Crib bumpers - Safety

Post by Happy Bunny »

While the news is mixed, there seems to be an uprising of reports that suggest crib bumpers are not safe. Google will show you what's being said if you are interested.

Personally, we removed the bumper... It's ascetic appeal isn't worth our infant's safety. Brooke moves around quite a bit in her crib and can now roll over to her side so for us, it made sense to remove the bumper.

If you have a crib bumper, please do look at what the risks are.

Yeah, we set aside the bumpers that came with her crib set. We got her the breathable one so she doesn't get her arms and legs caught in between the slats.
