Lyd-good. I am glad your doctor calls back. I have read horror stories about doctors and clinics. My RE always calls me for important labs but routine ones are always left on the phone tree which I like because you can replay important instructions over and over again. And there is alwas the nurse on-call or the doctor on-call. Thank God for them I have had to call them after hours several times. I am praying for good news for you tomorrow. Sending you much love.

Folks - unbelievable! my 3rd beta came back at 143. wow. i dont know what to think now. i went from 66 to 50 to 143. i am supposed to come back in a week for another beta and see where we are. the doc is now more hopeful - maybe it was 2 embies and one didnt make it. But i am still very worried. I am 17 days post transfer of 3 and 4 day embies and my beta is so low! i dont know what to think. but i am happy its on the upward trend. this is a true rollercoaster. thank you everyone for your well wishes and thoughts!

Hi ladies, I hope all of you are doing well. I called my clinic this am but, they can't change the date for my u/s. I was just worried about being late the second day of school. I haven't told anyone at work about any of this... I imagine I'll have more appts to come before I'm ready to spread the news to my boss and co-workers. Any advice? How have you all asked for time off and not explained everything about IVF and such??

Longtime- Glad to hear baby B is hanging in there and doing well... lots of prayers for you and your little bean

Madame- Thanks for sharing that cute poem... Very true! Lots of hard work, pain, and determination-- IT all will pay off in the end! I always say, at least I can tell my child/ren that they were definately wanted and not an "oops" baby!

Sunshine1576- Sounds like your keeping busy-- or trying to keep your mind pre-occupied for a few more days... at least you can sew up your little one some clothes/ blankets?? I can't blame you for not doing a HPT.. my DH didn't want me to do it and like it's been said many times before, those sticks are Evil!

Ninde Get lots of rest and hope you have an quick and painless ER -- (And that is nuts about a semi-conscious ER!?!)

Today on back beach road, a uhaul stopped at a red light and backed into my little car hit it pretty badly ...I sat on my horn but it was too late and he kept on going down the road! All I could do was blow my horn and at 150 feet away he pulled off at the nearest service station! I couldn't get back into oncoming traffic so I saw a side road that led to the Texaco where he was, but moments later I get stuck in the sand! My car tires were spinning but I couldn't move! So I got out the car barefooted in the sand finding briar-like porkie-pine stickers and grab my flip flops just hysterically answering someone asking if I was ok, I said no I am stuck, what is he thinking? I finally look up and there stands an angel, one of my coworkers who saw the whole thing stopped to help me out and she didn't leave until some other guys came over with shovels and shoveled the sand away from my tires. The other guys pulled me out and I stood there looking at my spoiler and the dents in my car, I was devastiated. I found out I have to pay $5 for a police report, all I have is this tiny piece of paper giving me instructions with a case number, how ridiculous is that! Anyway looks like tomorrow will be a fun day dealing with State Farm, but I better get a rental something dependable for my long commute to the clinic come Friday. Anyway sorry for venting, I just hope the stress today didn't effect the embies..

Ok, IVF it starting to consume my life again!!! No need to say more, I am in two weeks crazy town.

Sunshine1576 ~ What a horrible ordeal, on the bright side your co-worker was there to aid you and your beta is only 4 days away YAY!!!!

Prayersnpies ~ I just tell my boss I have a doctors appt or I try to schedule my appts for early morning before work. But because I have had back to back cycles I decided to tell him last week, he was very understanding and told me to take all the time I needed. I was not so much worried about him caring about all the appts as I was worried that he would not give me good projects knowing in the back of his mind I could get pregnant which leads to maternity leave (I took 6 months with my DS).

LYD10 ~ I have been thinking of you all day. What fabulous news!!! If my calculation is correct your last beta was on Friday, so your doubling time between your 2nd and 3rd beta is 48hrs, right on track.

Ninde ~ At my clinic they put me out and before I know it the ER is done. Your ovaries will be sore a few days but not too bad. Good luck tomorrow, sending you good egg vibes!!!
