Hi Bro....I know! doesn't it blow your mind??? It's not that uncommon either. I live in a city of 150,000 and following a recent case of this the doctors were interviewed and said they have 5 a year on average. That means the UK must have them all time! HOW??? eratic AF is one thing, weight gain (surely a little bit) - but no movement? no nausea? no veiny, huge boobs???no piles??? there must be some sign surely?
Juliana posted today about someone in Holland doing this with TWINS recently! and they were full sized.
Just to finish this tirade off - an acquaintance of my Mum's went bowling last year, got a nasty back ache and was in so much pain her DF took her to A+E - and yep, you've guessed it...she promptly had their first child at the age of 47 without ever knowing she was pg. I know at this age it could be menopause but REALLY!!!!!!!!
My second cousin did ( the sister of my first egg donor) yes she was 21 and not in a relationship had a one night stand and never ever wanted children smoked and drank heavily , ran a pub , lugged bear barrells around and one night had a pain thought it was a appendicitis and 21/2 hours later gave birth to a 6.5 lb baby girl could not believe it in fact wouldnt have anything to do with it the first 7 weeks and now she is 8 years old called Chelsea, beautifull , she will never have any more !!!! . strange but true Really

NEVER GIVE UP!
Hey Traci - afterwards was there any info on how she'd not noticed? Did she have dodgy AFs usually, was she super skinny/plump/something else? It just seems to incredible.
No she had regular periods and kept on having them all the way through absolutly gobsmacked when she gave birth , she really didnt want any Children, she isnt skinny but not too fat either. Sods law!!!!! that is why I had her sister to donate as she has 3 kids too!! very fertile family but sadly didnt work!!!!
My neighbour has recently had a baby without knowing she was pregnant, she is only my age, (34) but thought she was goign through the change. She did'nt know until she had tummy pains.
Hi, just wanted to say i was one of those kids born to a parent who didnt have a clue. I still cant understand it myself but everyone in family confirms story, i was second child born, so you would think she would have spotted the signs but oh no. She had her af right throught pregnancy and didnt put on much weight, she said that when i came out there was not much water. I was born at home and my mum actually cut the cord herself, no-one else was present. In fact i was 3 days old living in the airing cupboard before anyone else found out, i think she went into shock!! But then i was a miny celebrity when grandad found out after mums sister told him that there was a crying doll upstairs. He hadnt even heard a thing for days.

Sue!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sitting her with my jaw hanging open!
An airing cupboard! wow I'm not surprised you were a mini-celeb I guess this means you weren't one of those babies who moved around much? Some women see little feet/hands/elbows sticking out..
This happened to my neighbour too. She was sent home from work feeling unwell, and within a few hours was in terrible pain. Her poor family thought she was dying so called an ambulance, and when the paramedic asked when she was due she didn't have a clue what they were talking about..........until little Olivia popped out. This lady was in her early forties and had a 21 year old daughter and 18 year old son. She thought she was gaining weight to middle age spread, and after the baby was born they said that she'd been carrying under her ribs which was why there were no obvious signs.

ttc 9 years. 38 yrs old, dh 8 hrs younger!First IVF in Aug 2002 and had ectopic.2nd IVF neg.3rd FET and negative.4th FET and positive but sadly lost our little boy at 20 weeks.5th FET and Alice Isobel and Emily Charlotte born 5th Aug 2004!
its funny reading peoples responses and other people stories, my auntie said she remembers going to the airing cupboard often to feed me as it was above her bed, i do wonder if they ever released me before i walked out? to this day i hate being too hot and i think that cupboard has a lot to answer for, i dont know why i wern't put in a draw like other babies born around that time (72)?
But it is a great story to tell the kids at school, i must mention it as i've already shared a few other stories and they think im mad, best not disappoint them.
Although i haven't started ivf yet about another 16months to go, i keep checking the boards to see how you lovely ladies are doing, and i really wish lady luck is shinning down on you all with BFP, it helps to bring some hope to life.
Wishing yous the best

My friend didn't know she was PG when we were 16 years old. She got tummy pains at a family dinner just before christmas and her family rushed her to hospital and the doctor came out to congratulate her parents and they didn't have a clue what he was on about. The baby girl was so quiet and hardly moved or cried after she was born it's hardly surprising my friend didn't know she was PG. She was still at school and always wore baggy clothes but she hardly showed. I never realised and I saw her a lot.
I does happen!
