I only have a few minutes, so this is going to be quick.

Embryology lab called this morning. Originally, there were 10 that fertilized. Well, another one picked up & fertilized, so now we have 11. They are graded as 1s & 2s, w/ 1 being the best when it comes to cell division & fragmentation (or lack of fragmentation I guess). Nurse called not too long ago to say that ET will be on Monday. Things are going great!

Christy- I've got everything crossed for you!

I will try to do personals later. My triplet nephews & their cousin are sleeping over tonight....

Beta result was 24.6 today. Not quite the BIG FAT ZERO I was praying for at this point but I guess I am ok with that. I already started with the BCP a week ago in preperation for my next FET cycle. So unless the Beta decides to realy slow down we should still be on track for our FET. I still have two more weeks of BCP before I start on the Lupron. So I have two more weeks for the Beta to get to zero before things start to get delayed. I have another appointment for yet another Beta next Friday. I am confidant that we will get the Zero Beta then. I still feel so strange praying for the Bets to go down when only a few weeks ago we were praying for a doubling Beta. I know I have to make the best of the situation I have been handed. So for today, I am happy with a Beta of 24.6 and looking forward to my FET sometime in late September/early October. Sending you all much love for the weekend.

Moorebaby- Wow! Congrats on a great fert report!! I have my fingers crossed for you!

Anton- I love your attitude. Keep it up. You will get your BFP- I know it.

Nicksgam- praying for you that your little bean sticks. I was on BCP for three weeks and I started on an off day rather than the typical sunday after your period, etc. I do use the q-caps, but I never seem to get a straight 1ml of diluant. It's the strangest thing.

LYD- Good luck with your upcoming Beta :)

Lauren319- Thanks girl. Glad to hear that your surgery went well and you are well on your way to a BFP.

Ninde- Congrats on the 2 embies. I have my fingers crossed that they stick! You are right about the womb thickening. I saw my RE today and he said not to worry. My uterus was thin at my baseline and now it's getting nice and thick! I just felt it should at least shed to create a new fresh lining, but I guess I don't know as much about the process as I thought I did.

Wehavehope- You will be on your way in no time at all. I know this whole process is one big waiting game, which is hard for anyone. I'm curious why it takes so long for beta to go down?

Wishing- I am really excited for you on hearing your two beautiful heartbeats. Congratulations!!

AFM: Stimming is going as good as can be expected. I went to a concert on Wed. and brought my meds so I can inject at my 10pm time. We ended up putting the cooler in a friends car and they LEFT!!! I was freaking out. It took us forever to get out of there due to the mass of people leaving at the same time. I was soo late with that injection and absolutely devastated about it. I went to see my RE this morning for my first visit on stims. He said that everything is looking good (was so nervous about that), but its too early to get a solid idea of how Im responding. I did see a measurement of 10mm on one of the follicles and Im thinking thats a little big for this early in the game? I asked him about my AF and he said not to worry, my lining is getting nice and thick. I increase my meds on Sunday to 3 menopur and a ganirelix and go back on Monday to see what's doing in there. Thinking about you all. Have a great weekend! :P

Mandarae-thanks for your kind words. I am realy looking forward to the next FET but this Beta rollercoaster is quite difficult indeed. I realy don't know why it takes so long for the Hcg levels to drop after a MC. My RE and I discussed it and the only thing he said was that although the heavy bleeding duri g the AF after a MC was difficult to deal with that this was actualy positive because the body gets Reid of all ofthe potential fetal material that may have been left behind. Maybe this is why. It's hard to even talk a out it but sharing thi information maybe helpful to someone else going through the same situation. In any case, I did in fact have extremely heavy bleeding. In fact I still have some very dark brown spotting. I have heard of others having to wait months for their Beta's to drop so I consider myself blessed in a way because it's only been a few weeks since my MC and my Beta has droped from over 1,500 to in the 20's today. I am very hopeful that it will be Zero next Friday.

It sounds like you are well in your way. You will do great. I wish you all the best and I will praying for you.

Anton,
Awww thank you for stopping by to check on your cyperbuddies! I'm glad you are enjoying all the vistors, I would be a nervous wreck if anyone dropped in to stay a weekend, I am one who likes to be prepared-- not to mention cleans at the spur of the moment! But maybe my closest friends who already know me wouldn't mind so much as my in-laws...lol I could so see you walking down the aisle with your babies(s) in your arms saying "I do". It would be cute to have your son as the ring barrier and daughter as the flowerbaby. With the wedding, I say set the date with a reasonable budget and plan away only because a wedding would free your mind and give you something funspirited to plan. I love weddings and had mine planned the night we got engaged, seriously I did with a spiral notebook and was on the phone until midnight. Setting the date was the most challenging with my dad's job relocation, so we moved the date up 6 months earlier...My dad kept telling me I could save so much money with the courthouse officiating everything, but I was his only little girl and I knew I had to have him walk me down the aisle, so he did and now he is no longer with me, due to a massive heartattack 8 months later so I wouldn't trade those precious moments for anything! Time is too short on this earth and we aren't promised tomorrow so we have to make our precious time with our loved ones count! I say go celebrate your love for one another and let us help you coordinate everything, you both so deserve to share this special day with all your loved ones (including us)!

AFM: I'm in limbo about our next steps. Got the dreaded phone call this afternoon finally after I killed an hour getting a pedicure...so then I was at Target when she called me and I braced myself just knowing...I brokedown when I told girls at work, only because they had been so wonderful to me and all I wanted was to share the good news with all of them but couldn't... My comfort foods were chip ahoy cookies, cupcakes (I made with Belles), movie butter popcorn with my favorite peanut m&ms.. Eatting and shopping are on the top of my list right now. All I can do right now is blame my hpyer active thyroid, people think I don't eat but then they see me at a restaurant and they go Whoa you packed away that much food but this is something I've always struggled with all my life. Anyway thyroid lab results will be coming back next week to see what is going on!

Sunshine - im so sorry for the BFN , dont know what to say.... (((HUGS))) maybe u can take the time u need with ur DH and when u feel ready enough u can join us on the fall board, i know u r a fighter.

may i ask what is the connection between thyroid and eating a lot ??? didnt understand what u meant when u said it, coz im also underweight, i eat a lot and my TSH is 1.96 (dont know if it is good but no one ever mentioned anything about it) so why are u blaming urself on the thyroid issue???

Morning everyone. Apologies, I did personals last night but when I logged in this morning they wernt there so I must have been posting at the same time as others (and didnt preview! )

Anton: so lovely to hear from you! And thank you for showing a different part if your life. I can imagine you both walking down the aisle with your babies :) and its brilliant your friends surprised you.

Sunshine1576: I obviously didnt know your news last night. I'm so sorry, I dont know much about the thyroid but I do know its important its regulated for pregnancy so I hope its sorted soon for you. I really am sorry.

Moorebaby: wow!!! Amazing results. You must be thrilled?

Lyd10: how are you doing?

Lauren319: you are hilarious! I remember when my sister was pregnant before miscarrying that her husband asked was she craving anything and she said "yes, diamonds "!! So go for it!

Nicksgam; yay! Fantastic. How are you feeling?

I thought I would split NY post and personals just in case!!

Wehavehope: that's a real shame your beta isnt right down yet. Your positivity is inspirational.

Mandarae; oh you poor thing, the panic must have been awful!

Prayers : isnt that fantastic that you are at the stage of thinking of telling people :)

Wishing: oh my goodness, to see those little heartbeats must have been wonderful. Congratulations :)

Afm : doing ok :) had a great day with my best friend yesterday. We went for a walk onthe beach and he spent the day making me laugh, just what I needed. I'm certainly surprised by how tired I feel and its going to be odd being back in work next week. Hopefully I won't fall asleep! By the way does anyone know if in extreme circumstances its ok to take paracetemol?

Thanks Fruit for asking, :D your thyroid sounds normal, mine was 3.5 and they like to see it around the range of 1.5-2.5. Ninde is right on with what she wrote....Thyroid controls the hormones for pregnancy to happen.

Christy- I'm so sorry! (((HUGS))) Once they get your thyroid levels in the normal range, I'm sure your BFP will be on its way! Don't blame your thyroid issue on yourself...you didn't do anything wrong!

Margi- Thanks for crashing! Yep, the triplets will be 8 in about 2 months & their cousin will be 10 in about 2 months....it was a fun slumber party! Well, I figured I'll have to take it easy after the ET, so this was the best time for them to stay over. We're planning on transferring 2...I can't wait to be PUPO! Yep, just a little over 10 weeks for you & you'll be bringing your beautiful babies home!

Ninde- Yes, I'm very thrilled about the fert results! Congrats on being PUPO!!! How nice & relaxing...a walk on the beach! Sorry your other 4 didn't make it to freeze, but you'll be getting a BFP! By the way, deodorant should be fine. I would just avoid things like hair color or nail polish. For example, I need a color bad, but I will just have to wait. Assuming I get a BFP, I will have to wait for a LONG time, but I'm totally fine w/ that. As far as nail polish, I get my toes done professionally, so I think just being around in a room filled w/ those fumes is not good. I think if you do your own nails quickly, it should be ok. But, I'm getting mine done today since ET is Monday & also school starts in a little over a week, so I have to look decent, lol! The hair is just going to get a good trim & re-style for now. The way I look at it is when I have pregnancy glow, I won't care about the cracked & peeling nail polish & the gray hairs & split ends, lol!

fruit- In addition to playing a role in fertility & pregnancy, the thyroid regulates metabolism. So, if you have an underactive thyroid, you will have a harder time keeping weight off (your thyroid is slow when it comes to "burning your food into energy"). If you have an overactive thyroid, you will have a harder time gaining weight (your thyroid is fast when it comes to "buring your food into energy"). Yours sounds like it's in the normal range. How is everything going for you?

Prayersnpies- They should be able to see how many are in there. You transferred more than 1, right? I will be looking for your post on Tuesday.

mandarae- Glad that stimming is going good, minus your friends leaving w/ your cooler of drugs, lol! Did they forget that it was in there? Ugh...I would've been frustrated. If you're adding Ganirelix, that must mean you're getting close to ER!

WeHaveHope- Ugh...how annoying! I hope the next time you go back, it's a big, fat 0!

anton- We'll be doing a 5dt w/ 2 blasts. I say just start planning your wedding! Everything else WILL fall into place....you'll be a mommie! I'm glad you & DH are spending time together & w/ family & friends!

nicksgam- Woohoo for your BFP! Sometimes those sticks can be ok, lol! Are you going to POAS today?

Lauren319- Thanks, girl! No, POASing for me...as tempting as it is, I'm too chicken, lol! DH is against it, too. Yes, we all absolutely deserve flowers, jewelry, & chocolate! Woohoo for starting the b!t@h juice! When do you go back? Yay for a super-new uterus!!!

Wishingandhoping- Congrats on 2!!! Double the excitement! Sorry about the nausea, but it'll be worth it once you hold your babies in your arms!

Lydia- How are you feeling? I'm still so happy that you're out of BETA hell. Can't wait for Monday's BETA!

22yearslater- How are you doing?

LauraN- Welcome! Fingers crossed that this is your cycle! Less than a week left until your BETA! How are you feeling?

Katie/Lou/Ryann- Thanks girls!!! I'm so hoping I will be in your shoes as a result of this cycle!

Lauren- Hey you! I hear you about football season...DH is OBSESSED! He is on 2 fantasy football leagues & it's ALL he talks about it! Thinking of you!

AFM- ET is set for Monday. I just don't know what time. A nurse should be calling today or tomorrow w/ the instructions. I'm excited to be PUPO! The plan is to transfer 2. My nephews & their cousin left about an hour ago. It was a fun slumber party! Today, I'm scrubbing my house big time since I'll have to take it easy once I'm PUPO & preggo (how about that for PMA?). Later, I'm going to get a pedicure & then over to my parents' w/ DH for some dessert & coffee. I have this burst of positive energy & I feel so happy...just b/c!

fruit- In addition to playing a role in fertility & pregnancy, the thyroid regulates metabolism. !
