Lisa

Poor you - know just how you feel only am 3 wks behind you so bet you feel worse. I am so tired and at times they hurt me so much I feel sick - am awake all night trying not to choke to death on acid heartburn despite glugging gaviscon like liz taylor glugs gin!

You will be a good mum etc but I feel the same too - it is all I can do to walk the dog then collapse. Am hiding DH's supply of anti shopping hormone!

HAve all the car seats etc at home but then bought the lot at Kiddicare and took them home around 24 wks! I would go and get yours soon really!

Good luck for later

Hi all,

I cannot believe I only have 8 days left before these little ones are here!!! I have been having great difficulty sleeping as well and very anxious also.. I do have everything I need at home, or at least I think I do. Now just waiting for them to arrive!

Lisa - Good luck with your doctors appt. let us know what you decide..

Phil - thanks for the words of encouragement regarding the c-section.. I keep getting very emotional over it, but finally feel that I am coming to grips with it.

Tracey - can you believe we are almost there!! Yes the time has absolutely flown by!! and yes now I wish I hadn't of been so nervous the entire time and would have enjoyed this pregnancy a little more, but I just would not allow myself to much.. Always thinking sometning was going to go wrong! It's so difficult after what we've all been through to just let go of all the fears.. So thankful today that these little miracles are going to be here soon!!

I will definately keep you all posted - but for sure they will be here by the 30th of june!!!

take care,
Annette

OOOOOOOOOO Annette - it is getting all to exciting for words - that is you and Lisa and then I think - yikes me next and come over all of a panic. Sometimes I just want them out and safe and then think they need to bake a bit more then panic about the birth and something going wrong and think - C section would be better then worry about the dog and then worry about looking after them after and basically chase myself up my own backside -sorry but sure you have a fair idea!

Feel very sick as Mum and Dad took me out for lunch and ate far too much and no space to shove it all. My fault but regretting it now..........
I hope everything goes well I really do and will be looking on anxiously waiting for news.
Big hug

Hi

well in typical hospital style - nothing happened! get told one thing then see someone else who said ' no we don't do a sweep at 36 weeks its to early we do it at 38 weeks' how annoying. I am not really bothered when they do it just like to be prepared so all that getting worked up was for nothing really, felt much calmer last night........even...managed to get some sleep between 12 and 6.00am only went to the loo once

The scan showed twin 1 is head down and getting into the pelvis (knew it was because when I was doing star jumps at aqua natal I felt like he was going to fall out!!) twin 2 has moved and is also making its way down, gone from transverse to oblique so they said its heading in the right direction for natural delivery. Both are on the 5lb mark and could hardly make out anything on the scan as it was just a jumble of arms/legs etc.

So back again in 2 weeks, if nothing happens in between, have a sweep and arrange a date to go in (but I won't hold my breath!)

Annette, can't wait to hear, you will be fine try not to worry (says she!!!)

Tracey, are you having a c-section or have you not decided? how are the babies lying?? how long will your hospital let you go?

Phil, less than a month, whats the update on your house? hope they are working like trojans.

Take care

Lisa

I mean honestly  What are they like :?: I know we don't look forward to a sweep (Who does?) but to psyche yourself up - honestly! How frustrating. The news is good though and things might happen before that but my bet I am afraid is that they won't.

As for me - the hospital have been talking natural delivery as twin one is head down and seems to have stayed that way - the other is breach but they said not to worry  as she might turn after/before/they might turn her or have her breach - like your hospital really. We have the hospital tour tonight for two hours but have left it late - you know the feeling when either side of your pubic bone feels as if it might split - well this has started the last couple of days to really hurt (I remember your post around 33 weeks) and I was so uncomfortable yesterday evening had to keep standing up to breathe
Then tomorrow am is the scan so am hoping they are growing fine and see what they say then but I can feel one is still breach as I have a huge bonce sticking out my side or jammed under my ribs or sometimes wanders to the middle and just sort of sits there like a huge lump of rock!

Thanks for the update - catch you later
Love

Hi all

hope you are all well and managing to get a little sleep!

Annette - just wanted to say that I am thinking about you, I presume with your section booked for Wed that you will go in tomorrow (or do you just go in Wed morning?) wasn't sure as I know all hospitals are different, but take care and can't wait to hear about your new arrivals.

hi nearly there mums !!

annette, wishing you all the best and lots of love for wednesday. can't wait to hear from you.

lisa, you sound ready to go already. not sure whether to say stop or keep doing the star jumps! and by the way... you'll make a great mum.
house is progressing well. i think they will be as glad to get away from me as i will be in saying goodbye to them. they are trying to finish by tomorrow night - because they think the baby is due to arrive any minute!

tracey, the pains are bloomin awful aren't they. i seem to think the rib ones get better when the baby drops, but not sure when there's two little ones in there!

i seen the midwife last week. she tells me there's not much room left and to expect a 7.5lb - 8lb baby. three weeks to go....

love to all,

TMI - Phil that was fine compared to some of the things we get  All perfectly normal - mine were so tingly when feeding Nik's little one (with a bottle I hasten to add!) and they kept bouncing everywhere (the twins not the boobs  ) - how badly have I written this.
I reckon you will make it to the 19th! Let's hope I do too!
