Congrats ladies on the awesome beta #'s!!!! I just know this is the time for you both! I'm so excited for you!

As for me, went again today to do a follow up beta since the last one wasn't doubling like they wanted....and, this time it actually went down. So my first one was 114, 2nd 282 and this one was 272. They told me to stop my meds (progestrone & estrogen patches) and to come back in a week to re-test. So, unfortunately, this is it for us. We can't afford to do a second round of IVF, too rich for our blood. We had to take out a loan to do this round.

Awe, sweetie I'm so sorry! This is so unfair! Maybe you can get a discount or do a shared-risk program? I know what you're going through...it was me about 2 years ago. This is why I'm a little nervous about tomorrow...cautiously optimistic. (((HUGS)))

Oh LauraN: I'm really sorry. I don't know how the financing of IVF works in the US - but if its anything like Ireland, it isn't financed by anyone other than the couple. It seems so unfair that it can come down to money. I'm so so sorry. Is there any way around it for you? And before any consideration of the money, I can only imagine your disappointment right now. I honestly don't know what to say but I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers x

Hello everyone! I haven't posted here in a while, but I have been following along with you all.

Ester- Congrats!!!! I'm sure you'll have a great repeat beta tomorrow!

Ninde- Awesome beta!!! I know that ultrasound on the 22nd can't come soon enough! Can't wait to see you on the pregnant after treatment board!

MadameX- That's a great retrieval and fert report! Praying for lots of healthy embies to choose from!

LauraN- I was so sad to read your post today. IVF has been described to me as an underwater rollercoaster, and I think I agree with that. As soon as you hit a high point and feel like you can breathe, it seems like you have another disappointment. I'm so sorry that you're going through this. You and your DH will be able to have the family you were meant to have, it may just take some creativity. I'm praying for you.

AFM- I have been able to have a few ultrasounds now, and on Monday my babies actually looked like babies with little brains and beating hearts. It was magical, and we are just praying that these babies stay strong and grow, grow, grow! Thank you all for your prayers and support!

And of course the congratulations isn't official until I wish you congrats on "the boards." I will anxiously be awaiting beta 2. You have been through so much and you deserve this! Ester, Praying for another good beta tomorrow. The other day when I heard your results I was on Cloud 9, seriously I even celebrated with popcorn over here. Then I had a sudden burst of energy and cleaned house, lol Belles came over and wanted to vacumn and help me dust lol she uses a whole can of pledge on one piece of furniture, gotta love her!
Anyway just checking in tonight and I wil be praying for you too!

I know it doesn't make it any easier, nor take away any pain, but I can relate to how you are feeling tonight. I keep asking myself how can we keep going on too, money doesn't grow on trees...But I do know if we keep praying we will find a way.
Sometimes I just want to claim my neighbors' daughter as my very own but I do know there are kids out there that need good homes too. There are programs out there we can get involved in and make a difference in someone else's life. I don't know why but just thinking about those possibilities sheds some light on new hope. Then again I have also witnessed somene on here who tried four IVFs but it wasn't until the month that she took a break actually became pregnant. Miracles do happen everyday. Regardless on what the future holds, I'm keeping you in my prayers. xoxoxoxo Christy

Lou - HI!!!!! I'm doing well. I only have 6 tiny follicles so far, but I have an SnS tomorrow to see if any more have popped up. Fingers crossed. How are you?!

AFM - well, as I said to Lou I have another SnS tomorrow. I feel like crap, I'm fat, my whole body hurts (I have fibromyalgia which is now completely acting up), and I'm out of it. I hit my car in the garage today. My husband has informed me that he telling his mother about our IVF attempt because she keeps asking when she can visit and he doesn't want to lie to her. She was just here a month ago and I can't stand her. It was only two years ago that she told the family that I was going to have a baby to trap DH into our marriage so he couldn't leave me. Um, he's the one that wants the kid. I HATE HER and now I HATE HIM for now just telling her to **** off. Yep, that's me today...little ray of sunshine.

Lauren319-holly crap. I am so sorry you are feeling this way. When I feel like I could just kill someone because there is so much going on that I wish wasn't or I wish I had control over, I always try to remember tha in the end, when all is said and done, it will be me and DH. As upset as you are with him today, you will feel that overwhelming love tomorrow, I promise you. So give youaelf a day. Don't try to deal with this when youare so upset. Things will look much different tomorrow and you will be able to talk to him and have him understand how you feel. I wish you all the best Ms. Little Ray Of Sunshine. Take it easy. I know, easier said then done, but please try. Sensing you a great BIG HUG. I hope it makes you feel a little better.
