i noticed a few of you are unsure about the variable teats..well i use them they are great you have 1.2.3 on the teat 1 if for new born 2 is for a little older and 3 is fast flow i tend to use 2 for jacks night feed so he dont gulp hes milk down to quick and get trapped wind (hes 9mths) and 3 for the day time.....i think they are great as you have slow medium and fast all in 1..have the number facing there nose or upwards. hope i wrote this in a way for you gals to understand as im usless at explaining things.
jack is almost standing now which is made as hes soo small in height.
its good to see some oldies on here ... i can remember watching some of you when i was just about to start ivf.
bet your all being busy being a mum and doing mumsey things..he he.
jack is in bed after a long lunch in the garden for a friends b-day..all in all jack has 18 to go to this summer.
we are watching the footie with some friends tonight so hopefully we will celerbrate with a few beers.
so girls are any of you ready for number 2 or 3 yet?? im going for my fet soon, need a small op in july first to laser a cyst off and give me a good clear out (nice). jack will be 1 in 3 weeks cant believe where the time has gone.
so girls enough of us how are you lot??? post soon be good to catch up.
one in 3 weeks eh.........where does the time go? Dan's 8 months old now, and it's flown. Last week he started to crawl and can now pull himself up on the furniture, it's lovely because he just looks so proud of himself. It's amazing how quickly they develop.
His sleep pattern seems to have altered lately, and for the last week and a half he's been sharing our bed. It's not really a habit that I want to get into, but when you want to sleep and they just won't settle in their cots, it's so tempting to let them get in with you! To be honest we've had it easy up until now, as he's been sleeping though since he was about eight weeks so he spoilt us really. What I need is a cot that the side comes off completely, as it seems to be the action of lowering him into it that sets him off, as he lets me put him on the bed and leave him there!
.....contrary little fella!
Well he's screaming, so I should go.........depressed hubby just told me we lost the footie, we were one nil up when I came up here!

ttc 9 years. 38 yrs old, dh 8 hrs younger!First IVF in Aug 2002 and had ectopic.2nd IVF neg.3rd FET and negative.4th FET and positive but sadly lost our little boy at 20 weeks.5th FET and Alice Isobel and Emily Charlotte born 5th Aug 2004!
Well, Daniel is 5 months old now and doing very well. He is taking up all my time - who said that having a baby was easy?, but he's a joy to have around.
Dad's just giving him a bottle and then it's to bed. He's very good and sleeps through all night now.
Well Alex keeps me busy but I have 5 minutes to myself, well my iron is switched on but I would rather be online and say hello to everyone. Well Alex is now rolling over and he is trying to crawl I just can't believe where the time is going he is 5 months now and how scary is that.
I'm finding Alex is off his milk though which is a little stressful but I do try him but he just won't have it. I spoke to my H/V and she said he needs to have between 20/24oz a day but if I can't get him to have it what am I supposed to do? If I mix it with his foods he won't touch his foods either.
jack had hes 1st b-day on wed ...it was a brill day i loved every minute of it.
so are any of the mummies trying for another?
im going into hospital on wed for a clear out so i can try for another in aug/sept.
this will be our last go (so dh says) as we havent the funds ect.
right i better go as dh need to do some work on the pc.
just to let you all know i had my tube removed 3wks ago...so now waiting to see the consultant at the end of the month then all actions go hopefully...wow fet here we come.
Hello - I'm here too - albeit not often these days!
Sam's a wee smasher and doing well - looking at him now - you'd never know he was 7 weeks early - catching up fast! I can't believe he's 6 months old...
As for trying again - yes please, but going to try the good old fashioned way for a while - don't know if I could do IVF again...
so are you trying now wow !! doesnt time fly one minute they are a helpless little bundle in your arms and now they are inderpendant little people.. jack is 13mths now and the dreaded mmr is coming up i just dont know what to do..........half of me says go for it as nothing has been proven then the other side says we worked so hard for him and i dont want nothing to go wrong...so i found out he can have them in 3 seprate goes hummmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!
I'm the same, I'm dreading Dan coming to the age of needing the mmr. Sometimes I think I'll let him have it, because everyone I know who has small children has gone ahead and the kids are fine. But then I think what if Dan is affected by it, I'd never forgive myself.
So I think I'll be paying for the 3 separate jabs! Wish the nhs would offer the 3 as an alternative. I'm still absolutely convinced the that Tony Blairs son didn't have the mmr, because if he had then what did they have to hide, especially if it would have given other parents confidence in the jab.
It's a real worry.
Anyway hope you're ok, take care.
