Does it get easier?

It's been three years since I lost my baby boy. I went for my 20 week ultra sound appointment to find out my baby had no heart beat. I just don't know what to think anymore as it still hurts :'( I think about it everyday and I never even found out what happened as they didn't know. There was a heart beat a few weeks before that so I'm unsure of what went wrong I just want to know if it gets easier because I just can't stop thinking about what happened...they made me go into labour to push him out-contractions and all! I kind of zoned out and thank god for my parents for helping me out as much they could but I just don't know who to talk to anymore as I still feel the pain of losing him

ohhh honey, I just want to reach out and give you a cyber ((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))). I had a very similar experience a year ago. I started bleeding at 17 weeks and went to OB, to be told my baby no longer had a heartbeat. I also had to go thru with delivery, which was terrible. It does get easier with time, but I am worried that you have had 3 years pass and are still grieving this strongly. I still experience the crushing loss of my baby, and EDD was especially hard, as was the anniversary of the passing. However, I have felt that time has given me some distance, some perspective and made it so I can think of my baby without breaking down all time. I don't think the grief every fully goes away, but it should change and be less crushing. I am here if you need to talk, vent etc. You can PM me, as I don't hang on this site much anymore, other than to check on a few cycle sisters gettting ready to deliver their babies.
