Ester -- Super huge congrats! this is long overdue my friend - hopefully this baby will come home with you this spring!
Ninde - I've found that most places outside the USA do only one beta. Here in Israel, I have only one beta drawn (at 17'dpo'). Then I'm scheduled for an u/s a week later (at 5w3d pregnant) and another the week after (6w3d). I've heard from other people here that if the first beta is low, they do follow up blood tests to make sure it's going up, but if the first number is good there is no reason to do more (mine has always been above 250 on 17'dpo'). Congrats and try to relax until your u/s!

Ugh. Still only 4 follies. I do have 2 very small ones (less than 10) so we're stimming for at least 2 more days to see if we can get them to miraculously grow to double their size. I onkl have 1 follie on my left side. Lazy little shit of an ovary. I'm clearly defective.
Lauren319- I still think everything will be fine with this cycle. If you stim for 2 more days then trigger that should given them enough time to be mature! Plus, if I remember correctly you had a great fert report last time!! Think positive, I know its hard belive me!
22years-that's great a BFP on the HPT!! Congrats!! Keep us posted as you continue to POAS, I'm sure the line will continue to get darker.
AFM: Both embies were there waiting for us today. The boy was hatching. The embryologist said that was the area where they did the biopsy. I hope that is ok? They didn't tell me the grades, but they said they were both beautiful and looked good to me. So tomorrow I'm suppose to head back to school. We have an in-service. But, I'm not going to go, which I would love to get in my room and be all prepared, but want to take all precautions. My RE really suggest taking it easy day of transfer and the following day. I will be there for the first day with the kids. Also, one of my teacher friends will call me and fill me in on everything I missed. Def going to be heading in super early on Wednesday.
Oh I almost forgot, beta is 9/16!

Lauren319: your ovaries might be laid back and chilled rather than lazy seriously though they cant really tell until they go in aboard are you physically feeling?
Madame x:definately take that time, it will be good for you.

MadameX-congratulations on being PUPO with twins!!! A hatching embie is always a great sign. I can wait to hear about you great Beta. I am keeping everything crossed for good luck.
Lauren319-keep your chin up. Like MadameX said, with two more days of stim your going to do very well. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Madame X - I am so excited for you!!!! Enjoy your time to relax, it will be worth it. I cannot wait for your beta, I just know there is a BFP around the corner.
Moorebaby - That is an awesome beta, sounds like everything is going good!!! Cannot wait to see your numbers on Tuesday!
Anton - Completely forgot to respond to your biopsy question on the fall board! Well someone mentioned to me that there was a study done that showed some success with endometrial biopsies one cycle prior to an IVF cycle. Apparently there is a theory that the trauma triggers tissue growth and increased blood flow to the endometrium resulting in a more hospitable environment of embryo implantation. I shared the article that reported the results of the study with my RE (I have to look for it to post here) and he was willing to do it since we had already planned to do an HSG to see if there were any issues. He said the timing for the HSG would have been a good time to do the biopsy. So he made 2 small scrapes inside my uterus after doing the HSG. I am thinking it would create the same response that a D&C would prior to an IVF cycle, but on a much smaller level. Has your doc had success with the D&C prior to IVF?
Sending hugs to everyone!!

Hi ladies,
Quick question that I would like to run by you ladies. As all of you know I suffered a MC a little over a month ago. The bleeding from the MC only lasted one day. I presumably had my AF a few weeks later and I recall it being quite heavy and painful. It lasted about 7 days and then stopped. However, I have been, I guess spotting, on and off since then. I've gone from very dark brown discharge to pink discharge to red discharge. Sorry for TMI. I would call it discharge because I don't really even think you would consider it spotting. I am worried now because I have been on the Lupron for a week and I am still on the extra week of BCP's but still experiencing the discharge as I discribed above. My last BCP will be on the September 7th. I am due to have my blood work and Ultrasound on September 12th with or without AF but at this point I think it's going to be difficult for me to even identify the first day of my cycle (AF) because of the continued bloody discharge. I guess I should be able to identy AF once the flow actually starts (so day 2 or 3). I will call my RE tomorrow but has anyone experience anything like this before? Should I be worried that my uterus may not be ready to start this next cycle? I appreciate any feedback you ladies may have. Thank you as always.
