I will be starting my fertility treatment August 24, 2011. We are doing ICSI due to a male issue, but we have discussed donating our extra little ones (eggs) to a couple that will need them love them and care for them. We know how it feels to not be able to conceive a child naturally, and we hope to make our dreams and someone else's dreams come true. I am 5'7, athletic build, on average about 145-150 depending on the week, red hair, hazel eyes, and you guessed it freckles but not to many . I have my EMT and I have been in the US NAVY for 6 years. I compete in Pageants and currently hold the title Ms. Louisiana Magnolia. I have one child so far he is a beautiful blonde haired blue eyed boy. If you would be interested in our little ones please feel free to ask anything you need. Our expected egg retrieval date is September 15, 2011. We are having it done in Houston, TX.

You must be such a warm caring woman to be concerned for others when you havent even gone through your own IVF cycle yet. This can be such an emotionally draining process and these forums can keep you from feeling so isolated while you're going through this. I just wanted to commend you for your generosity. I know for sure before we start on wed. we are looking about 9-10 eggs with out the fertility meds. I am hoping but more than positive I will have more than enough to donate. I have already passed all the screening for IVF and prenatal screenings and infectious disease. Please let me know what other tests I would need for the process, and I can check if I have had those done.

First, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!! I am very interested in your extra little ones. My husband and I had decided to donate our extra little ones, but unfortunately we didn't have any. I had a failed IVF cycle (diminished ovarian reserve). Also I have had three ectopic pregnancies. I had a donor i met online lined up but she dissappeared on me so I'm somewhat scared to ask if you are for real. Our dream has been to have a little Irish baby since our last name is Murphy and we love all things Irish. I'm assuming you are Irish wwith the red hair and freckles. Katie, I pray everything went well for you today and you had a successful retrieval. I know how hard it is, I had a failed IVF cycle last year. The retrieval was the worst part. I hope you got lots of eggs and embies and they grow and grow and you get your dream of becoming a mom. God Bless.

The retrieval was excellent we had 14 eggs and 10 turned into embabies lol. I will have my et of 2 eggs on Monday.

Hi there,

I am a proud Canadian through and through (LOL!) and I was just inquiring about the embryo donation. My husband and I have been dealing with infertility for 4 years now. First we tried on our own for a year then, we sought out the help of a fertility doctor who got us pregnant through IUI the first try with our angel Isabella. Sadly, I lost our angel at 33 weeks pregnant in Aug'09 due to placental issues and we've been trying ever since. Initially, we started out as having a male problem (low sperm count, motility, etc...). Now, we have a whole new problem I'm 31 years old and having difficulties with my fsh. I might be jumping the gun here, and I may be able to get my levels down a bit in order for our doctor to do IVF however, I want to cover all my bases first before we start.

Any info would be most helpful.

My husband and I are excited about exploring the possibilities of starting a family through embryo donation. I didn't know if you were looking to donate eggs or embryos? I'm so excited to possibly become a mommy. I would love to speak with you if you were still looking to donate your embryos.

Wow.... It's amazing the love people have! My husband and I have been on the journey for children for five years and can't wait to take all of the fun pregnancy pics and even the baby crying through the night. We're excited about this being through embryo donation. If you are still looking for a family to whom to donate, we would love to speak with you. Thank you so much either way!!
