AFM: Triggering tonight!! ER Wednesday morning. She said everything looks real good. 8 on my right 7 on the left, she also said there were a few smaller ones, but probably won’t be mature. Many of the follies are around 19mm. The only thing that makes me anxious about ER is that I got so sick last time.

So this week I am heading in to nervous town and then scary town even before crazy town…. I have to get through Fert report then Fragile X report and a 5dt…… Crazy town is actually looking like a vacation resort town for here. I know, if and once I get there, it won’ t be though….

Last time I went from 12 follies to 10 mature to 7 fert to 1 to transfer.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!
Keeping you in my prayers. I hope you have lots of great enbabies this time. Sending you much love.

AFM-I spoke to my RE today. The Plan is as follows. He is going to order one more week of BCP. He said that he wants at least two weeks of zero Hcg levels before we begin the Lupron. I'm ok with this. It only delays things by a week. We have decided to go forward with the PIO. My RE has agreed to order Lidocain Cream for me to apply to my tush in order to decrease or hopefuly eliminate the pain from the injections. We have agreed to do the PIO until we hopefuly get a positive Beta and then we will continue with the PIO until u/s time and we can hear a heartbeat. Then we will switch to the vaginal progesterone. Finally, we discusses the quality of the embryos we have left. This has been a huge topic for me this weekend. I have been thinking about this alot and researching it online (5 day FET vs 6 day FET). His recommendation is to go ahead with the day 6 embryos which are of higher quality. The two embryos we will be transferring are one 4AB and one 2BB. We are looking at tentative FET on the week of September 26. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying really hard that we bring home a baby or two this time.

22years - CONGRATS on being PUPO!!

MadameX - This time will be different. I so know how you feel. Feel free to lean on me. I get it...I really do.

Wehavehope - Sounds like a plan! I'm thinking about doing PIO instead of suppositories this time too. I'm so not happy about it.

Lauren319-I know what you mean. I am not happy about having my but stuck with a one to one and a half inch needle but if I bring home a baby it will all be worth it. No pain, no gain. Hopefuly the Ludocain Cream will help. Keep me posted about what you decide. We can share stories, I'm sure.

I'm back online! Glad to hear that all of you Northeast ladies are safe and sound. We just had power restored about 2 hours ago! I got my fert report yesterday and out of the 4 eggs, 2 made it to fertilize and the RE said that he expects them to continue growing. I have been praying ever since that they continue to grow and divide. As it stands, I will go for ET tomorrow. I just have to wait for the nurse to call tomorrow morning and tell us what time. I cannot tell you how excited I am and I just want them safe inside of me.

Last night I had to do PIO shot and OMG was I scared!!! I got everything all prepared and DH was ready to do it and I just couldn't! I was drenched with sweat. I ran into the bedroom and got a pillow...ok..now I'm ready! NO No, wait!! I'm glad DH found it hysterical! In the end, I took the needle and did it MYSELF!! I felt sooo much better about doing it that way and shocker....it didnt hurt one bit! Now, I know that it might not be that way every time, but I will take this one experience and run with it.

22years- congrats on being PUPO!!! So exciting!! I'm right behind you!

MadameX- good luck with retrieval on Wednesday! I bet you will be fine. I was soo afraid of getting sick because I always get sick, but I didn't this time. It was a nice surprise!

We- happy that you are having progress.

Moorebaby-not everyone has symptoms. I have a coworker who is about 13 weeks and she didnt have any symptoms until her 6th or 7th week. Try and stay positive.

LYD-I hope your little guy is feeling better.

Hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits!!

Good evening ladies :)

Madame X: Thats super - well done on such a good result. I hope that ER goes really well for you. :D

We: I hope it works out for you, you are incredibly committed and you deserve much happiness

22yearslater: Wow well done to you! Triplets :D Thats fantastic. Welcome to the two week wait :D

Mandarae: Thats a great result and your RE sounds really positive. Best of luck with it all.

Lyd10: How is your little boy doing?

Lauren: Seriously - he never called? thats just awful!

Afm: I've got a bloody toothache - seriously - I never get toothache - I mean I have teeth prone to cavaties but I've had so much work done they should be fine! This was niggling and I thought I would easily get through the two weeks but if its stil like this tomorrow I'm going to have to call my dentist and probably get a filling. I can't believe it! Other than that - like Moorebaby, I'll be getting my results on Thursday :)

Glad to hear everyone is doing ok up there with Hurricane Irene, I wouldn't know the first about preparing for a storm like that, b/c my hometown is Gadsden, AL and I moved down here in 2008, I hear hurricane season ends in November which cannot come quickly enough for all of us.

Mandarae, you have me laughing over here and I am the same way with my dh. He always yells out "Ready?" and I'm like nope not yet gotta ice down my asset a little longer but I could never do them all by myself...So yes run with that experience because you made out real good!

Lauren, Yes changing clinics may be the best decision ever, you deserve a reliable clinic that you can depend on even if you have to commute like me. I am so happy dh and I changed doctors but still plugging along.

AFM: Spoke to my nurse Jamie today and she said my RE still wants to see my Thyroid levels lower for the clinic's preferance even though they dropped to 2.9 (from 3.5). Said she will call me tomorrow with my RE instructions, but I had to ask if this might incease my chances to getting pregnant naturally and she told me probably not since dh has a male factor with the motility of his swimmers. Said his sample in August wasn't very strong, but I quickly reminded her he also only had 18 hours before our procedure to restore sperm since everything happened SO fast with our iui....Now waiting some more. Dh told me tonight he wants to hear what our RE thinks, but is willing to try the iui again. Seriously there should be a way they can freeze the BEST sample and make this an easier process...

Sunshine-so glad to hear that the thyroid level went down. I know the waiting is awful but getting your thyroid level to within normal limits will definantely increase your chances for a successful pregnancy. There actualy is such a thing a's sperm cryopreservation. It's done for cancer patients before they undergo chemotherapy. But it's relatively new. Not all labs do it. I understand it's quite expensive and it's not completely perfected yet. Still a work in progress but it is done and it does work.

hi guys - i am just totally exhausted. it was an emotionally and physically exhausting weekend. thank god, DS is feeling better. but still i had to pick him up from day care at lunch because his fever was up again. and this morning i went to the doc first thing because last night i started having pain on the right side. the pain was there all night long. so they saw me first thing in teh morning. and couldt find ectopic on the u/s. they also did a mini d&c to get the tissue from the sac to test for hcg - to make sure that hcg was coming from the sac in the uterus and not something else in the tube. so i'll know more tomorrow and as by beta comes down hopefully.
all in all it was just an exhausting weekend - with friday me realizing that i was not pregnant anymore and then the possibility of ectopic. and then the pain in the side - and hopefully it is still not an ectopic but a weird stomach ache. anyway - not out of the woods yet by any means. i am waiting for the results of the culture to make sure that it was the sac in the uterus that was making the hcg. if not - then ectopic is back on the table.
i am just exhausted now. looking forward to the 4 day weekend. my DH's parents are coming to visit and i am lookng forward to them seeing their grandkid.

i am off to nurse my stomach ache - whatever it is - hopefully just a stomach ache. what a weird coincidence - i must have eaten some bad food.

Ester, Ninde - i am so excited to hear about your upcoming beta news!!!!

Lyd10-I am so sorry your going through all of this and that you are not feeling well. I happy though that your son is feeling a little better. Unfortunately, I've learned that when it rains it pours. Try to keep your head up. This will happen for you. I am praying that this is not an ectopic and that soon your Beta will come down and you'll be ready yo jump back in. Sending you lots of love and a great BIG hug. Hang in there.

Lydia- 1st of all, I'm so sorry that things didn't turn out good & now w/ everything that you're going through is not cool at all. I really hope it's not an ectopic! Hope your stomach ache goes away soon & your DS feels better soon! Let us know tomorrow what they find.

Christy- It is an excellent sign that your thyroid level has dropped! They should be able to freeze DH's sample...it's a fairly common practice. In fact, our old clinic still has a frozen sample from my DH.

Ninde- Ugh...tooth aches are not fun! I'm sorry! Just 1 more day for you until your BFP!

Lauren319- Let us know how your SnS went today.

Lauren- Did you contact them & ask why they never called? That is just absurd! I don't blame you for getting the heck out of there! Good luck w/ the search for a new job & a new clinic!

mandarae- I'm hoping I'm 1 of those lucky gals w/ no symptoms! So, are you PUPO???? Let us know how ET went & when your BETA is. I used to have to do PIO when I was w/ my old clinic & I have no idea how you were able to do it yourself...kuddos to you!

22yearslater- Yay for being PUPO...congrats!!! I have 8 year old triplet nephews...they're a blast! When's your BETA?

WeHaveHope- Your plan sounds solid & promising!!! The week of the 26th will be here soon!!! I will be praying for you!

MadameX- Good luck on your ER tomorrow! Cannot wait to hear how it goes! Hoping you don't get sick this time. A transfer on Labor Day would be a really great sign!

Prayersnpies- I think you have an u/s today...how did it go?

LauraN- Fingers crossed for a great double on your 2nd BETA today!

AFM- Well, yesterday was supposed to be the 1st day of school for teachers. Due to the storm & the clean-up that is going on in the town I teach, it was cancelled. Today was supposed to be the 2nd day of school for teachers. It was also cancelled. Because we need at least 1 day for teachers before the kids come back, the kids' 1st day, which would've been tomorrow, has been postponed indefinitely. I'm now waiting for a call from my superintendent to see if teachers will be going in tomorrow. Whether I will have to or not, I will now be able to have my bloodwork at my clinic for my BETA tomorrow instead of having to go to Quest. This is because even if I have to go into school, I won't have to be in until 8:30, so that will give me plenty of time, whereas if it was the kids' 1st day, I would've had to be in school at 7:30 at the latest, which would've been impossible. So, I will definitely know my BETA results tomorrow afternoon.

I feel fine...no real symptoms. The Crinone is yucky...it leaks & brownish/black clumps are here & there (sorry, TMI). I've had headaches, very minor amount of cramps the past few days, & that's about it- no sore boobs, no nausea, no weird cravings, no heartburn; although, I know it would be too early for those..I think.
