I just got a BFP yesterday after 5 years of trying and my 2nd IVF. I am excited and so nervous at the same time. What do your doctors say about exercise and sex in early pregnancy?
I have spoken to a couple of RE's about the no sex after BFP issue. They all say that the main reason they say no sex is because it could cause a little bit of bleeding and that would make the patient go into alarm. they advised that regular preggo people have sex and so can IVF patients. As far as exercise. i was told low impact and don't get your heartbeat above 140.

DE Cycle 2/2011 -BFP Jacob born 11/11/11
my RE allowed me to resume normal actiivity including sex 2 days after ET and low impact exercise. theres no difference between you and someone that didnt have IVF although if it makes you feel better not to then i say go for that too !
well i guess i wont b having hunny lovn after 2day. last i had to go to er because i started bleeding pretty heavy but luckly it was only from havn sex and baby girl is fine. what a way 2 find out the sex of baby. anyway we r not going to risk it so we will wait till baby is born i guess. oh im 20 weeks.
Sorry to hear about your scare Cherry, but glad that all is ok! And congratulations on Team PINK!!
DH and I haven't had any lovin since February since I started bleeding soon after my first u/s for HB. And although my SCH is finally appearing to be stable, it is still there so my OB is still recommending pelvic rest. We will not likely get to resume until after the twins are born!! I am guessing, with recovery and all, that will be about New Years!!! DH and I miss the intimacy, but if it brings my 2 healthy babies into this world it will all be worth it.

How does burning carbohydrates while exercising work? I'm curious as to how carbohydrates are used while exercising (I know during high intensity workouts) but as far as how fast do you burn them up when exercising. The harder you do cardio, the more calories you burn right, I assume carbs are the same, but are they used up at the same rate? I'm 18 and I am trying to perfect my diet as much as possible.

Sexual intimacy is a normal and healthy part of a committed relationship. Before pregnancy, you likely felt comfortable being intimate with your partner. Now that you're pregnant, you may have questions or feel unsure about having sex with your partner.
