Lyd- Another night is almost over. Keep the faith and remember most pregnant women don't feel anything this early and don't even know they are pregnant yet. Our process is a blessing and a curse as we get to know so early that the worrying begins earlier for us. I was sure that I had a BFN from this procedure and to my surprise there were three in there. Keep the positive thinking going as I know we all are for you.

As for me I am just uncomfortable this early on and cannot even imagine this discomft getting worse---UGH! I just have to keep the end game in sight.

Hope you are all doing really well.

Hello everyone!

Dogzrule- Congrats on one healthy bean! That is great news!

Lyd- I definitely would not worry about the lack of symptoms. I have a feeling that you are going to have a GREAT appointment tomorrow! I will be praying for you!

Bliss- Interesting about the peanut butter and carbs. I've just started craving chocolate after seeing Hershey's kiss commercials. I guess the advertising works for pregnant women! :)

Ttcnb- I'm sorry that you're uncomfortable! I agree with just keeping the end game in sight!

Nancy- I have always hated seafood, so now I really have to avoid the fish department at the grocery store!

AFM- Yesterday was good and bad. As I was waiting for my ultrasound, I had to pee (not shocking). As I got up to go to the bathroom, I felt like I wet myself. When I got to the bathroom, there was bright red blood. Fortunately I was already there for an ultrasound! My ultrasound showed 2 perfect babies measuring at 7w3d, one had a heart rate of 147, one was 156. They didn't see a hematoma or any other cause of the bleeding. The best guess at this point is cervical bleeding. Of course, that meant back to bed...canceling more patients. The bleeding has eased off and is now more brown than red. Next ultrasound is Monday. Now praying for my beans!

Bliss - As far as weight goes, Im really not sure. At my 18wk appt I asked not to know my weight. I only asked if I am gaining too much or on track and the dr said that i am right on track. I will be 5 months this weekend and everyone says that I look small for 5 months with twins. At 14wks I had gained 12pds. Which was ok with me bc I was thinking that is less than a pound a wk. I would be ok with a pound a week only! i know it will sneak up on me sooner or later. I have a small frame, Im 5'6 and 125pds is the most i have ever weighed prior to pregnancy.

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around - well, I've been around, but not posting. Haven't really had anything to report, other than the pregnancy is progressing. Well, we just had our anatomy ultrasound last week and everything is looking good baby-wise. We found out we're Team Blue and are very excited about that. However, we also found out that I have a low-laying placenta. Has anyone else been diagnosed with that? How did it turn out? We're a little nervous as now we have to go back in at 24 weeks and get another full scan. The nurse called today to schedule it. Bonus that we get to see baby bean again, not so much for why we're going back. I'm not concerned about having to maybe get a c-section, its more of all of the other complications that could happen.

I'll try to do personals later, but wanted to ask the question while I had a break at work.

My sister had a low lying placenta at about 20 weeks, but by the time of her second u/s it had moved further up. However, as for a c-section, I didn't have any issues with mine. I didn't have any placenta issues, just a big boy. I knew when he was coming, and didn't have to worry about any of complications related to a natural childbirth. However, to each their own.

Lyd- Thinking of you this morning and sending healthy thoughts your way.

Wishing - glad to hear that all is well with your two little ones. Just take it easy and keep getting the rest that your body needs now more than ever.

Dogzrule - Glad that you had a chance to see your little baby and the amazing flashing HB. It's a great feeling isn't it?

I had my last appointment with my RE yesterday and she released me to my Peri/OB. I didn't expect that but I guess at this stage and with all the potential complications it's the best care for me and the beans at this time. She did reinforce that we should think about reduction but that the Peri should be the one that gives us all the latest medical data to help with our decision. This is no easy road for sure. The upside is that as of yesterday all three babies are growing strong, HBs were all over 150 and they look good. The saga continues...

Sorry LYD, keep the faith, prayer is a powerful thing.

AFM: DH and I were scheduled to go away this wkend for our anniversary.... but instead we are bracing for hurricane Irene here in NC. It is steadily approaching. So tonight we are going to venture out for a nice dinner and maybe some crib shopping b4 it hits us later on tonight. On the bright side, the weather will keep me indoors and allow me to get some organizing and possibly some crib assembly done!
