Congrats Lyd I know how you feel to be cautious but, you'll get confirmation on your 2nd beta-- that little bean is snuggling u there. Tina- don't get discouraged- it seems a little early and I'm not convienced by some of the hpt's either... Lauren 319- hilarious!! I loved when u said just give me a baby already! Hope everyone is doing well-- I started back at work today, and our new Principal asked teachers to share what happened over the summer- and of coarse like 5 teachers announced they are pregnant or they had babies.. Blah blah. Anyways, excited for my next beta on Fri. My DH and I decided not to tell family until the first u/s just because we are "cautious" like Lyd. Well, hope u all have a great night.

Only have a second to post, but I had to say CONGRATS to Lyd10!! That beta will look great on Monday!!!

I went back to work today. No further bleeding, so hopefully things will settle down. Thanks for all of your prayers and support! I'll post more personals soon!

Honey, remember we all love you and are here foe you. Don't loose faith. It will happen. Give yourself all the time you need right now. I apologize first of all because I know that I'm suppose to post personals, but I'm so crunched for time. I promise to do much better next week. You have been so nice to welcome me and give me advice. Today I just got an overload of information and wanted to share it with my fellow fragile x carriers. Forgive me if you already know this, but it was all new info. to me. I have been emailing (with the advice from Lauren319- thank you!!!) some people who deal with fragile x and ivf. A dr. from the mind institute in Sacramento basically is going to turn my ivf schedule upside down. We are going to take her advice. She told us to start working with people that deal with fragile x. We are changing our RE. This new doctor is in LA which is going to be farther from us, but as you all know we'll do anything. We are also going to do genetic testing with a place in Chicago. I feel like I'm firing my RE, but I think they'll understand why we're switching. It's daunting to think about starting this all over again, but I hope it will be worth it. She also told me that women with fragile x get cysts more frequently ( I just saw Madame x write something about this). I got one that kept coming back and thank heavens it went away. I'm really nervous and anxious to get started. Today is our wedding anniversary and I pray that getting all this news today is a good sign. We spent our anniversary doing research to have a baby......How romantic!

So i thought i would share. Ok ladies, I think AF is officially here!!! But I am not 100% sure. Since my MC was only last Wednesday, I am not sure if it is truly AF or some other type of bleeding but I am pretty confidant it is AF. On Monday when. Spike to my RE he was confidant that once I stopped the Crinone and the Vivelle Patches that AF would visit by Wednesday or Thursadat. I swear I think he is fortune teller. I don't know how he nails these dates down to the exact date but he does. Mow if he could nail down and tell us dick cycle is going to give us a happy healthy baby or tw o that would be fantastic. But I'm sure I'm asking for way to much, or am I??? Well, I will call him today a's he instructed. The idea is if this in fact is AF then he will have me go unto the office and do b/w and u/s a's usual to start an FET cycle and start me on BCP. We are doing it tjis way so that we dont miss the opportunity to begin suppression. Any otherway we would be taking a chance and almost guaranteeing a missed cycle and then this wiuld push us back to November. The only caveat to all this is that I will still need to wait for my Hch levels to drop to zero so I must remain on BCP until then. That may take a little longer than we would like but there is not much we can do. However I am pretty confidant and hopeful that if my falling Hcg levels last week are a blueprint for how they will continue to fall then we may not be waiting to long. Last week the levels were dropping dramatically.

So my dear friends, please pray that this is truly AF and nothing else. And please pray that my Hcg level continues to fall quickie so we can begin this cycle soon. I will let you guys know what my RE says when I speak to him this morning. Feeling pretty optimistic about this cycle. God, please let this be the one. Sending you all lots of love.

Teachergirl –I think it is awesome that you are doing all this research!! Please share any info that you think will benefit us. Also, so exciting that you are going to give it another shot!! Questions, if you are going to do your procedures in LA, how are you doing genetic testing in Chicago? How are they changing your IVF schedule? Happy Anniversary, and I think planning for a baby is a great way to spend your anniversary!!!

P.s. Thanks for the info on the cyst, hopefully it will be gone soon, but if not I think my RE is going to have me stim anyway….

AFM-update, so this is definantely AF. I have an appointment tomorrow with my RE for b/w and to begin BCP. I'm sure they will check my Hcg levels again to see where we are. If I had any doubts this morning if this was AF or not I am convinced it is. And apparently this month is going to be very rough . Lots of cramping. But I must endure to reach my dream. Not ready to give up just yet. Wishing you all the best an sending you much love.

WeHaveHope- I'm sorry that AF is not being nice to you, but glad that she's here, so you can continue pursuing your dream. What a strong woman you are! Hopefully, your hCG levels tomorrow will be 0 or close to it.

Krissy- Wow...good for you! It's great that you took matters into your own hands! You're not really firing your RE; you're just advocating for yourself & your specific needs. Happy anniversary! So, what's the next step?

Lauren- Are you freaking kidding me???!!! I cannot believe the audacity of your clinic. Who do they think they are? They provide a service that you are paying for (whether it's out of pocket or through insurance)! How dare they!? Just b/c you came in for your BETA a day later b/c you started bleeding...I mean how insensitive is that???!!!! If anything, they should be extra sensitive! Ugh...I'm beyond pissed for you! I don't know what options you have for other clinics, but I would definitely change. Oh yeah, I'm not sure why my RE had me switch to Gonal-f. I was using Follistim for my 1st 4 cycles at UConn. Then, when I switched to Yale, they kept the Follistim b/c I had some that was still left over from my previous cycle & it's what I felt comfortable using since I had been using it for so long. This time I think they put me on Gonal-f b/c that's their choice of meds for whatever reason. It could be a pharmaceutical deal they have set up w/ the company. I don't know...that's my guess. Supposedly it's just like Follistim, but I think it makes me much b!t@chier!

Wishingandhoping- I'm so glad that the bleeding has stopped. Take it easy!

Prayersnpies- I hear you about being cautious & wanting to wait to tell people. After my chemical during our 1st cycle, I will probably want to be cautious & wait also. Good luck tomorrow!!!

Ninde- Lol, the Gonal-f is EVIL But, it's all worth it! So, when do you think you'll be starting with it? I know you have an u/s tomorrow, so keep us updated. Yes, "big, stretchy pants" are definitely your friend during an IVF cycle.

Alwaysangel- I've been praying that tomorrow's appointment brings you a miracle & you hear your baby's h/b.

Lydia- Congrats!!!

MadameX- Ugh, that's frustrating! Why didn't she say "cyst" when she talked to you the 1st time? It's a big difference! Sorry you have to stay on BCPs for another week.

AFM- I go for another SnS tomorrow morning. I probably have 6 more days of stim meds until I trigger. I'm thinking I will be triggering around Wednesday. I had to order another vial of Gonal-f 900 IU b/c I just opened my last one & 1 lasts me 4 days, so I figured I'd need more. Don't really understand why it was under-ordered. Oh well. I'll be getting it on Saturday. DH got out of work early today & we grabbed lunch outside...it's a gorgeous day here in CT today! I'm going over to my SIL's for dinner tonight. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Hey guys - i am cramping pretty bad today. so i moved my 2nd beta up to tomorrow. it will be 2 days later after 1st beta. i just want to see how it rises. the doc said he probably still want me to come back on monday morning for 3rd beta.

anyway - i am worried about the cramping. i thought the reason uterus cramps is because there is blood in there and its trying to expell it out. so does this mean i'll be bleeding soon? urgh....

Teachergirl: I think you are absolutely right to change REs to someone with specialised expertise. Any RE worth their salt will understand that their role is to facilitate the pregnancy, not have their ego stroked. You must do whats right for you.

Moorebaby: I'm not quite sure when I'll start on the trigger Gonal. I've had 8 days of puregon so I suppose another three or four days? Mixing that injection looks quite odd - is it difficult?

Lyd10: how areyou doing - has the cramping reduced?

AFM: Just about to head to bed. Thankfully only 2 clients today which is just as well because my concentration is quite poor, I'm a psychotherapist and you can just imagine how unimpressed clients would be if I zoned out right in the middle of something important! I have the scan tomorrow, so will let you know.

Wow Ninde,
maybe you can help keep me from going into the crazy mental institute, but glad we have you around here!
Today felt light-headed from working with 1 client from 11am to 5:00. I was suppose to get off at 2:30 today but since I was in the middle of a transaction I skipped lunch and stayed. My boss was starting to worry a little about me b/c I got shakey so I went in the back and got me and my client some candy and water. I felt like this was a scene in Pretty Woman where we wowed this customer with every piece of merchandise, the only thing we didn't do was order pizza! Anyway off to my lunch/dinner now, everyone take care more personals tomorrow.
