I'm in Naugatuck. Where are you? What clinic do you go to? I go to Yale in New Haven; although, I have been to UConn in Farmington.

My BETA is this Wednesday. I had an early blast & a compacted morula transferred at a 5dt.

Oh ok, so you're pretty close to me. I did a long-term sub teaching position at Dag Middle School 4 years ago. If you don't mind me asking, who is your RE? I had Benadiva.

Hey ladies,

Do any of y'all need Bravelle? I have 18 vials of Bravelle that will expire in October and then some in November. They are free. I'm glad to pass them along to someone in need. I also have a few vials of Menopur. I would have to count exactly how many. I think around 9ish?

I also have one vial of PIO.

ETA: I'd rather not deal with shipping outside of the US. :-)

Nancy-I am considering doing PIO with this next FET in late Sept/early Oct. I could use it if it's still available. Is it very painful. I recently had a MC and was on vaginal progesterone. I am trying to make some changes with this next cycle and PIO was one of those changes. How painful is it?

moorebaby wrote:6dp5dt...Shouldn't I be having some symptoms...even 1, lol? Well, last time it didn't work I started getting brown discharge when I wiped in the evening of 6dp5dt & it got worse & worse & went from brown to red throughout the next 3 days up to my BFN. So, if that starts to happen in the next few days, it's probably a negative for me.

I'm still being optimstic & trying to stay positive.

P.S. The storm is pretty much out of CT. A lot of the state got pounded, especially the coast. We are about 30 minutes away from the coast, so we were ok; although, some parts of our town have major flooding & power outages. We got lucky as far as the area of town we're in. Hope everyone else who has had to endure the storm is doing fine.
Ester - its way too early for symptoms. most symptoms people get at this point are from PIO anyway. and since you are not on PIO you shouldnt be expecting any. i've been through 5 cycles now and the only thing i learned is that there are no symptoms this early on - twinges dont mean anything, nausea or sour breast - that's all just PIO stuff this early on. hang in there - you'll know on wednsday and you have 2 excellent 5 day embies - your chances are great!

AFM - i felt better today emotionally. i was actually hugely distracted by my sick son. poor guy got some sort of a flu virus - fever, the works. we went to a doctor on sunday and he then slept and took a lot of children's ibuprofein and watched sesame street from teh couch. we found out from the doctor that advil reduces fever better than tylenol so our little guy was happier after that. lets see how he sleeps tonight. last night he woke up 5 times - which was a weird throwback to infant time. made me think - do you really want to do this again? but of course the answer is yes!!!! for all the sleepless nights in the world the answer is always yes!!
also, had a good talk with DH. somehow we got to taking about the possibility of twins and how i was excited by it and he was scared (financial burden). it was a ridiculous conversation if you ask me actually - because there is no way i will get two embryos to take and actually make it to the end. i'll be lucky enough to get one more if you ask me. but somehow we got to discussing it - and it ended up being a very good discussion actually. i understand the financial responsibility he is under. and i told him i dont care if we live in a smaller house, different neighborhood, whatever - none of it matters. we'll make it work on a budget - lots of people do. just tell me what the budget is and we'll make it work. that made him feel better - he thought he needed to maintain a certain lifestyle for all of us. i was like - if we are lucky enough to have 3 kids - we can go live in the woods for all i care. i dont care about size of house, or expensive toys or clothes or any of it. none of it matters to kids except happy and stress-free parents. that's the only thing kids want - parents that are happy and have time to spend with them and do not fight over finances.

Lyd10,
I can so relate to what you're saying, I would be willing to downsize everything to have 2-3 kids. We have a comfortable 4 bedroom house but I would be willing to pitch a tent and camp out if that is what it took too! Dh talks alot about selling his truck, but I won't let him b/c I know that is the one thing that he is proud of...Thankfully my name is on the sales contract so he cannot sell it without my signature ha! Everytime we walk into Sam's Wholesale Club we're over there checking out the flatscreen TVs, and I keep telling him we should get one but he reminds me we have priorities. I am very proud of him for making these sacrifices but I also want him to be happy. He tells me these are things and all he wants is a family of his own. I know he is going to make the greatest dad someday and that day will be the biggest blessing of our life. :D

Happy everyone made it through Irene safe and sound! We had some heavy-duty rain and wind, but nothing too serious.

AFM: Triggering tonight!! ER Wednesday morning. She said everything looks real good. 8 on my right 7 on the left, she also said there were a few smaller ones, but probably won’t be mature. Many of the follies are around 19mm. The only thing that makes me anxious about ER is that I got so sick last time.

So this week I am heading in to nervous town and then scary town even before crazy town…. I have to get through Fert report then Fragile X report and a 5dt…… Crazy town is actually looking like a vacation resort town for here. I know, if and once I get there, it won’ t be though….

Last time I went from 12 follies to 10 mature to 7 fert to 1 to transfer.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!
