environment or something. The minute I hear the words IVF I start hating him again. I had an ear infection (a really bad one) and i was cooking those stupid herbs and doing fifty things at once and he didn't even offer to go pick up my antibiotics for my ear for me. in fact, he didn't offer to do anything and laid down on the couch with a blanket with no room for me. MOTHERFUCKER. See? It helps to vent.

LYD - You're so preggers. Can't wait til tomorrow.

AFM - I got herb pills instead of cooking herbs and am thanking buddha or whatever for them :) HSS tomorrow. Hopefully, all will go well and I'll start Lupron. Yay shots!! Ugh.

P.S. For those just getting used to me: I swear like a sailor...sorry...my baby's first word will be "****."

Christy! Fingers are crossed for you!

Anton-So sorry hun. I'm on the fall board along with many other lovely ladies. I hope we see you over there. You are such a delight. I don't know how you have been able to be so beautiful through so many disappointments.

Lyd-So sorry for your loss.

AFM-I've joined the Fall board. I finally got AF today so tomorrow starts the BCP for the FET cycle. Take care all. I'm going to continue to lurk to follow you all. I've been MIA for a while as I adjusted to this process and I had my family here for 2 weeks on a vacation. It was crazy busy.

With much back and forth I finally decided to POAS last night... BFN!! Not even a little hint of an extra blue line... (10dp5dt)
As of this morning I still haven't gotten AF; 28th day was yesterday so I thought for sure yesterday would have been a good time to test. So not feeling postive at all. I know there might be a glimmer of hope; AF still hasn't arrived today so maybe I tested too soon. My beta is Friday 8/12; so only time will tell.

Sorry for no personals; I am at work and have to jump off the internet. But wanted to vent a little as I feel so down in the dumps. If it is seriously a BFN - my DH & I will never be parents as this was our last chance. We do not have the money to continue on this journey.

Thanks for listening. I think about all you wonderful ladies and hope and pray for the best for you all!!!

Wow i don't even know where to begin...Lyd10 Thinking of you today as you go in for the beta! :)

Lauren- My old doctor would not call me back until around 7pm and on my beta day (last cycle) I didn't even show up I met with my new RE instead! New clinic said it will be around 2pm Friday week, cannot wait. They seem much more efficient, I guess sometimes it takes finding a new RE even if it means driving 2.5 hours to the clinic.

Always, did I read that right that your last beta was 22,000, how did the levels get so high? I am truly thinking of you girl!

AFM: Dh is so sick this morning, maybe he got what I had on Sunday? Hopefully Emetrol will help if he can hold that down. So I went to Winn Dixie and got lots of Gateraid, Sprite, Coke, saltine crackers, watermelon and soup if he feels up to eatting. Wishing I didn't have to work this afternoon... Tomorrow is going to be a better day I can feel it, implantation begins Thurs-Fri (around the 5th day right?) :) Anyway thinking of you ladies this morning sending you some baby dust.

Well Girls I have been "stalking" you all since May. I think it is time that I offically join the Summer Board. Little bit about me I am 39 husband is 36. I have a 22 year old son. DH has low count and morph. So first visit to RE he went straight to IVF with ICSI. Started lupron on May 26th and went for baseline appt, I had a cyst so was canceled. Started Lupron again on June 28th and stimmed for 10 days. That cycle was cancelled because I was a low responder. So yesterday I started the Micro Dose Lupron and start stimming tomorrow. This time the double my stims to 300 units of Follitism in the am and 300 units of Menapor in the PM. Have any of you girls been on the micro dose protocal before? I am looking forward to see how I respond this time, but I am also worried that I am going to be taking a lot of hormones, and what that will do to me?! This could be very interesting

Always – I am so sorry to hear about your news. You’d think after all we do to get a BFP it should stick with us for the nine months.

22yearslater- Welcome!! Hopefully this cycle will go get you through to the procedures then to a BFP!!! I am not familiar with the micro dose protocol. But hopefully someone on here is!!

MaTina – Don’t give up hope just yet, all of the nurses after my 5 day transfer told me never to take or believe those HPTs.

Sunshine – Hope you DH feels better soon!

Lauren – I am in shock that your RE’s office did not call you back! Have you heard anything yet?

Lauren319 – Thank goodness for the herbal pills!! Good luck on your HSS today. Let us know if you will be definitely starting!! Are you doing the long Lupron protocol?

AFM- On hold…. my RE wants me to stay on the BCP for another week to suppress longer. Next u/s scheduled for Tuesday 8/16. Yesterday the nurse used the word follicle, which I assumed was my egg that was going to be released for this month, but today on the phone she used the word cyst ….

Ladies - the doc just called - my beta is 66. cautious optimism, cautious optimism! i am back on monday (in 5 days) for beta #2.

well - this is better than 2 cycles ago, when my beta was 20 and i had an ectopic. My DS was a beta of ~80 i think.

Oh My God - here is hoping real hard that this litlle embryo continues to thrive. I hope its not a chemical or ectopic. Please please please let this little guy grow and develop nicely.

Urgh, after having gone through as much as all of us go through here - i am so cautious and so not assuming anything. But i really want this one to work out!

Dear all, apologies for being mia for a bit - work a little demanding.

Alwaysangel: Oh I'm so so sorry. I can't imagine the shock you must have felt. Words are so inadequate. I'm just so sorry.

Prayers: How are you feeling?

Lauren: How are you? That is just awful that the clinic didn't ring you back. Seriously bad practice

Madame X: Hmm, the different language is not useful from your nurse. I know they can take it all for granted that we know what they mean - but often we don't. How are you feeling?

Wishing: Are you resting? Feeling ok?

Sunshine: How is that fibre going (or should I even ask?!) Hope dh is feeling better soon.

Lauren 319: Has the nausea passed? I absolutely love the fact that you vent and swear, I laugh so much when I read about your irritability - believe me, when I read the abbreviation dh when I was joining I kept thinking - "I can't call him that - there are times when I want to kill him" - and thats nothing to do with IVF!!! My sister adopted from Ethiopia at the beginning of the year and we are absolutely sure his first words will be "for ****'* sake"!!

Longtimerivf: I hope things have settled a little in your family. I also love your quote, thanks for sharing it.

Tina: Oh I really hope its just that its a bit early for a result. And the whole financial aspect of IVF is just terrible, its bad enough that its difficult to conceive without having the additional concern of cost. I'm not sure if the US system is different from the Irish one where its actually impossible to get any funding at all for it, but even if there is part-funding I can imagine the cost is huge. I'm sending you lots of positive vibes tonight.

Moorebaby: thats really terrific that things are looking so good. And I must remember to write my numbers down the next time! And from your descriptin - I'm soooo looking forward to gonal-f (not!)

22yearslater: Nice to 'meet' you :) I'm a relative newbie to IVF in general but these ladies are great!

Lyd10: brilliant, brilliant, brilliant - see thats the beauty of being able to hold the hope for someone else - and I'm being really hopeful for you :)

Afm: Nurse has upped my puregon to 300 and I'm back on Friday for a scan (this time writing down the numbers). Stomach definately feeling the difference. When my sister went through all her IVFs we said she should write a book and she said she would call it "thank God for big stretchy pants" - referring to how bloated she would get - now I understand and in fact can endorse her book wholeheartedly!

Ninde

Silly question - but whats a bcp?
