AFM, i am moving onto D&C next tuesday. my beta is coming down too slow from the chemical so we are going to go ahead with the procedure.

thanks, Ninde. i actually had the D&C yesterday. the doc called and said they had an opening at 11am. i was just able to squeeze it in between meetings. he is so good it only hurt for 30 sec. i went back to work right after. feel much better today, too. its nice to be able to move on. now just wait for AF, then a rest cycle and another AF, following which i start BCPs, lupron and another AF, the stims. so most likely the action will take place in december - right around my 40s birthday - i hope its good luck!

Ninde, Thank you for asking I'm hanging in there. RE has determined I have extremely high TPO antibodies that is effecting my thyroid. I'm in hope to hear more success stories, I know these things take time though. Anyway I will be continuing to follow you throughout this journey. Take care of you!

Hi everyone! How's everyone doing? I know some of you have moved over to the Fall board & some of you are now over on the PAT- Due in 2012 board. I'm too chicken to mover to the Due in 2012 board just yet, lol! I will definitely be stalking & cheering on those on the Fall board.
So, I'm eagerly waiting for Tuesday to get here, so I can see what's going on in there. I look forward to hearing the heartbeats & seeing the growth of my beans. DH nicknamed then Strecth & Spot. I haven't had too many symptoms. I've been tired & being back in school isn't making it better. I've had waves of nausea....more like just feeling queasy. I've recently started having major constipation (sorry, tmi). My boobs are tender. I'm staying positive that both of my beans are growing strong.

Ninde- I can't wait for your u/s this Thursday...so exciting!!! How do you feel? Any symptoms?

Lydia- I'm so glad you were able to get the D&C done earlier & that it didn't hurt! You're much closer to your next cycle!

Lauren319- I'm so happy to hear that you're starting a new fresh cycle. This will be it for you! You deserve this so much!

MadameX- Just checking in on you. Your BETA was scheduled for yesterday? How did everything go?

Ester- I am so excited for you and those twins! You need to move over to the PAT board! The constipation is awful, so I completely understand! That is still one of my biggest issues. I tried prune juice, but it just made me sick, so now I just take Colace. Can't wait to hear what I'm sure will be great news on Tuesday!

Lyd- I'm so glad that you have had the D&C, and that it wasn't too bad. I will be following you on the Fall board so that I can celebrate with you on that BFP!

To all of the ladies that are now on the Fall board- I will absolutely be following you all waiting on that BFP!

AFM- I had a little bit of spotting yesterday, which was scary. The bonus was that I got to get another look at the babies today, and they both look great! I'm finally off of my progesterone and estrogen, and I graduate to my OB in a week

Moorebaby : my symptoms are like yous but not the sore boobs! I use magnesium for the constipation.

Sunshine: can they manage the thyroid?

Wishing : do you know what caused the spotting?

Afm : doing well. Cold gone. Having a rough enough time from one of my sisters. I know what's going on, she miscarried some years ago and I'm trying to be understanding and ignore the jibes but its upsetting. On a cheery side, went to see 'friends with benefits " - very funny. Incidentally can I ask a tmi question? Does anyone know if its safe to have sex/orgasm after the first ultrasound? Our doctors here dont seem to be as cautious as yours in the States so I thought I'd ask you ladies if that's ok?

I have so been wantign to see that movie! I heard it was so good!!! About the thyroid, the doctor has me coming back in around 5 weeks to monitor it with b/w and see how I'm responding to the med. Our goal is to get it in the normal range and then try one more round of IUI before resorting back into IVF treatment. It may be after the holidays, all depending how on how our next labwork goes? I wish I knew more, but all we can do is stay positive (and busy) right now.
About your question, I would wait until after the 1st trimester, because you know how much you've been through to get to this point and the fetus is at it's earliest development so you want to play it safe but this is how most of us think in the United States. lol How are you feeling in general?

Hey ladies, hope you all are having a great weekend! Exciting news on this board . Congrats Moorebaby yay- double the excitement! I'll see you over on the PAT Board . Lyd- Sounds like you are going to have a 40th bday surprise when this cycle is the one! AFM: I'm doing well and time is already going by so fast... I'm almost 10 weeks! I feel good-- the sore boobs and little nausea has passed for the most part, but still constipated ughhh. Don't know if that ends. I have my first appt with my regular OB on the 27th so, looking forward to that. Although I don't post too frequently, I've been stalking and cheering you all on. Continued prayers and best wishes to you all! .

Wow, it's been super quiet here. I've been around, stalking every few days to get updates on everyone. I went for my first ultrasound today and saw one perfectly round sac. I tell ya that the internet is both a blessing and a curse and I cannot believe how frightened I have become knowing all of the bad things that can happen. I was a nervous wreck! I was relieved to see that all was ok. I also got my beta numbers and in exactly one week, they went from 78 to 2,600! I was definitely not expecting that number! I go back for another blood draw and u/s on the 30th because that is when we should be able to see a baby and a heartbeat- so looking forward to that.

Ester- Glad to hear that your pregnancy symptoms are not horrible. Hope you are feeling well and I can't wait to hear about your u/s on Thursday!

LYD- Hope you are feeling ok after your D&C.

Ninde- How are you feeling? I know what you mean about missing your coffee! I went from coffee to tea and have not had any caffeine since Friday- that's big for me. I've also had a terrible aversion to food- anything. I just dont want to eat. I know it's not good so I eat because I have to. I feel like the food sits at the top of my stomach. ugh

22years- How are you feeling? When is your u/s?

MadameX- Have you had your beta yet? Hoping things are going ok for you.

Hey guys,

Sorry I have been MIA. I got my BFN on Friday. I started AF spotting Thursday afternoon. I am just absoulty devastated over it. I have not been able to sleep and am just having so many feelings. I am not only trying to get over the BFN, but on top of that I think I am becoming to realize and trying to cope with the fact that a donor maybe the best option in my case. I feel that I could on forever transferring 1 or 2 embryos of who knows what quality with nothing left and no hopes of anything being left, not to mention the cost with the end result of a BFN. Where with a donor, yes expensive but, I will have options, choices, maybe even some to freeze and finally what I want most a child/children. This is just the most personal and biggest decision of my life! And whatever I choose everyone in my life will support me which I am greatful for, but no one will help me make it. I need a second opinion! I am just having a hard time with it all. I have been in bed all weekend crying and just so sad and broken. I do not feel sorry for myself. I just don’t understand. I ordered a bunch of book this weekend form Amazon. I am doing better today headed back to work and even went on a walk after with my pup. I made an appointment at a different clinic today and already I see a difference. I have a 2-hour app and am meeting with the RE, nurse, and getting an u/s. The secretary already e-mailed me a packet on what to expect my first visit and there are online classes once I log onto my account. Also other Fragile X patients have gone though there. This is nothing like my clinic now which I will schedule my follow up appointment tomorrow. So we will see what happens from here. Again sorry I have not been on, but just needed some time. I wouldn't have been bale to read/type though my swollen wet eyes anyway. Hopefully I will be over on the fall board soon. We will see what happens. I need a plan and hope, that is what keeps me going though all of this.... and of course you great group of girls!!! Thanks for all your support!!
