Sore Throat

Post by DeeDee »

Woke up with a sore throat yesterday, and despite my trying to ignore it all day its still there today, and glands in my neck feel slightly swollen too.

My throat has always been my weak point and whenever I have been stressed as soon as I relax this is what happens

Have been keeping up the liquids and started drinking lemon and honey but am concerned that if my body is fighting off this it can't be a good sign for a +ive outcome.

With fingers crossed I am asking if anyone else has had similar sypmtoms during their 2ww and then gone on to have a BFP, I know that won't make any difference but it will give me hope.

Feeling a bit low today, so planning on sleeping lots this am, amd treating myself to a manicure later this pm.

I will be soooooo cross if my bloomin throat has jinxed this -

Don't worry about this - it's not a jinx ok - can be any number of things and your body will be just fine - the womb is separate. I have a friend who got terrible food poisoning and was in hospital during the 2ww - PG! and I am sure Gem on the other side was in hospital for worse things. Please don't think I am saying a sore throat is nothing but keep drinking the fluids and fine to take paracetamol honestly.
Good luck

Hi DeeDee, I hope the throat starts to get better very soon. Naps and manicures will double the lemon and honey's efforts!

Like you I'm having a very low day. Let's make tomorrow a better one :)

love
Debra.

Hi DeeDee

Oh poor you. Hope your throat gets better soon. It is OK to take paracetamol as it doesn't affect any developing foetus. I got terrible tummy pains and awful runs in my 2ww and was taking paracetamol and anti biotics and I got a BFP on my last treatment.

Just try to take it easy and keep up the fluids as you don't want to dehydrate like I did.

Keep up the PMA. I doubt very much that it is a jinx.

wrap up warm and drink lots of nice hot drinks, poor you , dont worry about it doing anything as they are completely seporate , paracetomol is fine to take , make yourself a hot honey and lemon drink.
