Sunshine1576 - I love being a nurse. I have been a nurse for 12 years and work on a physical rehab unit at a local hospital. It is a very physical job with lifting people and helping people get around, but the good news is that I work with a great bunch of people and we work together well. I am so sorry that you were feeling sick! I hate how these meds have such effects on our body. I hope that you start to feel better soon. I love seeing your furbabies!! I will try to post mine soon.

Neffi - How is your sister. So sorry for her losses. Did you have to postpone you cycle?

Lauren319 - Welcome to the fall board where BFPs are right around the corner!!! So happy to see you have made it over.

Anton - I am really excited about this Natural IVF option! Any more info about it. How did DH feel about it. It really makes so much sense. I feel so positive about this option too!!! Next month would be great if you could try then!

Leora - That is very interesting about your limits on traveling to Arab nations. Europe is probably more exciting anyways!! I am a Registered Nurse on an inpatient physical rehab unit. We work LONG shifts, especially when we are short staffed, which we always are. After 12 hours all I can do is drag myself home and pass out!! I had the same pipelle endo biopsy with an HSG a few weeks ago in an attempt to help implantation with my FET! The research done on it so far is promising so I hope it makes a difference!

Toniaa - Congrats on a successful retrieval. My doc tries to do 5 day transfers on people with good fertilization because he feel allowing the embryos to progress to that stage will ensure that the strongest and the best are transferred. Sometimes with a day 3 transfer you do not get a chance to see which are the strongest because the embies are still developing. I always do a day 5 anyways because I do PGD.

Akdelp - Like you I am starting to get nervous!! That is an awesome number of embies that you have there if you need them. Hoping that you get your BFP and do not need them. Great fert report as well! My clinic will not tell me until I get there for the appointment, that is of course if nothing survives the thaw. So in their case, no news is good news.

WeHaveHope - Thanks for the well wishes. I am so excited and nervous. This is going to be a miserable 2ww. But I am trying to be positive. I just keep praying that this is it. DH and I have sunk almost $40K in IVF and we really need this to work!! I am tired of the BFNs and wondering if it will EVER happen for me. I need that same peace and tranquility that you are seeking. Thanks for the quotes I need that to help me stay positive and hopeful.

Becca5m - So sorry that you are having a bump in the road with your RE. Hopefully the biopsy results come back promising. Hopefully things do not get help up too long and you will be PUPA before you know it. Be careful with your searching, there is information out there that is all over the place. Thaw rates vary considerably from place to place. The best way to find out about successful thawing is to ask your IVF center for their rates. Other than that, try not to obsess about it or stress yourself out. Your body needs a calm place for your little one to grown when the time comes.

LaurenN - I am so happy you are gearing up to cycle again!!! Believe it or not, I did not have any problems with Lupron. My only time taking it was with my first IVF cycle. But I know there are some women you have a hard time dealing with the effects.

Moorebaby - So good to see you!! Thanks for the crash, I am so excited for you hun!!!

AFM - Transfer today at 1:30pm. I decided to just drive myself. The place is 5 mins away and they make you lie down for 30-45mins post transfer so I should be fine. I will take my Valium when I get home rather than before I go since I will be driving. I am so nervous and just keep praying that this works. My best friend from childhood is pregnant and just started her 3rd trimester and I have been doing good supporting her until now. She sent me a text about all of her pregnancy symptoms about 2 days ago and I just got myself together to respond. I am also supposed to be planning her baby shower for Nov.

Anyways, I will pop back on when I get back and let you know how things went. Thanks for all of your support, I do not know how I would keep myself together without you ladies!

Hi everyone--
We had our first blood test yesterday-- and I am pregnant. I am overjoyed but very, very cautious and taking this day by day. Our history includes 3 pregnancies in the last 3 years: 2009 missed miscarriage at 11 weeks (IUI), 1st IVF in 2010-- and our little boy born at nearly 33 weeks only lived for 2 months, though we are very thankful for him, and now this pregnancy.
I don't have any living children-- I pray for a healthy, living child.

I have my 2nd bloodtest tomorrow-- and the number needs to double. Day by day. I wish I could shout to the world, "I am pregnant" but something won't let me. So I will shout here! BFP! My husband and I have a new acronym: PFN (pregnant for now). I hope the "now" is a long, long time.

Sunshineandstars-yay!!! Your are pregnant. I can understand your concern but just take it a day at a time. Enjoy this moment. I will be praying for Beta doubling and a healthy pregnancy that will last nine months and a happy healthy baby. What was you Beta? I am so happy for you. Congratulations.

My beta was 75-- they said that was a strong number-- but it was lower than my last pregnancy...But when I asked, they told me that this was a 5 day transfer at blast stage and is different than the 3 day embie transfer.... Trying to find info on the net... but that is scary too. Everyone says not to look at the numbers, but at the "rise" or doubling...

Sushineandstars-that is correct. Don't be concerned with the 1st number. It is definantely a good strong Beta. I will be praying for that Beta to double and then continue to double. Have faith. Sorry I have been MIA, work is busy and I'm even busier when home, but I have been reading. I had to pop in and say Congratulations to sunshine and stars. When I read your post I got a warm fuzzy inside, just brings a big smile to my face to read about someones BFP. I will be keeping you in my thoughts each day. I will catch up with everyone in a day or so, working on almost 9 days straight of working .

Wow, the Fall Board is moving really fast now. It was only a little over a month ago when I started the Fall Board and posted on it for the first time. Now there are so many wonderful friends that have joined the board. We have friends that are PUPO already and even a BFP announcement today. I am so happy and excited for us all. This Fall is sure to bring us many, many miracles.

Quick update:
I spoke to my RE this morning. He said that he spoke with the lab director and the Embryologist and they all agreed that we should transfer the two 6 day frosties because they are of higher quality then the 5 day frosties. I believe I made a mistake last time when I listed the grading of my embies so the correct grading of the two embies we will be transfer is, one 4AB and one 2BB.

Next appointment is Sunday, September 25th for blood work and ultrasound. I should get the ok on Sunday to start the PIO injections. Then I will have my PAP on Monday, September 26th. Its been a year since my last PAP so I have to have it done befor my transfer. Finally, FET on Friday, September 30th. Please say a little prayer for me . I am praying for a BFP that will bring home a happy healthy baby or two. As always I am keeping each and everyone one of you in my prayers. Its all in God's hand now. Sending you all xoxoxo

wehavehope- How exciting that your FET is coming up so soon!!! I will be thinking of you and praying for you!!! I know that you want a BFP and praying that you get one! Thanks for the info on the grading.. I know that the frozen embies are 5 day... I know that we decided to keep only the good graded embies when we froze them.... I cant wait to see how they thaw out and what grade they will be... I am nervous. I just ordered my meds.... lupron and progest. tomorrow will arrive! THanks for making me call and ask. I think that I would have missed the chance to transfer next month if I did not open my mouth!

Sunshineandstarts- Congrats on the bfp!! I will be thinking of you as you start the journey! I hope that you can get some rest and take it easy and just enjoy the time!

fvrogers-thinking of you today as you have your transfer. I know that it is hard with people that are pregnant. I am so glad to know that you kept it together-I at times find myself crying..... I am always glad when someone is expecting that I know but its hard...emotionally...

AFM- just waiting... Tomorrow is pretest! I am going to be so excited! It seems like the first step in the long journey. If all goes well lupron starts next week. I cant believe that this is all happening! I am so happy.... What an anxious 2 1/2 hour ride tomorrow- oh yeah need a full bladder even better !!
