Lou - You look fabulous! I think you look absolutely perfect! :D As for the belly button pain, I went weeks with it. I had mine pierced (removed during cycle) and blamed it on that. It got so bad that I would cry out in pain if it got bumped. Even my shirt rubbing against was incredibly painful! I wish I had some miracle cure, but I just waited it out and it eventually didn't hurt so much anymore. Hang in there, the last leg of the marathon's always the toughest!

Ryann - So sad about Dylan's booty! I bet the poor fella's just miserable. :( Lou's mix sounds promising. It seems odd that your doc isn't concerned...

afm - Started back at work today. It was my very first day away from the boys since they were born!!! It was tough but DH sent lots of pics and updates throughout the day. The three of them did so great, bless their hearts! Tomorrow is Round 2... DING DING!

Ryann.....try Aquaphor.....McCoy was a little red....I tried desitin and A&D ointment and it didn't help.....used Aquaphor and it cleared it right up. Don't smother his booty too thick....just a good coat.

I hope it gets better soon!

Anna.....Paul is gorgeous! LOVE the hair! :D

karin- You need to post some pics of those boys. Hope you are all doing well.

Ryann- So sorry to hear about little mans sore bottom. Hopefully something that someone suggested will help. Weird question but are both babies in the same type of diaper? My sister in law swears that Pampers gave her son yeast infections when he was little. Ive always heard Pampers worked better for girls than boys.

Stephanie- Glad you made it through your first day back at work. Im sure it was hard leaving those 2 handsome guys at home (and DH of course). Glad they all did so well though.

Lou- You look great!! You better watch what you say since I am already that huge and 9 1/2 wks behind lol. You have such a cute little belly and definitely wear pregnancy well. Woo hoo for 32 wks.

Mamaboo- So glad things went well at the OB appt!!! Good to hear that things are measuring appropriately and the heartrate was good. Hopefully you are able to switch back to the regular OB after next appt.

Ashley- The rash is getting better and better! 1.5 lb per wk sounds like its right on track. Thats what DH insists that I need to do from here on out to get me to 35-40 lbs by the end. I know in the next 3+ wks the babies should both double their weights...so thats 2 whole extra lbs. Glad you found the right cord blood location. Good luck at the 3D today- post pics ASAP!!

AFM- Like I mentioned to Ashley- the rash is continuing to get better woo hoo. It was so miserable having an ugly itchy rash covering the front of me. I have been wearing dresses every day for the past week though which Im sure helps too. Question for everyone out there- If you started out the pregnancy in smaller sized maternity clothes did you stay with that same size or end up going up in sizes closer to the end? The reason im asking is because right now almost of all my stuff is XS, but tons of people have been giving me stuff to borrow so now I have every size available (through XL) and Im just wondering if I will really end up in an XL?

Blair-i started in size small and ended in size small.

Thank you for all the diaper suggestions. To answer some
of your questins...we haven't used wipes since we left the NICU, and we switched from Pampers to Huggies. That cleared Isabella's rash right up. Dylan's was finally clearing up and I stupidly used pampers sensitive wipes while we were out. It was easier than the cotton balls, and now the rash is back. I called the doc and asked for a prescriptin for an anti-fungal, like Lou said. The didn't give me a script, but told me to buy Lotrimin. For athlete's foot?? Well I strted that yesterday, along wth baking soda baths, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Little man is naked on the bed rght now getting some air. This breaks my heart :-(

Lotrimin is an anti-fungal cream. That's what our doctor told us to use also when the white spots appeared. We also switched to Huggies and found it did a better job of keeping our son's "number 2" residue away from his skin. I think that has helped to stop the frequent diaper rash outbreaks.

For all who have already given birth, have you experienced moderate/severe knee pain? I have and it's difficult for me to go up and down the stairs or get up from sitting on the floor.

As for maternity clothes sizes, I also started and ended with size small.

I haven't got knee pain but I've got back pain. I realized that I'm not lifting properly when picking Brooke up. Could you be putting strain on your knees from all the bending, lifting and stooping that comes from caring for kids?

Reenie...not specifically knee pain, but I was just telling DH yesterday that all my joints are killing me...knees, ankles, wrists, all my fingers and toes. I feel like an old lady. I was thinking of starting some glucosimine (spelling??). DH takes that because he is at the gym all the time and it seems to help him.

Yay, I got to see my baby girl in 3D! She's measuring 3lb12oz. MFM thinks I'd most likely deliver a 6-7 pounder, which I'm happy with.. as long as she's not as big as I was when I was born (8lbs+)! Here a couple pics from the scan.. :D

Ashley- Look at that sweet little face!!! She has such a pretty little nose too! It looks like she was keeping her hands up by her face just in case she got sick of the camera and needed to block the view. Glad that you get to see little Athena and it sounds like shes doing great! 6-7lbs would be a good size...especially if you and DH were both bigger babies.

Reenie.....i have pain in one knee and it has gotten worse since the boys were born. I'm thinking about getting it checked. As for a pic of the boys....I would if I knew how....i am technically challenged. I just don't have the time to figure it out. I will try to get DH to help, but he's really busy with his work right now.

As for maternity clothes....i started in small and ended in small....but they were getting tight at the end.

I was curious to see if anyone else had the knee pain problem. I thought maybe it might be that I had been working out too vigorously too soon. But now that I know that others have had the same problem, I wonder if it's pregnancy related or the way that I am picking up my son and daughter.

SD- Glad you are back. I am glad Alisa was able to help you. Yay for making it to the 30 week mark. Each week or two always seems like such an accomplishment to me, esp now that I am in the 30's too.

Bliss - Thanks for bailing SD out!!! I did not know what to do. So sorry about the skunk that would be awful. But like you said atleast it is not making you sick!

Annas - Paul is just so precious - love the hair. That is an adorable picture. Sorry that you are having pain/difficulty with BFing. Sounds like that is fairly normal. I want to try but know I am in for a challenge. Great job on lossing the preg weight and getting the weight on little Paul. Sounds like you are in heaven (minus BFing). You scare me when you say I am next. Not quite ready but I know I am getting close. Looks like karenvanc and karen1 should still be in front of me. My Dr said he will be very happy to get me past 9-16. My DH did a good job taking over cooking and entertaining his parents as I did not recover from my 10 hour work day and lack of sleep until Sunday. He is very good to me.

Blair - So glad to hear that the rash is healing - I know I would be miserable. I am getting little red blotches on my belly but they do not itch thank goodness. Dr said that was normal and I would likely get more. I did switch sizes in cloths as I got larger. I started with small and they worked well but are now just getting too tight but mostly bought medium because I didn't feel comfortable at my job with clothes that were too tight around my belly - so they were loose on top but still gave me room around the belly. I did buy a couple of large but they are way to big on top so I kind of regret that but I think as I get further in this pregnancy they will come in handy. I also started buying more dresses. Now that I am home I think I will live in those - much better on my bladder. Your weight sounds like it is right on track. I am gaining about 2-3 pounds every 2 weeks right now. I think I gained more than you at 22 weeks but I also did not lose any due to MS like you did. I am up 31 pounds at 32 weeks.

Rio - Wow Lizzy is 1 month already. Time sure does fly. Love that she is smiling at you. My DH did a great job at making all the meals and entertaining his parents. After my day friday and lack of sleep that night - I didn't feel up to anything but the recliner until Sunday. I just said I am sorry but did not feel bad about it. I just don't understand their need to come so much - they are already talking about coming in another 2-3 weeks. Like I said they came maybe once a year prior to this. I am sure they will be around way too much when the babies are here too. I hope your incision is better - you didn't say anything about it.

Ashley - you are looking so good. Happy belated birthday. Congrats on finding the right birthing center and good luck with the water birth. My last official day of work was last Friday. This week I worked about 4 hours yesterday and will do about 3 hours on Thursday - just going in as/if needed. I have been doing great and think I could work longer but am glad to be done - it was getting hard to keep myself from doing too much - I am way to independent and I would forget to ask for help. Love your 3d pictures. what a joy to see her!! She likes her hands in her face too!

Ryann - sorry about the diaper rash. I have no knowledge but will listen to all the advice you are getting in case I struggle with it as well. Hope al is well otherwise.

Mellow - Marlo is getting so big - she is so cute. Sounds like she just needs to learn to eat without sleeping on you. She is already showing her stubbornness - although that has helped her this far. Great news on her passing the brain test and not CP!!! That is wonderful news. Still waiting to hear that she is going home - hopefully that will be soon.

Lou - Sorry about the sciatic pain - are you stretching? (the PT in me loves stretching) Let me know if you want some ideas. Hope you are feeling better and not suffering as much. You still look great - I know you always feel bigger than you really are. Not sure about your belly button but I have a funny story - mine was sticking out but I am getting so big that it is starting to stretch so much that my belly button is almost flat again - that is big!!

Mamaboo - Glad to hear all is going well. That is great news.

Stephanie - You started work and I just finished. It must have been hard leaving them but sounds like they were in good hands with DH - hope today went well as well.

Reenie - I haven't had my babies yet but It sure could be the extra weight you are lifting and likely your joints are still a little loose from the pregnancy and birth - Don't know how long that takes to get back to normal but laxity can cause pain.

AFM - I saw my OB today and had an US. The babies are doing great. They are measuring and weighing about the same (within a day of each other.) They are 1-2 days behind in size and 3-4 behind in weight but both are doing great. US tech said she was very impressed as they are twins. I then saw the OB and he said the same thing. He also said that I am doing very well and that normally he would already be seeing me 1xweek or start it this week but he would let me go 2 weeks again as coming in next week would likely just "annoy" me more than anything. Likely he is right. He said to call if anything changes and he will get me in. I was very happy with the appt - up until the point were he said that he thought I might even carry them till 39 weeks. I told him my mind would not accept that - I am prepared for 38 but think I will breakdown after that. So I hope I continue to do well. Oh - my belly is measuring at 40 weeks. I am going to get so huge. I will post a pic soon.

Just real quick post...

Blair - I started in a medium and was in a large by 36 weeks cuz my tops just couldn't cover my massive belly! LOL But I stayed in a small/medium pant the whole time.

Ryann - I had to use Lotrimin on my nips to treat a yeast infection. LOL It works! Oh, and Walgreens has their brand of glucosawhatever for joints on sale buy one get one free. Just bought some for DH after work today.

Ashley - Baby girl is so cute! I love the button nose and chubby little cheeks! Too sweet!!!

kmj - Good to hear you're off of work finally. I don't know about other twin mommas, but my "breakdown" began around 35 weeks. The last 3 weeks were just miserable... Are you discussing induction or c-section around 38 weeks or waiting longer?

afm - Yesterday a girlfriend of mine posted on FB about her 4 month old daughter's check up. She's a "hefty" 12 lbs 3 oz already! ...... Brady and Jaxon are already 12 lbs (at least) at 2 months! They've never met a boob or bottle they didn't like!  2 month visit on Thursday to get an exact weight, but I can't believe how fast they're growing. It's bittersweet.

Ryann - Em had terrible diaper rash (looked like her bum was burned, blistery & raspberry red!) when she was a pup....so here is what we did........we switched diapers we were using costco brand and switched to pampers extra care. Also we figured out that the diaper rash cream was actually locking in the moisture so it wasn't helping to dry it up so we use a lot of powder and frequent diaper changes then baths with baking soda and air time throughout the day. Also I liked boogie wipes they are for the nose but they only contain saline so they are super super sensitive for sore bums they are expensive so we only used them for times of bad rash. The dryer is a great idea too! I hope Dylans little bum is getting better poor little guy.......
