Hi Ladies,

Ninde- congrats on your ER. Hope you feel better soon.

LYD- congrats to you!! Very excited for you.

Madame- I am on antagonist also, and I stopped BCP on Thursday and still havent seen AF!!! I went for my baseline on Monday and my RE didnt seem concerned and he also said that it's ok to bleed while stimming. I dont know..I still dont think it feels right not getting a period. I have had lots of brown spotting (sorry tmi) for about a week and a half...not sure if thats AF for now?? Good luck to you!

LauraN- keeping you in my thoughts. I have boys almost the same age as yours (16 and 18) and had a tubal as well!

Sunshine- You are so funny...I would totally be doing the same thing! I hope everything works out for you with your Thyroid.
Moorebaby- good luck to you tomorrow. I will be thinking about you and praying for an easy recovery.

I havent been on in a while so it's hard to keep track of everyone, but I do wish you all the best!

AFM: Finished BCP on Thursday and had baseline on MOnday. RE said I still had a good sized follicle on my ovary, but it shouldnt effect me stimming. Still not sure what that means, but I got the call to start Follistim and Menopur last night. Boy was I a wreck...being anal and trying to get everything clean and perfect. The follistim pen was simple, but the syringe and menopur was a project. I got air into the syringe and couldnt get it out so I ended up dumping it and trying again. Wasted 2 bottles of Menopur and one diluant!! GRR The injections werent so bad. Menopur definitely stung a little. I think I can handle it though. Now I just sit and think about what my ovary is doing in there and wonder how long it takes for the follicles to grow. I also have not gotten a period since stopping bcp. RE doesnt seem concerned, but it doesnt feel right to me. I feel like my lining should shed to prepare for the embryo...dont you think?

PrayersnPies, I know what you mean about facebook, all the kids are back in school and everyone has to post their "First Day" we can only take so much. Personally it's almost as bad as putting "an honor roll sign" out in the front yard. I mean really?!?, I don't give a crap. But my biggest pet peeve is those stupid stickers on the backside window of the SUV, is that really necessary? I even boycotted a local radio station because it's catered to Moms...I sometimes feel like I have remind myself there are people out there who just don't have a clue, but that's what makes this forum so great!

Mandarae ~ How long were you on BCP. I was on them only a couple of weeks with this cycle so I barely had a period which makes sense. I too have been worried about shedding my lining, but like your RE mine wasn’t worried. With regards to the menopur are you using Q-caps? If you get an air bubble just pull the syringe out further then you need and flick it the air bubbles should go to the top and you can then push them out.

Ester ~ Tomorrow is the big day. Really hoping this ER is not painful!!!!

LauraN/Sunshine1576 ~ How is 2WW crazy town treating you. I am dying to POAS, my plan is to POAS Friday hope I can hold out until then. I am an addict I stocked of HPT weeks before I started my stims.

Ninde ~ WOW 10 eggs is great, sending you good fertilization vibes!!!!

Madame X ~ Happy to hear your cyst has shrunk; you will be stimming before you know it. And yes AF will come when you stop the BCPs.

LYD - Woohoo!!! It's an effin' miracle! Amazing!

Christy - Sorry abut the car ordeal. Sounds like a serious pain, but just think about how happy you'll be in a couple of days!! I actually take levothyroxine because my thyroid is slightly off, but I don't know about naturally. I've heard kelp pills could help, but it's all iffy.

Madame X - great news!! You will get your period, but probably not as long because you'll start your hormones soon after.

Ninde - I'm so glad you're feeling better. What an ordeal! Congrats on 10 eggs though! That's awesome!

Ester - Good luck tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you...seriously. Wish you had more Atavan right about now, huh? Don't be nervous! Be excited! I'm excited for you. PLEASE keep me posted when you get home.

LauraN - The 2ww can seriously drive you crazy. The best is to just keep busy. Are you planning on POAS?

Mandarae - I'm so sorry you're having so many issues with the shots! You'll get the hang of it.

AFM - Surgery went well. Super crampy, bloated, and tired all day yesterday, but much better today. RE said he got the polyp out and then did a D+C on the rest. Kinda gross, but told me my uterus was now, "better than new." Ew. Starting Lupron tomorrow. AF early next week. This means stimming next week too?! Holy shit this is going quickly. I bet I won't be saying that in my 2ww.

Morning everyone (or middle of the night for most of you :D )

LauraN: Hello there, lovely to have you join.

Madame x: How are you doing?

Sunshine1576: Any more news on your thyroid?

Mandarae: I don't know too much about the drugs you are on (I'm on totally different ones) but isn't the womb lining supposed to be getting nice and thick rather than shedding? How are you today after your first dose of drugs?

PrayersnPies: I know exactly what you mean. I'm not the biggest fan of facebook anyway but honestly - who (apart from close family) care about all those bloody baby photos?! My sister adopted after 6 years and is fantastic - she doesn't push her ds on any of us and does not phone us every day to tell us what he has decided to eat, etc. She is far more down to earth. I realise people are obviously proud of their kids but some times its really just too much - not to mention boring! Having said all that I shall be delighted to hear about all of the ladies' on this forum's kids!! :)

Nicksgam: Thanks a million!

Lyd10: HOw is the stomach today?

Lauren319: Wow! Fantastic everything is moving so quickly! How are you today - sore?

Afm: Its 09.45 here and the embryologist phoned about half an hour ago - I thought she was ringing at midday so I thought something was wrong. HOwever, its not. Of the 10 eggs, 8 were suitable and 6 fertilised (yay!). They are obviously still at the single cell stage (I say "obviously" but that didn't stop me asking the grade which its much too early for!). So we are scheduled to go in tomorrow for transfer and will know more then. Tummy not quite as sore this morning but oh it was rough last night. Talk to everyone soon :)

Ester (MooreBaby),
Thinking of you this morning, and we are sending you lots of babydust today as they retrieve lots of eggs! :D

Ninde,
That's fantastic that 6 fertilized and tomorrow is transfer day, wow this is happening all so fast and soon you will be PUPO! :D

Lauren319,
I'm glad the surgery went well, lol uterius better then new, he could of said textbook perfect! Your doctor sounds like he has some humor. Wishing you a quick recovery!

AFM: Let's see what am I down to...2 days,6 hours and 26 minutes. No other news on my thyroid condition yet, won't know until they draw the extra vial on Friday. Nurse said they will disregard the vial if I am pg, said thyroids tend to fluctuate when you are expecting. I ws like, don't you want to monitor it anyway, so I am in the dark right now.

Sunshine...when you get your bfp make sure someone monitors your thyroid. I had to have my med dosage changed 4 times because it does fluctuate, but def needs monitoring :-)

Quick post...ER was today & it was a LOT better than my last one. The Atavan helped & they gave me a stronger dose of the IV sedation & IV pain medicine...woohoo!!! They also gave me a script for Oxycodone, so I'm feeling good  Anyways, they got 19 eggs. Tomorrow, they'll call me to tell me how many were mature & give me the initial fert report. A big thank you to everyone for your support...love you ladies!
