Just wanted to stop by and keep everyone posted. I've been reading along and will do personals once I'm on an actual computer. As of now I'm still on Magnesium to stop contractions, along with Endocin. The Magnesium isn't what I would call a good time but it could be worse. I have some flushing and dizziness but good other than that. They went ahead and gave me 2 rounds of steroid injections to help the babies develop. The MD says I will be here until at least 28 wks but should probably plan on staying in the hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy. Will post more when I get my computer hooked up tomorrow.

Everyday those babes stay put is golden! It doesn't sound like you are having any more contractions which is great news!

Rio, SD, ryann, and everyone... Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. I do have a bp monitor at home and it's much better when I'm there vs work. My OB office is attached to the hospital I work at so I just run up when I need to for appts. Good news, grandpa is coming home and doesn't need surgery! He's feeling good he says. No more pain. As long as he tolerates his diet, he'll come home tonight or tomorrow.


AFM- I'm feeling good. I've been going for a massage every two weeks. Wish I could afford to go more often! Yesterday was my last day of work for 16 weeks. It was bittersweet. I just moved into a huge new office on Tuesday and now my "replacement" will be using it. Aaarrrgghhh! I get to do another 24 hr urine collection tomorrow! Big fun there. My appt is Monday, let's hope my BP is good. Even more fun was filling up my washer to do baby stuff and pack my hospital bag and having it break! Granted the thing was 13 years old. My new one was just delivered and it's a front loader with a digital display. We bought an LG washer and dryer. Now I need to read the manual to learn to use it since it has like 18 cycles including steam, allergiene, and sanitize. The dryer is even more complicated, lol.

Just dropping by to keep everyone posted. Still hanging out here at the hospital. No more 24 hr monitoring which is nice since it allowed me to get a little more sleep last night. They montior babies/contractions at 6p and 6a everyday for an hour...only problem is that it takes them about 2 hours to get both babies on and still dont get an hours worth of data. All the nurses are already referring to them as troublemakers since they are so hard to keep on the monitors. Started procardia at midnight and am on 20 mg every 6 hrs. Gives a nice headache since my BP was already relatively low before i started it. Still having contractions which they say is expected for twins and my body frame. The worse ones seem to come every morning between 5-6a- the really good ones that include back contractions! Have been trying to keep up with everyone, and once i get into a routine ill be better about personals. Hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks Blair for trying to keep up with everyone, but most importantly take care of you and those troublemakers lol.We hope your blood pressure is being monitored regularly and the headaches subside as well as the crontractions keeping those little ones in a little longer. I cannot wait to "meet" them though!

Blair- so glad to hear things have calmed down enough to allow you to get some rest.

Ladies- baby sale at target! Online ends today, not sure about the store. We bought our Chicco lullaby high chair for 30 off, the matching playard for 40 off and the travel system for 40 off. Plus for buying all three we got a 100 gift card (store only I think... Not sure about online on the gift card). I'm stoked! Thought I should pass it along.

Ryann - They're gonna melt hearts!!! Oh, and medium flow nipples are working out GREAT! We went from it taking half an hour to eat 6 oz to under 15 minutes! And they burp a lot easier now, too.

AFM- tomorrow is our big anatomy scan!!! I am so excited to see the baby. I can't believe it has been two months. We are having a gender reveal with family Tuesday night so I won't know the flavor until then. I can hardly stand the excitement!

Blair- we are continuing to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Thought of you yesterday when the Cats pulled off a W. At least you are going to be on bedrest during football season and the beginning of basketball season.
