not feeling very hot tonight and our company will be here any minute. Glad dh cooked this morning. Maybe some veggies high in vitamins will give me a boost of energy. Because of my work shift I starved and finally ate lunch at 2:30 and knew that wasn't a good idea. Note to myself: Must start bringing food to work and make time to eat better.

akdelp- That sounds like a good idea I wonder if they will put that in my orders..... DH works so much and I know that I will need him around. I talked to my RE and they said 72 hours of bed/couch rest and I am not sure how I am going to do that... I have a 5 yr old (from a previous marriage) and a 17 month old (1st ivf).... I am not sure how I am going to not lift...

sunshine-sorry that you are not feeling really well.... I have found that I am a little more tired and crampy... anyone else crampy on bcp (1st week) but I have been on them for a while but I did have my pretesting done for FET, so I guess that made my insides upset. I did my first shot of lupron this morning... Uh.... not to mention two antibiotics... fun fun but hey the process is on its way. You have yours coming up soon!! Exciting.

AFM- I am looking forward to the trip... was still in shock that i was giving myself a shot this morning-made me realize that it was really happening! I am so thankful that I can go ahead and go with this! I know that DH is making sacrifices and I am so blessed that he is on the same page as me. Trying to have another baby..... so Happy!!! I am so blessed and thankful for the family I have and just looking to expand it.. such an age difference between the two kids... I am praying that you all get the bfp that you deserve!! I am so glad that you all are on here! THank you for your support and kind words!

Hi Guys, Sorry for being MIA my job has been sucking the life out of me for the past few weeks. So I had a question for you guys. Has anybody have SEVERE food aversions and nausea on BCP's? I am taking a type I never have before called Sprintec and it's really tearing up my stomach I hope this is normal and just my body getting used to the hormones. I literally think about food and I am ready to hurl, it's that bad. I can eat but as soon as I do I feel like I am going to throw it back up. So anyway, any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Sunshine- Congrats on the promotion. I love OG also Can't get enough of their salad. Sounds like you had a chill weekend. I hate shopping. I try to stay at the mall for a very limited time. I am also on the thyroid meds and had spotting but attributed it to the birth control pills.

Leor - The wonderful HSG ugh. Do you know they can now do them in the doctor's office. My doctor said I should get another one and I figures it would be a week out. Then he informs me that we can do it in the office right then and there. I was not happy.... I love the smell of rain too.

Toniaa- ER 9 fertilized!!!! I will let someone else give info on the 3 vs 5.

akdelp - fvr and ton Happy ER.TR - right behind you guys. 7 is a lucky number. You are almost at the finish line. 59 EGGS!!! It is still sinking in....Thinking good thoughts for you.

Anton - Our doctor only does ICSI. I am hoping you have the best natural ivf ever. It sounds like a good deal. You might even get 2 eggs Until your next cycle, just spend every day enjoying each other. Your pic together looks ultra cute.

WeHaveHope - I guess you will be going for the blood work and ultrasound on the 25th. Wonderful PIO injections. I have not gotten that far yet. I hope your lining is at 9 or 10!!! Loved your picture. Keep sharing in the future. It made me think God is bigger than this... Why is everyone eating Pineapple?

blessed - don't worry. If you have questions that is what they are there for to answer and support you. When I have my consulations with the nurse I ask a million questions. I am paying big money. They know I am hormonal and loopy. I'm sure Im not the only wacky patient. So get all your questions answered to your satisfation.

fvr - Baby dust to you. Those blast need to last!!! I can not believe you forgot to void. You must have been driving like maniac! This is why I always let people in a hurry pass! I always assume they have a good excuse. So far my driving karma has been good.

Sunshn&Stars - Our first positive! Yeah!!!! I am holding my breath for you. Take it day by day. I totally understand how you feel.

AFM- Sep 21st - ultrasound and bloodwork - 5 fol on right and 5 on left - at my age that is a good number the doctor was happy.
continue with bravelle and menopur and lupron, dexamethasone .5 mg, prenatal, metformin, folgard, calcium, synthroid. I bruised big time from the blood work. Not sure what happened. My levels were good.

Sept 23rd - Husband back from NY - school out for 1 week. Perfect timing!!!! He is a lawyer and getting his LLM in law at NYLS we are in Bay Area California. Im telling you, it felt like my body natrally ovulated. I was so scared that my body had overridden the drugs. But it did not.

Sept 24th -Happy B day to me!! How did I get this old so fast! NOOOOOOO this was not in my plan to still be trying at this age. Second ultrasound and bloodwork. Had at least 2 fol. that reached 18 so took trigger shot at 9pm. No more Bravelle/Menopur/Lupron!!!! YES! Damn I have Bravelle and Menopur left over - crap crap crap!!! All because I did not listen to the nurse and over ordered! But I had to take the first Lovenox injection. It was not too bad. No bruising, yet. The needle had a trigger - scary!

9/25 Day before Egg retreival
continue dexamethasone 1mg, dont have anything to drink or eat after midnight including water (my mouth is dry just thinking about it) No Lovenox! Yes! Continue all other meds. Any tips before the retreival, girls?

9/26 - Egg retreival! I'm so happy to have gotten this far. I have never been put under. Wondering what it is going to feel like.

estimated transfer - 5 days later.

I made my husband watch while I gave myself injections and look at all my meds to get pity. I worked. He was extra nice. It's 330 am and I'm out of my mind. Hope my post made sense. Im knackered.

It’s a beautiful day here in Cyprus! We went for dinner last night with my brother, SIL and a couple of friends and we had a great time. It’s been some time to have such a laugh! We slept at 2am and this morning DH made breakfast and we sat at the veranda chilling out and then back in the house to watch 2 episodes from THE GOOD WIFE. We are really hooked on that series ....we went at my parents place for our regular Sunday BBQ. The plans for the rest of the day is to watch F1 Race and then chill out for the rest of the day!

LYD- I wish that you get your BFP for your birthday my friend!! A Xmas baby sounds perfect to me!!! Make sure you ask Santa to bring you one this Xmas!

Wehavehope- A Fall/winter board sounds great! I am in! Hey girl! you are getting closser to your BFP!! Cant wait to cheer you on your pregnancy!!!

Fvrogers- Hey PUPO how are you feeling? I haven’t seen "Hanna" yet! We were supposed to put it the other day and friends came over unexpectedly and so we didn’t....we left it for tonight though. We love Sunday night movies! Btw I saw Aida and it was awesome! I am an opera fun as well and even though we don’t have an opera house in Cyprus whenever I got the chance I go to. My DH is not so much into opera but since I am not going everyday he does me the favour and comes with me...about constipation, my RE gave me last time the magic liquid called magnesium “San Pelegrino” and it does wonders during the progesterone period!!! Watch out how much you are taking though b/c you might end up living in the toilet!

Akdelp- One more week and we are celebrating your BFP with you!! I am with your DH on the POAS dilemma! I am not a POAS follower for exactly the same reason. What if is negative on the stick b/c is too soon or something and my hopes get down without reason...but, I am a PAS pusher!! Go on and POAS! we wouold love to celebrate another BFP on the board!

Tess- Hello my friend! Congratulations on being PUPO!!! Good to have you with us! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you to get that BFP and most of all a healthy baby!!! Good Luck!!...thank you SO much for your kind words and wishes!

Sushineandstars- hi there mama! Even though I never made it to a BFP yet, I totally understand where you coming from with the worrying... We will ALWAYS worry about something until we get our baby in our arms and even then another level of worrying starts. Who said becoming a mother was easy! Stop looking at details in the internet! You are pregnant and that is something you should celebrate! Enjoy every moment and try being positive! Live the present and stop thinking what if? And the present sais that you are pregnant! I wish you a healthy, uneventful pregnancy all the way! And most of all a healthy baby or two!!!

This way you can’t lose them. Sometimes at the same time you are posting, someone else might be posting too and you would think that you posted and logout when actually you haven’t. This is my two cents on the lost post issue ...

JenMink- Hey girl! Good to hear from you! I am sorry you are not feeling well and hope you feel better soon! ...Except bloating never had any other symptoms from taking BCP’s...

You’ll be PUPO in 6 days and its going to last for the next 9 months! ...and hey! Happy belated Birthday girl!!! is it the big 20! I wish you have your baby/ies in your arms by your next birthday!

Quick update:
I drove an hour this morning to have my b/w and u/s done. My clinic is closed on the weekends but the clinch that is an hour away is open 7 days a week. So u/s showed my endometrial lining to be at 8.6. The nurse said hay was good. No word on the b/w yet, I will get a call later this afternoon with instructions. If my Estrogen level is high enough and I have not ovulated then we are good to go for FET. There is one concern and that is that my calendar may be a day off. I'm not sure what that means. In receiving the final calendar the original calendar that had been given to me was off by one day from the calendar the nurse had. The concern is that the start of the PIO (progesterone injections) has to be exact. There is no room for error. So the nurse said she was going to review everything with the RE that is there today and call me back.

Things happen very quickly, so I have another update:
The nurse just called me. The lab work showed that I am non-ovulatory and my Estrogen level is great 689. For FET's they like to see an Estrogen level in the 200+ range so my level is really good. My lining was 8.6 and they like to see the lining above 7.0, they nurse said they would be weary to proceed with a lining below 7 so my lining is good to proceed. She said that with the continued Estrogen patches and the addition of the PIO injections my lining will continue to thicken prior to FET date. Now to the issue of the dates. The nurse said that something got a little screwy with my calendar. With that said, I am good to begin PIO tonight. The question is going to be if we absolutely want to transfer the 6 day higher quality embryos then we will have to have the FET on Saturday 10-1 and it will be a different RE that would do the transfer. If we are ok with transferring the 5 day slightly lower quality embryos then we would keep our date on 9-30 and my RE would do the transfer. DH and I discussed it and we will keep our FET date of 9-30 and transfer the last 5 day embryos we have left. The othe two sets we will have left after this FET will be two sets of day 6 embryos. The lab had advised us and my RE that it's a wash because they have statistics that show that they have a slightly lower success rate with day 6 embryos. So slightly lower sucess rates with day six embryos but higher quality or slightly higher success rates but slightly lower quality with the day 5 embryos.

So we are set. FET will happen on Friday, September 30th with my RE and DH is going to go in with me this time. We will transfer 2 5day embryos, one is a 3BB and one is a 3BC. Last time I got pregnant with 2 day day grade 3BB embryos but the pregnancy ended up with a MC. Praying for a good healthy pregnancy which will let me bring home a baby this time. I will be taking it easy from transfer day on Friday and not planning on going back to work until Tuesday. My dear friends, please say a prayer for us. I'm a little bumbed about the sudden change in plans. DH is hopeful and is trying to get me yo understand that nothing has changed. He feels confident with the 5 day embryo transfer because of the slightly higher success rates. I'm trying to look at it that way but I was already looking forward to having the other two embryos transferred. I need to trust in God that he knows why he has made this change in our journey. Looks like everyone is moving along nicely. I feel like I am so far behind most of you and another 5 weeks seems like an eternity away!

WE- it is hard to make a change in plans! But this may be a change that will give you the baby in your arms. Keep the PMA!

AFM-- AF came late and it did bump my calendar back a little. I am on BCP until Oct 5th. Start Lupron Oct 1 and we will see when AF shows up again. Transfer is scheduled for Nov 3 right now.....I am ok with this. The first date was the 28th of Oct and I was a little bummed because I would have worried about all the walking around I plan on doing with my DS for Halloween. So what is 5 more days, right?.....
