Hi ghost,

I wanted to see what ur thoughts r.

Clinic 1
Ivf- overstim estrogen over 12000, bfp , us at 6w, 6w3d, 6w5d no heartbeat. No chromosome issues with embryo.

Clinic 2
Ivf bfp us 7w no heart beat hcg doubled every 48 until 6.5 weeks then slowed to a littl less than double in 48hrs. bleeding at 5w due to sm blood Clot. Resolved in 2 days.

Fet planned oct2011.

Numbers for the most recent cycle were great. All prego symptoms...

Waiting for results from miscarriage...just did kyrotype test this weekend and will be doing blood clot testing when hcg is zero.

Any thoughts....2 pregnancies and no heartbeat seen on either one.....

We see these sometimes, maybe one in 10 pregnancies or so. I don't know the exact rate, but it's not very rare. But it's odd to get them in both of your pregnancies. My first thought was to try genetic testing, but I see you are already doing that.

It's normal for the hCG growth to slow down after 6 weeks. Sounds like whatever issue you had was not reflected in your hCG level. I'm not sure the "overstim" had anything to do with it either.

Let us know what the karyotype finds.

Hcg defiantly did not reflect....last measure a few days before 7w us was 88,000. It will be a while for karyotype results. All goes well until the 5.5- 6 w mark...im just concerned because it happened to be the same exact thing....anything else u think that it could be? Or anything else that I can do? Hcg is still over 9000 as of Saturday......

I got the results yesterday from my m/c....normal fetus.....this is my second miscarriage and they both were normal male....does this change any of the testing?
