6/21 Found out we are having a BOY!
Yesterday I had my ER, it went ok. Of course I didn’t make it tough without getting sick, not as bad as last time though. They used 2 vials less of the sedation meds. I was uncomfortable and really sore last night, but I am feeling really good today. Even headed out for a 3 mile walk with my feisty dog!
The fert report came in a little while ago--- 12 retrieved and 7 embryos
This is the same report as last time. They switched protocols too to the antagonist to try to retrieve more eggs. I am not feeling confidant because I feel like I am heading down the path as last time, which left me with 1 to transfer, which I didn’t even know the grade of… I know you guys might think 7 embryos is a good thing, but now I have to make it through PGD for the Fragile X and then to a 5dt….

MadameX - I'm progressing the same as last time too with twice the amount of drugs. We fragile x ladies just have lazy ovaries. I know, WTF is that supposed to mean? I don't feel so lazy. Anyhow, I only had one last time too and although it was chemical, I did get a BFP. You will too...and it'll stick. Your report is gonna be different and even it's not, it is more than fine. I know it's easy for me to say because I'm a week behind you (I'll be in your shoes soon!), but I really believe that we can do this! I'm here for you, babe. Good thoughts for tomorrow's fert report and fingers crossed for a full week of anticipating results. It's gonna be a good one!

Congrats ladies on the awesome beta #'s!!!! I just know this is the time for you both! I'm so excited for you!
As for me, went again today to do a follow up beta since the last one wasn't doubling like they wanted....and, this time it actually went down. So my first one was 114, 2nd 282 and this one was 272. They told me to stop my meds (progestrone & estrogen patches) and to come back in a week to re-test. So, unfortunately, this is it for us. We can't afford to do a second round of IVF, too rich for our blood. We had to take out a loan to do this round.
So good luck to all of you!!!!!

I'm thinking positive thoughts that you'll have a great fert report & that after your PFG for th Fragile X, you'll have several beautiful babies that will stick & grow & give you a BFP! You so deserve this! I'm thinking of you!
Ninde wrote:Ok ladies - the numbers are in for me too. Its 545 and a BFP Oh dear Lord, this is just amazing! Unlike you guys in the US I don't have any more blood tests (or progesterone support for that matter) in Ireland. I have a scan on 22nd September and then they can tell me if that number is single or multiples! So I'm 4 weeks pregnant apparently and am due on May 8th - oh wow!
Ninde
Congrats to you! That's a great strong beta... So although you don't have any more lab tests, I think things look great! How many DPO are you?

LauraN-oh honey, I am so sorry. Is there any possible way that you guys would be able to try again? I don't know your particular situation but take sometime to think about it before closing this chapter. Please remember that we are all here for you and love you. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
