sunshine : I wonder why they cant freeze for you? My dh has real problems producing samples as a result of his multiple sclerosis and the clinic froze 3 samples over time for him just in case

My beta is Sept 10th, I think I will start POAS next Thur.
I had my transfer yesterday, is it normal to have mild cramps? I am taking Progesterone and Estrace vaginally, could that cause cramping? This is my first IVF and I am clueless

so I had another beta today. Didn't turn out like it was "supposed" to. It was only 282. I have to go back Thursday and they are hoping the number will double Thursday. My clinic really wants to see the number double every 2 days, but I read where it's 48-72 hours and mine is doubling at 73 hours...so just really slow? I don't know, but I'm totally stressing now. I guess there is nothing to do but think positive thoughts and wait and see what happens on Thursday.

22yearslater: Im like you in that this is my first ivf. I had some tenderness but I put that down to healing after the retrieval.

Hey ladies, Hope you all are doing well- and an exciting week for several of you... Some BFP's coming to Moorebaby, Ninde, Madame X and Anton!! Whoohoo. Lyd- I'm glad you are feeling better and it sounds like your clinic is great at communicating with you and seeing how to get that BFP next time. Lauren- I saw your clinic still never called-- that is horrible! All this stuff costs a fortune and that is just really bad customer service. Glad you are moving on to another clinic. LauraN- I'm new to all this ivf stuff too but, I think its best not to get too consumed about numbers... You'll see your little bean soon . AFM: Sorry, I know I've missed a lot of what's been going on with many of you-- you all are truly in my thoughts and prayers. My DH went in today as my Doc told me to last Tues for the follow up u/s and they didn't have me scheduled! She put down for next Tues. Ughhh. I'm impatient! She called my Doc and he had her set up another appt for tomorrow. So, I'll have news tomorrow. Thank you all for the happy, positive vibes . Have a great night!

Hi ladies,
Quick update. I received a call from my IVF Nurse today. Even though my RE wants me to stay on BCP for one additional week, I will be starting on Lupron injections tomorrow. My RE wants me on one additional week of BCP due to the MC. He wants at least two weeks of negative Beta before starting on the Estrogen Patches. So, my next appointment is for September 12th for blood work and ultrasound and I should start of the Estrogen Patches (Vivelle Dots) on that day. I got a lot of uplifting positive news today. My DH and I had discussed that we wanted the transfer this time to be scheduled for a Friday so I could relax the entire weekend plus maybe Monday as well. The last two transfered occured on a Wednesday and with one i went back to work on Thursday and with the second one i went back to work on Friday. We had also discussed realy wanting my RE to do the transfer this time. Not that we have ever had any issues with the other RE's but I realy want my RE this time. I trust him so much and feel so comfertable with him. We had talked about these things but had not discussed any of this with my RE or the nurse. So today the nurse tells me that my FET is scheduled for Friday, September 30th with my RE. OMG!!! How blessed can I possibly be? Well hopefuly blessed enough to bring home a baby this time. So far I have gotten everything I have asked for with this cycle including what I had not officially asked for but realy wanted. I also picked up the Lidocain Cream yesterday and should receive the PIO injections tomorrow. I am starting to feel realy good and positive about this next transfer. But I know I must be careful not to get carried away. I still need to remain grounded and realistic. I have been through too much and seen too much on this board and I don't want to have my heart ripped right out of my chest again. But, how do I stop that??? I can't, I just have to trust in God. Oh what wonderfull news to get your favorite RE and have the whole weekend to recooperate from the transfer. I couldn't be happier for you! Just think this time next month- you will be bringing home your baby(ies).
