Hello All, thanks for moderating wehavehope

I'm finally on CD1 after being on Humira and intralipids for a month. I have immune issues that needed to be cleared up first.

I would like to join you ladies for September. I finally got the go ahead unless he finds a problem when I go in tomorrow. If he does not find anything here is my schedule:

Sept 10 take last BCP
Sept 12 Estradiol and CBC blood work and ultrasound
Sept 13 Start Microdose Lupron: 20 units am and pm
Sept 15 Microdose, start FSH am and pm start cipro start dexamethasone, baby asprin.

I'm excited and also very afraid. I'm scared as hell due to the fact that I will be taking so many drugs and hoping this will not cause me issues with health later. What is the use if having kids if you jack up your health trying to have them. As you can see, I have a bad case of the nerves tonight. Husband in NY during the anniversary of 911.

Sunshine and indigo, I am also on Levothyroxine, a thyroid hormone, is used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone.

Welcome to the group. I am so glad you found us. This board is filled with wonderful ladies so you will find lots of support here. Everyone is great. It natural to be nervous. hi everyone,
sorry i've been MIA, but im always checking the boards and stalking all my friends.
sorry im not doing personals, but im more depressed than u can imagine, as u all know, i went through 6 failed cycles and didnt even seen a BFP once, not chemical not ectopic, NOTHING!
i feel like im crazy to try again (but i just have to do it, i cant stop) i mean if it was going to happen it should be happened by now!!! i changed protocols and meds, did all kind of tests, i did everything i can, with the same result.... changed REs and none of them seem to give me an answer, they r just puzzled.
im starting to loose hope, and im starting to think seriously that if it was going to happen, it should be happened at least once in all the last cycles, but again i can't stop at least for my DH, he deserves to have kids....
sorry for the vent, dont have anyone else to talk to, no one understands.....

Fruit-Oh honey, I am so sorry that your feeling so down. Please stay positive and don't loose your faith. I know it's easier said then done but it is possible. I always suggest crashing the "parents after IVF board" or "babies due after IVF board". You can pull so much hope and strength from those boards. There are so many in similar situations that are ready to take home babies and others tha have ready taken home happy healthy babies. Please stay strong. This will happen. And by the way, you are not crashing. If you forgot, you are part of this group. So check in with us often even if you dint have a whole lot going on. We all completely understand how you feel and have had days like the one you are having today. Dont loose Hope. Remember, we love you and are all here foryou.

i can't stop crying right now, im out of hope, of faith, of energy, of everything.... i've never imagined i will reach this far...
sorry for being the downer today, u are all wonderful, strong women and i hate being the one who spreads negative energy... maybe i should come back on better days coz today is the worst day ever.

Fruit-you don't have to appologize. We have all had horrible days. You never need to appologize for feeling this way. Sweety, I know it's difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel when your feeling like this but you will. I promise! I am not sure if you pray, but if you do, this will help. Praying for peace in your heart and for the strength to move forward. You will be amazed at the result. I know you are strong. The fact that your feeling like this does not take away from ypur strength. Faith is not lost in moments like this, it is found, renewed, and strengthened. I'm am not just telling you this, I know this for a fact. With our love and support you will find the strength, faith, and hope you think you have lost. It's not lost just hidden underneath the pain and fear. It's there you just need to find it. Sending you a great BIG HUG. Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers.

We is absolutely right, everyone of us have days like this so don't you apologize my friend. We are here for each other and understand the hardship IVF plays with our emotions. Deep inside we are strong and tenacious and we shouldn't give up on something worth fighting for. I will be praying that God opens a door in your next step!

I'm currently reading a book called "The Infertility Cure" it's discovering a new path to see if Eastern methods can help make our Western treatments more effective. It teaches relaxation methods, using tranquillity (created by music, water fountains, plants and scent candles) harmonizing our mind to our body so we are more intutitive helping to improve "hormonal imbalance." Think of a plant outside, it needs nourishment from the right balance of sun and water for the roots to grow and thrive into something beautiful. Our bodies are the same way, what we eat and drink and even how much we exercise is what keeps us healthy. We need to get these hormones and the other systems in the body back into balance. We always need to research alternatives and keep an open-mind along the way. I am so glad I found you.

Wehavehope & Sunshine - thank u for ur kind words, i couldnt reach this far without the support of all of u here, u all have big hearts and i admire each and everyone of u, but today i feel weaker than ever, in the last cycles i prayed so much that i cannot pray anymore, i dont believe in anything anymore, everything seem to be so shallow and hollow, i feel like i have no strength to go on and at the same time i have to keep going on, if it wasnt for me, at least for my DH, so i dont know from where i have to bring the strength maybe from all of u inspiring women, i know im not alone, i know that u r all going through a lot but i can't help it, im on the edge, i can't see needles anymore, i cry each time i see a needle, i cant bare doing blood tests, taking meds, ER, ET, 2WW & the hardest part is that i have to do it over and over....
i think i must stop the venting here, i shouldnt be posting like this on these boards full of hope and positive thinking.

Fruit -I completely understand what you are going through and like others have said you must never apologize for your emotions and need to vent. There are good days, bad days and then the days you don't even want to get out of bed. We have all been there which is why we have the ability to empathize and understand what no one else can. It is better to get out here so that you are able to move on without the heavy weight on your chest. Its an overwhelming all consuming process that takes every ounce of strength to get through. We get that. We get you.

I have gone through 5 ectopics before I started IVF and each time there was an unimaginable grief when the doctors told me it wasnt viable. I have done 3 ivf attempts with no implantation. For 10 years I have tried and never once had a uterine pregnancy. I wonder whats wrong with me, i too cry at the sight of needles. Not because im afraid of them, but because I wonder if Im wasting my time and money and emotions in a desperate attempt to get something Im not supposed to have. Its because I trust my doctors, my husband, the ladies on this board and myself that I can keep on. Take any of those out of tge equation and I am lost. Please keep talking to us because we need your stories too. Each time we hear a positive outcome, its a group success.

I will do more personals later because I'm in the doctors office and on my phone. I got a call from my RE on Friday asking if I wanted an earlier appt and could I come in today instead of the 26th. Um YES! I turned 35 yesterday and time is ticking away. I need to start asap! So now I have back to back appts with my gyno for endometriosis then RE for an ivf resume. Im both excited and nervous because its been a while. I forgot about all the extra grooming that is required for my date with the doctors and my lady parts.

Quick update:
Went for my ultrasound and blood work this morning. Ultrasound looks good, lining is thin as it should be for CD3, follicles are tinny as they should be, and no cysts found. I should get a call this afternoon to let me know the results of the blood work. If the levels are good then I will start the Estrogen Patches tonight. DH and I will then also start taking the Doxycycline. AF is much heavier today which is a good thing. RE said that I need a good bleed with this AF so that hopefuly I can get rid of anything that may have been left over from the MC. The expectation is that once AF is over an since I will already have been on the Estrogen Patches for severaldays that there should be no more spotting or bloody discharge of any kind. If this holds true then we will proceed with FET on 9-30. If there is any spotting after AF is gone then I will need to have a D&C and wait some more. Please pray for me ladies.

Cheri76 - thank u for ur support and ur kind words, u even said the things i couldnt say about the days you can't even want to get out of bed, the consuming process that takes every ounce of strength, wondering what's wrong with me, ... no one can understand these feelings better than u ladies, not even my DH, he is surely supporting me and everything but no one can understand what we are really going through, when i see a needle i start crying and my DH and the nurses think that im afraid of needles, they will never get it....
i hope that u r appointment went well and HAPPY BIRTHDAY by the way, next year u'll be celebrating it with ur DH and your baby/ies.

Another quick update:
I just received a call from my IVF Nurse, she said that my levels were fine so we are ok to start Vivelle Dots (Estrogen Patches) tonight. I'm excited since this means that everything is moving along. However, I have to remind myself to be causious since we still need to make sure that there is no more spotting or bloody discharge after AF stops. We will ave to wait about a week and see. I am greatful for every little step in the right direction.

On another note, my clinic received a case of samples today. Take a guess what they were??? But of course, PreNatal Vitamins. I looked them up and they seem great. Even better then the ones I am currently taking. They are called Citra Natal Assure and Citra Natal 90DHA. They both have 1000mcg or 1mg of Folic Acid and 300 mg of DHA. The doctor I work with said to go ahead and take the samples home. I am taking home a 4 month supply. I feel truly blessed. Not sure how much these cost but they are prescription vitamins so probnly more then the OTC PreNatals.
