Hi ladies . Thanks for the welcome Blissful... Well, a little about me (besides what's in my sig) um... I am a highschool special ed teacher/social worker, live in San Antonio TX, no children- just one spoiled mutt, and thrilled to be pregnant . This was my first IVF and so surprised and elated it worked!! I am almost 8 weeks- and the shock is kinda wearing off but at times I feel like I am dreaming lol. I thought for sure I would make the news when I'm 70 for being the oldest woman to get pregnant . My DH and I have told all of our family and some of our closest friends... We have not bought a thing but, I am really excited to shop!! It has been great to read back through all your posts-- Hope you all have a great week and Happy Labor Day!

Deft - so sorry to hear about your time in the ER, but yay that you are starting to feel the LO move!

Wishing - Glad to hear you had a great u/s that showed your LOs starting to like actual babies. I was really nervous to stop taking my meds. But it is a big milestone in this process. The registering process is so overwhelming just because of all the choices and products that are out there today. But as long as you get the necessities, the babies will be happy no matter what.

Bliss - I am so happy to hear your quad screen results came back all normal!

Ninde and Prayers - Welcome! It is so exciting when new women join us every month!

ttcnb - what is Milk clothing? Do you have some friends who could give you things their babies don't need anymore or have outgrown?

Dallas - you look amazing!

AFM - my MIL bought us our stroller yesterday! We wanted the BOB but we didn't think anyone would really spend that kind of money on us, but she insisted on getting us the stroller we wanted. All BOBs are currently 15% off at REI for their Labor Day sale, which is awesome! Having our stroller is making this whole process a little more real. In my religion, we aren't supposed to buy gifts for the baby before he arrives. But it was just a great deal, and we couldn't pass it up. And I figure, I didn't buy it so it's not breaking the rules!

Addy- awesome on the stroller! I have the city mini on my registry and my fingers are crossed. I will also need a jog stroller and still need to shop for that. I think you are safe on the religious thing. Now your MIL might have some explaining to do...

Do you have a nickname for your little one? How about a REAL name? (or at least some favorite options). Do tell...

AOTW- I tried to come up with a nickname in the early weeks (peanut, pumpkin, bean, etc) but nothing stuck. When I refer to the baby "she" is what often sneaks out although I try to be gender neutral.

As far as NAMES...we have had our boy name picked out for years. "West Winslow." We do not have a middle name picked out yet and its going to be tough to do because my husband's family has a tradition of the boy taking the first name of the father as his middle name which would be "West William Winslow". That is yucky on so many levels! It sounds awkward and the initials WWW stink. So we are probably going to have two middle names to break it up a little bit. I am waiting to find out the gender before I spend the brain power.

We picked out our girl name two years ago. "Evelyn Winslow." We plan on calling her Eve or Evie. No middle name for her yet either. Once again, saving the brainpower for when we know for sure what we are having.

As I have mentioned before, DH and I want a boy. But he loves the girl name so much he sometimes hopes for a girl just so we get a chance to use it!

Addy- Thanks so much for the reassurance about stopping the meds. It makes me really nervous, but excited too. I'm so ready to be done with PIO! How far along were you when you stopped your meds? Good job with the stroller! It's great to have relatives that want to help you out, and I don't think it's cheating if someone else buys it!

Dallas- You look awesome! I hope I look that good at 20 weeks! Right now I just look like I've let myself go around the middle. I can still wear my clothes, but the pants (especially jeans) are uncomfortable.

Prayersnpies and Ninde- Welcome to the board! I've been following you both on the summer board, and I'm so excited to see you both over here!

Alisa- I love your names! Evelyn and West both go so well with Winslow! I'm sure you'll be able to come up with the perfect middle name once you know the "flavor" of the baby!

AFM- I don't really have a nickname for my babies yet. I call them beans sometimes, but nothing has really stuck. As far as real names, DH and I have 2 girl names picked out, but haven't really settled on any boy names. DH and I made a pact about 5 years ago that we would not share our baby names until the babies were born...of course back then we didn't know how long it would take us to get here! So unfortunately I can't let anyone know the names, but I love hearing everyone else's names!

I've stared calling the little one "Bubs" . . . problem is, DD is also "Bubs" . . . or DH will ask, "How's the baby?" and I ask, "WHich one? Our 16 month old or the little one to be?" =) If it's a girl, we like the name Caroline . . . Grady for a boy . . . we have the u/s on wedensday and our gender reveal party on the 17th . . . hope I can wait that long

Mora- GREAT names. I particularly love Caroline. Classic and so pretty! I am having my gender reveal on a Tuesday because I don't think I can make it until the 17th. Gosh I hope our little ones cooperate!

We call the baby little bean at the moment. If it's another girl, she will be Alecia Katherine. If little bean is boy, he will be Elijah William. My mom calls the little bean "itty bitty."

Hello ladies and thank you for all the lovely welcomes About myself, well I'm 39, turning 40 in October. I live in ireland and I'm a psychotherapist. No children just a golden retriever and a cat! Like prayers, this was my first ivf. I'm still in the early stages - 5 weeks tomorrow My husband has multiple sclerosis so that's why we went icsi . My first u/s is on Sept 22 and I cant wait!

Bliss - the city mini was our second choice. We hope the BOB will be our stroller that does it all (jogging and everyday use). I like the name West! I always wanted to have a boy named Westley, but DH isn't a fan.

Wishing - I began to stop my meds at Week 9, but RE said the placenta takes over at week 8. I was so thrilled when we got to stop the PIO. I'll never forget our last shot of that med, DH hit a vein and I got blood all over him. What a way to end I can't wait to hear your names when your LOs arrive!

Deft - I love the name Grady! Caroline is really nice as well, one of my best friends has that name.

Dogz - You also have some great names!

Ninde - I got my bfp on my first ivf as well. Your golden retriever is going to love the addition to your family. I'm interested to see how our shiba inu is going to handle the LO.

AOTW - We haven't decided on a name yet, but the last time we really sat down and talked about it we figured out three names that we both liked. Peyton, Bryce, and Miles. My vote is for Peyton Bryce, but DH says that is hard to say fast. We don't really have a nickname that we are using, but I do find myself calling him kid. I need to come up with a better nickname When I thought we were having a girl, I used to call our LO Pippa. I don't know why, but I really like that name.

hello everyone!

Ive been MIA for a long long time! How's everyone? Hope you all doing good~
(I'll do personals later ^^,)

AFM- Every thing seems to be fine. Baby's started to kick at 18 weeks and as of now it's getting stronger luckily my baby didn't give me any discomforts at night but I might have when I hit 30 weeks. I'm happy I'm over 20 weeks and this journey really makes anxious. I really wanna go shop for my baby's things but I can since in SOUTH KOREA they'll never say what's the gender not until 32 weeks. It really drives me crazy so we tried to go to another clinic but she refuses to tell so all we have to do now is to wait and hopefully next week (Sept. 15) is our ANATOMY SCAN. Well, if we'll be lucky and if our baby let us see what's his/her gender it would be a relief. Until here for now and I promise I'll do personals when I get a long free time to set and type ^^,
